LIVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Desire to live according to the word of God.

Daniel 1

One who lives by the word of God is living according to the word of God.
Joshua 1:8 identifies what it takes to do according to the word of God, record: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Living according to the word of God is the character of obedience.
Obedience to the word of God is the evidence of having the fear of God.
One with the fear of God lives for God.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 encourages all, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
One who fears God to keep His word lives by the word of God.
It is not determination but the desire and prayer to live according to the word of God.
Every command to live according to the word of God is doable; otherwise, God would not expect all to live according to His word.
Have the desire to live according to the word of God.
All should know that God created all to exist for His glory.
Revelation 4:11 states, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
The desire for all should be to live for God.
Live life by the word of God, become exposed to the mercy of God and gain and retain His presence.
Numbers 14:18 records, “The Lord is long-suffering and abundant in mercy…”
A man runs out of the mercy of God, but God does not run out of His mercy.
One who does not live by the word of God and expects to gain and retain the presence of God is an error.
The goodness of God is abundant and sufficient but never becomes insufficient for those who live life by His word.
Continually live life according to the word of God to gain and retain His presence.
Ask to be enabled to live life by the word of God.
One who lives by the word of God is with the character of looking up to God.
Look up to God alone.
Seeking God is the character of one who cares to look up to God.
God looks upon His children with action and no delay.
Psalm 14:2 testifies, “The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.”
With understanding, look up to God, seeking God diligently to find Him, the character of living for God.
What are you living for besides God?
Remember, God alone oversees the affairs of God.
Make a choice, and turn right to God.
Live according to the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you be enabled to live life for God.

PRAY TO LIVE ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD

One who lives by the word of God is living according to the word of God.
Joshua 1:8 identifies what it takes to do according to the word of God, record: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Numbers 14:18 records, “The Lord is long-suffering and abundant in mercy…”

Psalm 14:2 testifies, “The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.”
With understanding, look up to God, seeking God diligently to find Him, the character of living for God.
Obedience without failure is evidence to live according to the word of God.
One that lives for God does not withhold against the word of God.
Abraham demonstrated the confirmation of his faith that he did not withhold against the command of God for the burnt offering of his only son, Isaac.
Genesis 22:2 records the word of God to Abraham, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
Abraham responded to the command of God but did not withhold himself.
Without questioning God, he went further with an attempt to carry out the burnt offering.
The Angel of the Lord called out on Abraham, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.” (Genesis 22:12)
Abraham had faith that was rooted in his fear of God, not to withhold against God.
Abraham lived according to the word of God.
Daniel was a young slave of Judah captured by Nebuchadnezzar.
As a young slave, his name changed to Belteshazzar, but his heart stood for God.
Daniel proposed his heart not to defile himself, the character of living for God.
Daniel 1:8 records, “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”
God was the first for Daniel, not his life.
Daniel lived a life of prayer.
When he was to die in the den of lions, his life for God stood for him.
Daniel 6:10 records of Daniel, “Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”
Daniel lived life for God as he excelled to the glory of God.
As a believer of God who does not owe no one but has given all for all, why not choose to live according to the word of God?
Pray for knowledge and the strength of God to live according to the word of God for His glory.

ALL SHOULD KNOW

FAITH CAPSULE: The enemy is in the business of disrupting the flow of any good doing.

Joshua 1

The process of the journey demands the preparation to excel for the glory of God.
In the life journey, the enemy is always on track to deny one, not to arrive at an expected end.
The enemy is stubborn not to give up a wicked agenda.
Devil is the master of wickedness and was stubbornly wicked in his attempt at Jesus.
Jesus, the time of coming out of His forty days of fast, the devil repeatedly tempted Him but failed.
The book of Luke 4:13 records, “Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.”
The devil promised not to give up but will always seek another time to activate its wickedness.
Have you accepted Jesus?
Accepting Christ is not an indication that one is free from experiencing temptation.
Under Heaven, temptation or sin will not go away as long as the devil is around.
The Israelites had the word of God to bring them to the promised land that flows with milk and honey land.
Despite the promise of God in place for the Israelites, there was a warning not to fail.
Leviticus 18:1-5 records, Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the LORD your God. According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances. You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does, he shall live by them: I am the LORD.”
God sees the future.
God pointed out He was bringing the children of Israel out of bondage (Egypt), a land of sin, and taking them to Canaan, a land of opportunity.
One coming out of the land of sin and going into the promise of God is a great grace.
For the Israelites, coming out of Egypt to Canaan is the process and preparation for provision.
The process of the journey is what will prepare everyone for the provision of God.
All should know that the enemy is in the business with disruption of preparation to possess the promise of God.
Adapting to meditating on the word of God, as stated in the book of Joshua chapter eight, is the way of observing the word of God.
Meditate on the word of God day and night to be observing the word of God day and night.

Prayer for today: Ask that the word of God become established in your life for His deliverance and preservation over your life.

FAITH CAPSULE: Does this speak to you?

Job 1, 2

The Bible describes Job, “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.” (Job 1:1)
One with the fear of God is complete before God.
The story of Job testifies to one with the fear of God, experiencing the wicked hand.
Despite the faithfulness of Job, he was exposed to the attack of Satan but could not become terminated.
He lost all his wealth; Satan attacked his health; Satan attacked his character; Job lost His property and children.
Above all, his wife and friends ridiculed his faith.
In it all, Job remained persistently faithful and did not despise God.
Job experienced brokenness in all areas of his life, but his breakthrough was intact when God responded to his faithfulness.
Job 42:12-15 records the response of God to the faithfulness of Job, “Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yokes of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch. In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job, and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.”
In the brokenness of Job, God upholds him for his breakthrough.
In life, to be broken comes before a breakthrough.
To be broken comes to the glory of the Almighty God.
Fear God, walk consistently, and be relevant in line with the word of God.
Are you with the experience of overnight changes; you are down, friends can no longer help, and desertion is showing their faces everywhere you turn?
You can hardly count on anyone for help, while it seems you are the only Christian experiencing out-of-place.
All that surrounds you is beginning to wonder how long you will endure what you are going through.
Complaint, discouragement, or self-destruction is not what you need.
You need to know that God will see you through if you keep seeing through with the mirror of the word of God.
God has a plan for you.
Isaiah 63:14 buttresses, “As a beast goes down into the valley, and the spirit of the LORD causes him to rest, so You lead your people, to make yourself a glorious name.”
The point here is that God constantly wants to be glorified and make Himself a glorious name.
When your breakthrough arrives, the glory of God shall be your mark.
Job is a testimony.
God will see you through and know that you are not alone.

Prayer for today: Ask God, “O Lord my God, look upon me and let me not live a life of failure, in the name of Jesus.

ENGAGE HIS CALLING

FAITH CAPSULE: It is with envy for the world when engaged in the calling of God, for the glory of God.

Psalm 8, Jeremiah 32:26-44

No man called Jesus.
Answering the calling of God and living by direction in His calling is to the glory of God.
Jesus called His disciple, “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.” (Matthew 10:1)
God called all for glory, not for shame.
Romans 8:28-29 testifies, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
All belong to God, predestinated to live a glorious life.
God knows what He is doing and what He wants for all when he states, “They shall be My people, and I will be their God; 39 then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from doing them good, but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.” (Jeremiah 32:28-40)
God calls all out of His goodness and lovingkindness.
He is mindful of all; He crowns all with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:4-5) Unfortunately, by lack of knowledge, the majority does not know the blessings of His calling.
Psalm 49:20 buttresses, “A man who is in honor yet does not understand is like the beasts that perish.”
God calls all for a glorious destiny.
Every child of God has to engage in a glorious destiny.
The journey of glorious destiny departs from iniquity and secures its destination.
Glorious destiny has its foundation in righteousness.
In righteousness, there is the blessing of the Lord, and the Lord’s favors surround the righteous as a shield. (Psalm 5:12)
Do you know what it takes to engage destiny?
Walking in righteousness is all that it takes to engage in the delivery of glorious destiny.
Among what it takes to walk in His righteousness is by keeping association with the fear of God.
In life, everyone that moves you away from God is an enemy.
What is attempting to remove you from God?
Who is that agent of evil?
Take note communication corrupts good manners.
Do not commit to the word of life; commit to the life of prayer and watching.
Believe that it is possible to walk in righteousness.
If not walked in righteousness, the word of God would not have asked for such.
One that does not believe, such does not become of not believe.
2 Corinthians 5:21 states, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Believe that our righteousness in Jesus is our glorious destiny.

Prayer for today: Ask for understanding and not miss your portion in God.
