LIVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Come out of living in sin, live life for God.

Genesis 3

Sin keeps a distance from God.
God is caring, wanting to have a close relationship with His creation.
God sent His beloved, who will be a link for all to Him.
Jesus took all sin to Himself for the sake of all to become connected with God.
The question is, with Jesus paid for sin, why does the Bible say all have to stand before God for judgment?
Further, does this mean it is not enough to believe in Jesus and put our trust in Him as our Savior?
The answer to that question is: one of the truths in the Bible that when Jesus Christ died on the cross, all our sins were taken upon Him, for all to put faith and trust in Him as forgiven.
Colossians 2:13 states, “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses.”
The faith to trust and hope is a blessing of being connected with God, living for the glory of God.
Live life in fear, for God takes away to be far from.
Christ took all our sins upon Himself, and He endured the judgment that we deserved. 2 Corinthians 5:21 states, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Despite Jesus having paid for our sins, we all must stand before God to receive a reward for what we have done for Him.
Matthew 25:23 records the greatest reward is to hear God say to all, “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Live life to serve God by staying out of sin.
Commitment to God should not take over your life.
The sin of Adam does not have a reasonable excuse before God, but calls for the pronouncement of consequences over Adam by God.
For your sin before God, are you counting on excuses before God?
Be warned, know, and understand that sin and sinning are not excusable before God.
Disobedient to the word of God.
As a temple of God, are you taking care of your temple for God?
The word of God records, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16) Answering as a believer does not stop the consequence of God. 1 Corinthians 3:17, documents “If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” (1 Corinthians 3:17) Are you defiling the temple of God in you?
Keep away from sin before God, who always sees it all.
No excuse for sinning will excuse anyone from the consequences of sin.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enable you not to be a vessel of sin and sinning.

DO YOU KNOW?

FAITH CAPSULE: Praising God can never be too much.

Psalm 100, 150

God is a caring God and will not ignore praise directed to Him.
Are you praising God as a way of life?
Inconsistent praising God will count against one who does not praise to gain the presence of God.
Are you full of praising or less of praising God?
Praising God can never be too much, but it will continually retain you in the presence of God.
Make a way of life, to be praising God in the morning, afternoon, and night because God inhabits the praises of His people.
Psalm 22:3 confirms, “But you are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.”
What will it cost you to engage in praising God as your way of life? Without a doubt, constantly praising God is what will make all the difference in every walk of life.
Knowing and understanding how to praise God is what it takes to experience the manifestation before God.
Praising God demands understanding, Psalm 47:7 states, ” For God is the king of all the earth; sing praises with understanding.”
Praise God with understanding!
God deserves the praise of His people at the breath of life He has given to His creation.
The Psalmist declares, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” (Psalm 150:6)
The goodness and mercy of God demand praising God, and it cannot be too much to praise God at every breath.
Praising God with understanding will revoke the challenges of the enemy.
Praising God is hallowing Him to honor or consecrate Him.
King David, a man after the heart of God, knows and understands the praising of God as his weapon of gaining victory over his enemies.
2 Samuel 22:4 records the testimony of David, “I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praise; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”
David understands quite well what it means to be constantly praising God.
David was full of praising God.
At the time of moving the ark of God to the City of David, King David praised God by leaping and whirling before the Lord without withholding himself from praising God in the face of all.
Praising God with understanding will stop every hand of enemies.
An acclaimed believer with an understanding of constant praise for God will take a position not to be a victim of the enemy that confronts them daily. Through the Bible, many wars were fought and won just by praising God.
God is worthy of your praise continually!
Joshua and the Israelites praised God with understanding, and gained a way by falling flat on the wall of hindrance (Jericho) for the breakthrough of the Israelites.
God is worthy of constant praise at all times and in all situations.
Above all, God is the only GOD who inhabits eternity.
With understanding, be full, to praise God consistently.

Prayer for today: Ask that God enable you with a heart that makes praising Him your way of life.

BE HUMBLED

FAITH CAPSULE: Live life humbly, not to become a victim of a wicked world.

2 Chronicles 7

Humility is freedom from pride or arrogance.
Proverbs 11:2 warns, “When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom.
One with humility is bound to run the race of life without becoming a vessel of faith failure.
Know God, be humble, and do not become a vessel of faith failure.
Are you humble?
God oversees the affairs of all in the journey of life.
James 4:10 testifies that God pays attention to humble ones, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
One who is humble is meek.
The Bible identifies the meek ones:
Psalm 37:11, “But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”
Matthew 5:5, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. “
God is consistent and committed to His promise as 2 Chronicles 7:14 records the promise of God for humble ones, “…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Are you humble and gracious in your way of life?
With the desire, will you give yourself to become humble, to claim the promises of God over the life of one who is humble?
Have the desire to be humble in this challenging trouble and not become a vessel of faith failure?
Philippians 2:3-8 identifies several ways to be humble, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
The way to live life for the glory of God is to be a humble one.
Jesus, our Lord and Savior, humbled Himself and was obedient to the point of death on the cross.
What stops you from being humbled and living life for the glory of God?
Numbers in the Bible were humbled to walk with God.
Paul was humbled.
Moses was humbled, Numbers 12:3 testifies, “Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.”
Make it your way of life to be humbled, keeping eyes on God, and not become a victim of faith failure in this challenging trouble of today.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to become humble before Him.

BE CEASELESS

FAITH CAPSULE: Make it a way of life, giving thanks to God.

Exodus 14

Claim and confess to receive in the Word of God.
The word of God is God. (John 1:1)
Psalm 75:1 records, “We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks!
For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.”
Know Him to be ceaseless in giving God thanks.
What do one need to get it right that the word of God is God?
His word is His work.
He created all by speaking His word to creation.
Time belongs to Him alone.
God alone is to be thankful for, a righteous judge is in His time.
Do you know what it means to work the works of God?
John 6:28 records, “Then they said to Him, ‘What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
John 6:29 states, “Jesus answered and said to them, ‘This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
The word of God is God to live life by His word.
The Word of God does not expire.
The Word of God does not contradict but is consistent in delivering.
The Word of God exists from generation to generation.
The Word of God does not fail, and there is never going to be a time for the Word of God to fail.
Above all, the Word of God accomplishes.
The book of Isaiah 55:11 testified, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
The Israelites were on their way out of bondage to the Promised Land, while the Red Sea positioned itself to fear and deny the Israelites the promise of God.
As a result of the Red Sea, fear rose as faith sank in the hearts of the Israelites. Moses responded with the word of encouragement as stated, “…do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”(Exodus 14:13-14)
The word of God is encouragement for the heart that grants the word entrance.
God gave His Word of salvation to the Israelites through Moses.
Are you unstable and clouded because of fear?
With faith and no fear, man shall see to receive deliverance and preservation in the Word of God.
Fear, distraction, inconsistency, and lack of commitment to serving the Lord are among the forces that will always deny a believer from standing still.
With the word of God, there is a way where there is no way.
Give entrance to the word of God to stand still.
The ability to see in the word of God delivers power to receive and become of the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to open the eyes of your heart and to see when He speaks to you.

THE RACE

FAITH CAPSULE: Run the race right, not wrongly.

Philippians 3

Standing firm in Christ is to know Christ.
The challenges of the world will drive one into the avenue of faith failure.
Keeping eyes on God testifies not to be a faith failure.
Know disallow faith failure.
How is your faith?
Jesus questioned the faith situation when He returns as stated, “…when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8)
Focusing on the Word of God is crucial, not to become a faith failure. Jesus prayed for Peter not to be a victim of challenging trouble that was going to move Peter into faith failure, “But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail (Luke 22:32)
The challenging trouble of today is bound to any believer when keeping eye on the low prize in the place of keeping eye on the highest prize in heaven.
How is your step, not to step into challenges?
Take note that living in life today is like a race.
The race engagement comes with prizes as engaged racing.
1 Corinthians 9:24 admonished us about race and it is prize stating, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.”
2 Timothy 4:7 records, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Paul identified what it takes not to be moved out of faith into failure as stated in Acts 20:24, “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
Like Paul, it is possible to disallow any challenging trouble.
Challenging will derail.
One is on the right track in the race of life when consistently denying challenge.
Without doubt, keep your eyes on God always.
Keep an eye on God by:
Stand firm in Christ
Standing firm in Christ is to know Christ and know how to come out of ignorance about knowing.
Standing firm is knowing that Jesus is coming back.
Standing firm should be directly related to where to sit and how to walk in this wicked world.
Paul said it all in Philippians 3:20-21, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body…”
Know Christ in the midst of the challenging trouble of today; give self entirely to the Word of God.
God does not ask for what is not doable.
We are to do His word and not be a vessel of faith failure.

Prayer for today: Ask God for the grace not to be a faith failure.
