FAITH CAPSULE: When one can identify with what such carries, a journey exists to the glory of God.

Exodus 4

What do you carry that is meant to set you up for your divine assignment in life? 
The Bible makes all realize that everyone is the temple of God. 
1 Corinthians 3:16 records, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”  
As a child of God, you are a temple of God, meaning a house of God. 
In your house, what do you carry that is meant to set you up and establish you on your journey of life for the glory of God? 
It does not matter who you are; it does not matter where you are, but there is a need to know you are not empty. 
However, when you identify with what you carry, your journey is set for the glory of God.
The Bible records a widow stating, “A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves. So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” (2Kings 4:1-2) 
Eventually, it was a jar of oil in the house which the widow counted as nothing that brought her out of nothing into abundance. 
Does your story sound like one with challenges and not knowing that your solution is within you? 
The widow was delivered from mockery to miracle when the challenges of her life resolved through a jar of oil she mistook as nothing.
Besides what is in the house, what you have in your hand and not know about might be your steering to the center of your divine assignment. 
God knew what was in the hand of Moses when He placed a call on Moses. 
Moses did not know what was in his hand when he attempted to reject the calling of God over his life. 
God called Moses, “Then Moses answered and said, “But suppose they will not believe me or listen to my voice; suppose they say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you.’”(Exodus 4:1) 
God identified what was in the hand of Moses by calling his attention to it with a question, “So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.”(Exodus 4:3) 
In the hand of Moses, an ordinary rod served as a vessel of transformation in his life. 
God will use you for His attainment if you listen and allow Him to identify what is in your hand. 

Prayer for today: Ask God to call your attention to what you carry for Him to use you.     

 FAITH CAPSULE: In the recording of the word of God are prescription that works against the enemy. 

2 Chronicles 20:1-21

What stages battle against existence in any area of life? 
It can be rest assured that there is a hiding place as a shield for deliverance. 
With hope in the word of God, deliverance and preservation will unfailingly answer against all battling existence in any area of life. 
The psalmist testifies, “You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word”. (Psalm 119:114) “Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope.” (Psalm 119:116) 
The psalmist would not have testified if not truth.
The word of God is the power to deliver and preserve for one that will work the works of the word (which is to be living the word).
In the manual of life (the living word of God; the Bible) are all loaded manner of prescription that works against any force that is not of God.
However, if you search and work it out, the word of God that does not discriminate will answer for you.
Once, Jehoshaphat and his people prevailed in the face of challenge. 
2 Chronicles 20:1-3 documents, “It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat. Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi). And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.”  
In the verses above, it is clear that the victory of Jehoshaphat was rooted in setting himself apart by seeking God in praying and fasting. 
Engaging in praying and fasting is waiting on God. 
It is not possible to wait on God and be a waste. 
God is faithful to honor His word, and the word testifies, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.” (Isaiah 64:4)
Going by the verse above, God is a God who acts for those who wait on Him. 
Jehoshaphat prayed and fasted with the understanding that he did not wait to waste. 
Jehoshaphat prayed the prayer that made his request known by reminding God (putting God to remember). 
He stated, “O Lord God of our fathers, are You, not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there, not power and might so that no one is able to withstand You?” (2 Chronicles 20:6). 
One studying the word of God will identify prescriptions that have the power to deliver by reminding God.

Prayer for today: Ask by letting Him know that He alone is your deliverer in the face of a wicked world.

FAITH CAPSULE: Waiting on God to experience the manifestation of prayer can take longer or shorter than expected.

Psalm 40

Jesus was sharing the Parable of the Persistent Widow when he stated, “…when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:18) 
The parable of Jesus points out that waiting demands unfailing faith when the manifestation of prayer seems delayed or impossible.
It is a must to have faith in waiting on God. 
Have faith to believe and to obey God in any area of seeking God. 
Wait on God without doubt in every area of life.
Are you a faithful or faith-empty one?
To always obey and wait is encased in the life of Abraham. 
Hebrews 11: 8-10 records, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” 
The verses above point Abraham out as a faithful one: 
By faith, Abraham obeyed; by faith, he dwelt in the land of promise. 
He demonstrated his faith (belief) by waiting.
Are you waiting on God in any area of life? 
To be waiting on God is timeless. 
Waiting on God to experience a manifestation of prayer can take longer or shorter than expected.
The waiting that takes Mr. A a short time before getting an answer can take Mr. B longer to get his answer from God. 
One waiting before God is not possible not to hear from God.
One thing God cannot do is He cannot fail.
God cannot fail because time is in His hand, and He can answer at the early or late hour. 
Although man controls his clock, God is God, and no one can control the timing of God. 
David testifies in Psalm 40:1, “I waited patiently for the Lord, And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.” 
King David, in his waiting, it is evident that he kept on praying when he stated, “But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink…” (Psalm 69:13-14) 
Prayer and expectation are the anchors of waiting, and David demonstrated it. 
Wait patiently, and He will answer you.
Isaiah 64 should seal the faith of waiting on God to experience a manifestation of prayer.
Isaiah 64:4 records, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”  
Wait on God without doubt.

Prayer for today: Ask God to help you so your faith will not fail.

FAITH CAPSULE: Unforgiving is a sin that will deny one to see God.

Matthew 18:21-35

An acclaimed believer not forgiving, as the word of God demands from all, is the position of not living by the word of God.
As an acclaimed believer, you are on a mission of fulfillment. 
Are you forgiving other who faults you?
The Master of all masters (Jesus) brought forgiveness to all, and He expects all to forgive and carry on with Him. 
Are you a forgiving believer or an unforgiving believer? 
A failure not to release others to forgiveness is attempting to carry on without the Master taking charge. 
As an acclaimed believer, there will always be a need to be constantly assessable to the Master, or the journey will be prematurely and permanently terminated. 
Prayer is the expressway of assessing the Master. 
One who cannot stand in prayer will fall and not prevail. 
The word of God demands all to be constant and consistent in forgiving those who fault one. 
When understanding to forgive flows in the life of a believer, engaging in prayer according to God is bound to find God.
Mark 11:25 identifies the standard required to stand in prayer, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses.” 
The truth in the word of God demands all to give self to the word of God.
Mark 11:26 states what happens when there is a failure not to forgive others, “But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” 
Do you have the challenge to forgive and move forward without looking back to the past? 
A failure not to forgive is a passage not to stand and gain access to God in prayer. 
Are you having the challenges not to forgive? 
If yes, it is time to begin to pray for the ones you are having challenges to forgive. 
Peter wanted to know how often to forgive when he asked Jesus, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” (Matthew 18:21) 
Jesus wants us to know that forgiving others is not limited to once but as often as the need calls for others. 
Allow the Spirit of God to work on you to become a believer with the mind to forgive.
One with no heart to forgive makes the price Jesus paid for all on the cross. 
God is true to perform His word. 
David testifies to the power of His word, “…For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” (Psalm 138:2) 
Unforgiving is a sin, and it will deny sinners from God. 
Be a forgiver and become assessable to God. 
God is Holy, and with sin, no one can see Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God for His grace to be a consistent forgiver of those who offend you.

FAITH CAPSULE: Ones who know to wait on God are the ones who know to ask.

Psalm 32, 94 

What is stopping you from asking from God?
A failure not to ask will lead to a lack of faith.
Matthew 7:7-11 records, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”  
Asking and not receiving could be evidence of asking wrongly. 
The Bible makes all realize that it is possible to ask and ask wrongly. 
James 4:3 states, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.” 
What are you asking from God? 
Turn around and ask to be enabled to seek God more. 
Asking from God is not because God forgets.
God expects asking from Him.
God is a jealous God that gives attention to being asked for.
How can one not know that a caring God is mindful of His creation?
God does not forget His children.
God is a good God.
He is God who acts for the one who waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4)  
Ones who know to wait on God are the ones who ask, and God attends to them. 
The Bible points out that He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? 
He who formed the eye, shall He not see? (Psalm 94:9) 
Ask to be enabled to ask God for instruction and teaching over your life to keep you in the direction of God. 
Today, uncommon challenges and evil occurrences ravaging the world demand to ask for His promises. 
The word of God promises, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will guide you with My eye.” (Psalm 32:8) 
Do you desire His eye to guide you? 
It is a blessing to be guided by the eye of God.
Psalmist buttresses, “Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, and teach out of your law, that You may give him rest from the days of adversity…” (Psalm 94:12-13) 
There is a need for all to desire rest from His instruction and teaching. 
All should have a place in the promise of God that instructs and teaches for rest to have a place in life. 
Turn to God and ask for instruction and teaching to keep you in the plans of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that the hand of God shall rest on you in all endeavors.
