BE ENCOURAGED

FAITH CAPSULE: The face of God is what all need to encounter.

Psalm 121, Isaiah 45:14-25

Encouragement is in the word of God for the expectation of manifestation.
In the testimonies of the Psalmist, there is documentation for any believer to look up to God for manifestation.
The Psalmist testifies in Psalm 121:1-2, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD Who made heaven and earth.”
Where do you look up to in times of any need for help?
Are you looking up because others lookup?
Looking up outside of the intervention of God is committing to the world.
John 2:24 encourages by not committed to anyone “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them because He knew all men,”
Do you consciously lift your eyes to the hills instead of looking up to God?
The deliberate and conscious act is a demonstration of understanding. Understanding what is activated is what produces results.
Do you know what to get when you look to the high place, the enthroned of God?
In looking up, there should be an expectation to connect with the presence of God, the face of God. Psalm 34:5 states, “They looked up unto Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.”
An encounter with the face of God will bring all that one needs to travel along the path of life without any agent of the wicked terminating such a journey to the expected end.
John 3:31 records, “He who comes from above is above all…”
Why not look above?
There is only one God, and He is the One that is above all.
The Word of God encourages, “Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.”
Why not look up to God?
Looking up to God is a meaningful approach to gain manifestation for expectation.
Jacob was with consciousness with expectation for manifestation.
Jacob, while on his way after moving from Laban, wrestled with an angel, and he gave the testimony of his encounter in Genesis 32:30, “So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”
Jacob had an encounter face-to-face with God, the testimony to their experience preservation.
The face of God is what all need to encounter in the life journey.
An encounter with the face of God will carry one through, and such will pass over every force in life.
Paul the Apostle prayed in 2 Timothy 4:18, “And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!
Every journey demands not to take eyes away from looking up to God.

Prayer for today: O Lord my God, I ask for strength that enables one not to look anywhere else but only at you.

THE CALLED ONE

FAITH CAPSULE: No challenge under heaven can stop the called one.

Genesis 31

Is your move in response to the calling of God?
One answering to the calling of God cannot become a victim of evil assignment.
Answering to the calling of God shall not fail when obedient.
Whenever God calls one for His assignment, no curse can deny one. When God moves the called one, no man can remove such.
When God delivers, no man can deny such.
Did God call you, or did you call yourself?
If God did not call you, you are on yourself.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 states, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
Regardless of any situation, when God says go, no challenge under heaven can stop the called one.
After Jacob cheated Esau with his blessing, Isaac sent Jacob away from the threat of Esau. “So Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Padan Aram, to Laban the son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, the mother of Jacob and Esau.” (Genesis 28:5)
At Laban, Jacob married two of the daughters of Laban.
Despite having two daughters (Rachel and Leah) as his wives and having made all his wealth from working for Laban, Jacob did not inform nor bid farewell to Laban the Syrian at the time of his move.
God called Jacob to move to his family.
God called Jacob.
Genesis 31:3 records, “Then the LORD said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I will be with you.”
God called the return of Jacob, and the relationship between Jacob and Laban was no longer favorable.
After Jacob had left, Laban went after him with bad intentions because Rachel stole the household idol.
God appeared to Laban in a dream and cautioned him not to go against Jacob.
As a result, when he caught up with Jacob, he stated, “It is in my power to do you harm, but the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, ‘Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.’”(Genesis 31:29)
Whenever God commands your going or your return, there will be no power under heaven to deny answering the calling of God.
Also, there will be no power capable of hurting one in the journey the Lord has placed in the life of such.
God called Jacob to return, and Laban was not in a position to operate against the command of God.
Laban was powerless because the power of God was in position.
Concerning Jacob, Laban was powerless.
Did God call you out?
Is your move in response to the calling of God?
Do not move by your understanding.
God is not a man that He should falter in His word.
What God says He will do is a done deal.

Prayer for today: Ask God in your going and coming that no agent of the wicked shall prevail against you.

ENGAGE HIS WORD

FAITH CAPSULE: Engage the word of God continually.

Psalm 91

God is not a careless talker.
The word of God is true and does not return to Him void. (Isaiah 55:11)
The word of God is God, one that dwells and abides in the word of God and finds God not to be a victim of this wicked world.
Know to dwell and abide in God.
God is not a slave master but a saving master.
Psalm 91 admonishes all, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
The word of God is the secret of God, open to one who searches, studies, and stands in His word.
Reading or quoting the word of God and not spending time to study the word of God is like dwelling but not abiding by the word of God.
It is the same as hearing but not living life by the word of God by running in and running out of the secret of God is not staying (dwelling) in God.
The word of God is the secret of God that does not hide for one that will seek God in His word. (Isaiah 45:19)
The word of God is His statutes and judgments.
Know to act according to the word of God, and be careful to observe them, for this is your wisdom and understanding. (Deuteronomy 4:5-6)
The word of God is the presence of God, give yourself to the word and not become a victim of the word.
Give yourself to the word of God, the presence of God that is the secret of God.
In this wicked world, gain and retain the presence of God.
Retain His presence, to live life as an overcomer to the glory of God.
PRAYER
Ask that God enable you to gain and understand His word to dwell and abide in it.
Ask that the rest and peace of God shall become your portion continually.
Ask that the presence of God shall answer to you as His
shield and buckler.
Ask that His presence shall take over your life.
The pestilence of the darkness shall not come your way,
the pestilence that walks in the noonday shall not come near you in going, and in your coming in life in the name of Jesus.
Dwelling and abiding in the presence of God shall know the way of God to become exposed to the peace of God.
It is what you ask for that God will give as He speaks to all in Isaiah 45:11“Thus says the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.”
You, as the work of His hands, are qualified to command Him (to ask Him) for the peace of God.
To gain the PERFECT peace of God is to have MIND STAYED ON GOD
OR TRUSTS IN GOD.
PRAYER
Ask that God enable you to have a mind that stays on Him.

DO NOT!

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not complain, but count on the doings of God.

Numbers 14

Can you count and see your blessings before God?
Make it a way of life to thank God for all He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do.
Thanking God is praising God.
Psalm 150:6 admonishes, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
One who gives thanks, blessing the name of God, takes a position to be blessed by God.
Proverbs 10:22 confirms, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.”
Take a position of acknowledging God for all that comes your way.
Consciously or unconsciously, are you counting the blessings of God over your life or complaining?
Counting the blessings of God in life is praising Him for what He has done to provoke more of His doing.
Do not complain, but count on the doings of God.
Complaining will complicate any life journey.
Regardless of challenges, see it in the word of God that the Lord God is more than able to see you through.
Psalm 34:19 records, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
God is abundantly able and should not be complained against.
It is not how long your challenge persists but how far God has brought you that counts.
Give up complaining and turn to compliment God for all He has done, all He is doing, and all He will do.
Complaining does not settle well before God.
Complaining is sin, and God does not overlook sin but forgives in response to repentance.
God did not overlook the complaint of the children of Israel against Him. Assuredly, your complaint against God shall get His attention.
The complaint of the Israelites turned the journey of eleven days into the journey of forty years.
The complaints of the Israelites caused them to wander in the wilderness when they were supposed to be a wonder to their world.
One that sees the wonders of God in the word of God will exploit to the glory of God.
The time of the year is not evidence that the visitation for your breakthrough has expired.
Have you been complaining in any way which you have taken?
The Israelites took to the way of wilderness that was supposed to be a passage for them to pass through, but they ended up living in the wilderness journey.
The complaining of the generation that came out of Egypt caused them to live by the wilderness journey.
The book of Numbers 14:22-23 documented, “Because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.”
Stop complaining and start counting the blessings of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to deliver you from the complaint and constantly count His blessing.

NO TO FOOLISHNESS

FAITH CAPSULE: It is foolish not to know God.

Hebrews 11

It is a must to know God.
Know that it is not enough to know about God.
Listen and look around to confirm that the work of God is God.
The evidence of God is the work of God.
The word of God is God, and He created all by His word.
It is foolish not to know God.
There is no excuse for not knowing God.
To know about God but not know God is living incomplete, not knowing the purpose of living.
Get to know God!
Jesus questioned and answered why lack of understanding, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
It is not possible to understand what or who you do not know.
Also, what you do not understand will not work for you.
The world is too busy for themselves and with no attention to God.
One who gives attention to God will listen.
Listening is to know God for who He is.
He is a good God, the One that reverses irreversible.
He is an unchanging changer.
Forgetting attributes of God:
To forget God and not think about Him will not know God.
Deuteronomy 4:5-6 buttresses, “Surely, I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. 6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding…”
One, not giving oneself to know God, not about, will not pay attention to understanding the attributes of God enough.
Truth is not appealing:
Truth is not popular and is not acceptable to the world.
It is not possible to know what is not accepted.
John 8:45-47 records the word of Jesus, which speaks the truth about not knowing God, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
One who does not accept the truth to believe does not know God that is true.
You must know God to come out of the religion of this wicked world.
To know God is rooted in the living word of God, written for understanding for those who study the word of God.
It is costly to study and know God.
You must know God.
One who knows about God does not know God.
One who knows about God is not enough to excuse themself before God to escape the consequences.
Know God, and come out of religion to live life for the glory of God.
You must know God the truth to know and be free.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to know Him more.
