WITH GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: With impossibility in place, God is in a position for possibility.

Luke 9:10-17, John 2:1-11,

Invite the presence of Jesus to convert mockery to a miracle.
Matthew 19:26 records the word of Jesus, “…With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
With God, there is no impossibility.
With God, challenges of the past and the present is possible for God to convert all to the celebration.
With trust and hope in the name of God, impossibility shall become possible.
With God, all that is impossible shall answer as the possibility of God.
God is the Ancient of Days, the only God that dwells in unapproachable light and is in a position to reverse irreversible for good to the glory of God.
There is no challenge that God cannot change to the celebration.
No situation is too late for God to settle and establish for good.
With trust and hope, God alone reverses irreversible.
Ridicule was in the place to mock weddings in Cana of Galilee, but the presence of Jesus was in place to convert mockery into a miracle. At the wedding, the wine finished setting the celebration to become a mockery for the new couple.
Is it possible that your marriage is running out of oil that burns the fire of God that is the joy of marriage?
For the new couple, the presence of Jesus converted the challenge into a celebration.
At the wedding of Cana of Galilee, the mother of Jesus spoke to Jesus, “…They have no wine” (John 2:3)
The response of Jesus states, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” (John 2:4)
The mother of Jesus could not be discouraged from calling for the intervention of Jesus for a miracle to deny mockery.
In John 2:5, the mother of Jesus said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
With obedience to the direction of Jesus, there will be a way to arrive at an expected end.
With impossibility in place, God is in a position for possibility.
At the feeding of five thousand, the disciples asked for the multitude to depart because there was no possibility for provision in the desert ground.
Jesus intervened that the multitudes get fed from five loaves and two available fish.
The request seemed impossible when Jesus gave His word to His disciples in the place of about five thousand men stating, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.” (Luke 9:14)
Obey His direction fully to experience His miracle in place of mockery.
Have you disobeyed the commands of God?
Luke 9:15 records, “And they did so, and made all sit down.”
In response to the obedience of His direction, He blessed the five loaves and two fish, and the multitude ate in abundance.
With God, nothing is impossible.

Prayer for today: Ask that you trust and hope in the word of God.

DIRECTION OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Self-assumption will lead outside of the direction of God.

Genesis 19

Every God-created day is a journey with the plan of God to keep one in His way.
The way of God is His word for all to follow through and not be wasted. Ignoring and disobeying God will set one up consciously or unconsciously outside of the plan of God.
Self-assumption is an avenue to self-destruction.
There is no reasonable excuse to disobey the plan of God for all. Proverbs 13:13 states for the wise as a warning “He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
Walking outside of God is also evidence of giving self to self assumption, not to the plan of God.
Come out of self-assumption into the plan of God that will get obedient to a divine assignment for life.
Are you a man with self-assumption or self-determination to engage in self-assignment?
The way that that seems right to one can lead to death. Proverbs 14:12 warns, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
Determination to depend on self-assumption will take one to step outside the plan of God.
A specified direction of God was His plan for the family of Lot.
Encased in the direction for Lot and his family were deliverance and preservation to keep them from destruction.
The book of Genesis 19:17 records, “So it came to pass when they had brought them outside, that he said, ‘escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.’”
The wife of Lot took to self-assumption.
Genesis 19:26 records the consequence, “But his wife looked back behind him and she became a pillar of salt.”
In her journey, she looked back against the will of God, and she could not further but wasted in life.
The wife of Lot died in disobedience.
Every determination outside of God is evidence of the spirit of disobedience in life to the will of God.
Are you finding it difficult to obey the direction of God?
Your determination will fail.
1Samuel 2:9 says that “by strength shall no man prevail.”
Ask God to give you the strength to go by His will in the life journey, not to be a failure.
Determination with desire will enable one not to fail in the will of God.
Self-determination made Peter deny Jesus three times, but the seed of prayer of Jesus was in place to deliver Peter. Luke 22:32 states, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Avoid self-assumption and self-determination that is outside of God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the word of God to be established in your life.

LIFE JOURNEY

FAITH CAPSULE: In the life of a journey, allow the word of God to answer as the track.

Joshua 1

The living word of God is the way, the truth, and the life for all to observe.
Life is a race and calls for engaging the word to race right.
Hebrew 12:1 states, “Therefore we also since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us”
In the race of life, run and possess the promise of God in the word of His grace.
Joshua received a calling not to miss in the promise of God.
Joshua 1:7 records, “Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.”
Going by the word of God is the only track in the race of life not to miss the promise of God.
The word of God demands meditation and will answer as track when being observed continually.
Observing the word of God is investigating the word.
Investigating the word is not questioning but living by the truth in the word.
With no iota of doubt, it is the word of God that one investigates that will navigate one through the race of life.
Joshua 1:8 records, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
The word of God is His law.
The word of God is instruction and His command.
Those who allow their heart to keep the word of God shall have the length of days, long life, and peace. (Proverbs 6)
Those who can keep the word of God are the ones who make God their confidence.
Those who keep the word of God will know to do good when the chance calls to do good.
Those who keep the word of God do not stumble where others stumble. The word of God does not mark one or exempt one not to experience afflictions, but in the word, there is an assured promise for deliverance. (Psalm 34:19)
Above all, those who keep the word in their heart will know not to lean on self-understanding.
Proverbs 6:22 records assured track, “When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you.”
Life is a journey.
The word of God is to continually engage as the track to gain the promise of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled not to miss the word as a track in the life journey.

LOYAL HEART

FAITH CAPSULE: Doing right continually is with a loyal heart.

2Chronicles 25

Doing right before God but not maintaining right before God is evidence of a lack of a loyal heart.
What kind of a believer are you before God?
Man can demonstrate deception, but not God.
Do not do right with no commitment to God as a way of life, evidence of a loyal heart.
Acclaimed believers are doing right without maintaining doing right before God is evidence of no loyal heart in the sight of God.
Today, continual wickedness reduces acclaimed believers and unbelievers with no loyal heart.
Amaziah is one that did right before God but was not loyal before God. 2Chronicles 25:1-2 records, “Amaziah was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem. And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, but not with a loyal heart.”
For example, one is right before God accepting Jesus as the Lord and savior but not loyal in the sight of God.
Many are right to come out regularly to worship God in the church but not loyal in the sight of God.
Does that sound like you?
2Chronicles 25:3-4 records about Amaziah that was right, “Now it happened, as soon as the kingdom was established for him, that he executed his servants who had murdered his father the king. However, he did not execute their children but did as it is written in the Law in the Book of Moses, where the Lord commanded, saying, “The fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall the children be put to death for their fathers; but a person shall die for his own sin.”
Amaziah carefully obeyed the Law in the book of Moses, which counts as doing right in the sight of God.
For Amaziah, the lack of a loyal heart in the sight of God is evident after winning a battle against the Edomites.
It was a battle he would not have been able to win, but the divine intervention of God gave victory to him and Judah when they defeated the Edomites.
After his victory, “he brought the gods of the people of Seir, set them up to be his gods, and bowed down before them and burned incense to them. Therefore the anger of the Lord was aroused against Amaziah, and He sent him a prophet who said to him, “Why have you sought the gods of the people, which could not rescue their own people from your hand?” (2Chronicles 25:14-15)
Amaziah was unwilling to listen to the prophet sent by God.
Amaziah could not maintain a loyal heart for God that won him battle.
Today, many answers as Amaziah doing right in the sight of God but with no loyal heart before God.
Be committed to God doing right and maintaining a loyal heart in the sight of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live right with a loyal heart before God.

EXPERIENCE HIS VISITATION

FAITH CAPSULE: Live life to experience His visitation.

Genesis 18

BE SPIRITUAL
To be spiritual is to be prepared to receive from God.
For example, spending time in the word of God continually is taking a position to experience the visitation of God.
God gave His word to Moses for His people, “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.” (Exodus 19:10-11)
The prescription in the word of God was to prepare the Israelites to experience God.
Preparation is to stay away from sin, open self to the word of God, to experience Godly visitation.
ENGAGE EFFECTIVE PRAYER
Engaging in effective prayer is to shut in with God and shut out the world.
The visitation of God is in seeking Him diligently at the prayer altar. Jeremiah 29:13-14 records, “And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity…”
Without a doubt, prayer is an opening key to assessing the presence of God for His wonders.
WALK IN OBEDIENCE
Living life in obedience to the word of God is to remain and retain the presence of God.
Obedience to God is evidence of faithfulness and not being a vessel of evil agenda.
John 14:21 records, “He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
Obey God to experience His visitation.
BE SPIRITUALLY SENSITIVE
Spiritually sensitive is to be spiritually awake and not miss out on divine visitation that will position one in the assignment of God.
John 6:63 states, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
Spiritual sensitivity to the word is to engage the presence of God in His word.
Abraham could not miss unexpected divine visitation when he received the word of God of the son of promise and the deliverance of Lot from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. (Genesis 18)
Receiving a message from God is the engaging visitation of God
PRAISING/THANKING GOD
Praising and giving thanks to God is like being pregnant with the wonders of God.
For example, thanksgiving of Jesus always provokes the experience of the presence of God, His visitation.
At the grave of Lazarus, Jesus gave thanks to God, to experience the visitation of God.
John 11:41-43 records the word of Jesus, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
Live for God to experience His visitation.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace to encounter His divine visitation.
