KNOW ABOUT?

FAITH CAPSULE: Many know about the truth but are not free.

Matthew 7

Many know about the truth but are not free.
One who knows the truth is free.
Do you know about or know the truth?
The truth of God is the assurance to wait on God without regret.
One with the truth of God is on the side of the word of God that does not fail.
Jesus is the truth of God that never fails. (John 14:6)
Are you a believer in the word of God?
John 8:31-32 states, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Abiding in the word of God is possible when there is knowledge of the truth of God.
Knowledge is the application of wisdom.
Understanding is paying attention to wisdom because wisdom is instruction.
Jesus wants all to know the truth that will make free possible.
Waiting on God will know the truth.
What is it about waiting on God?
Waiting is not fun when there is no knowledge of the truth about waiting.
The time of challenges demands to remain calm until expectation becomes manifested.
Waiting on God can deliver answers such as yes, no, or to wait.
With knowledge of the truth, it is understanding to ask, seek, and knock for the intervention of God.
It is true to ask, seek, and knock to gain the attention of God.
God will always act for those who wait on Him with knowledge of the truth. Isaiah 64:4-5 testifies, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear; nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him. You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways…”
Isaiah 64:5 identifies three ways of truth that will provoke God for one that waits on Him:
God meets with one who rejoices.
God meets with one that does righteousness.
God meets with those who remember His ways.
Apostle Paul knows the truth of waiting and having God act when he repeatedly encourages rejoicing in the Lord. (Philippians 4:4)
The truth is to be awake, do right, not sin.
The word of God is truthful for one who engages it to become free, not to be a victim of a wicked world.
The word of God encourages all to remind Him concerning the work of His hand. (Isaiah 43:26)
The word of God is not just a story but a secret that will deliver the answer to a believer.
A believer with knowledge of the truth of the word of God will know to wait on God with expectation without frustration.
Get knowledge and know that God acts for the one who waits for Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God to be open to the truth of God.

IT IS NOT A PARADE

FAITH CAPSULE: Prayer is not a parade to impress anyone.

Psalm 141

Watching and praying is asking, seeking, and knocking to call on God.
Prayer is a labor and is not for one with the spirit of laziness.
The prayer of Jesus in the garden demonstrates that prayer is a labor God cannot ignore.
Luke 22:44 identifies the labor prayer of Jesus, “And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”
Engage prayer with labor as a way of life in this wicked world to be saved.
Give yourself to prayer.
Prayer is the master key to assessing and receiving from God.
With understanding, prayer is not an assumption but to ask, seek, or knock. Matthew 7:7 records, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
To ask or think is praying to receive: Ephesians 3:20 records, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
Before God, ask with action rooted in faith for God to see and not deny an answer.
To seek is to watch and not miss when God answers.
Knocking persistently for an open door will not deny the prayer as the master key to open or lock.
Watching and praying is asking, seeking, and knocking to call on God.
Pray with understanding to gain an edge in challenges.
Understanding is to find God. Psalm 47:7 denotes, “For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.”
The word of God demands singing praises with understanding, so praying before and other ways of seeking God.
With a prayer of understanding, God does not ignore.
With prayer, one cannot be quiet to become victorious.
Prayer is action.
The evidence of understanding and knowledge of God will gained before God.
1 Samuel 2:3 admonishes, “For the Lord is the God of knowledge; And by Him, actions are weighed.”
Let your prayer be an action that carries weights before God that will provoke God to incline His ear to your prayer.
A prayer that carries weight before God is not blown as with no weight away from the presence of God by any force of wicked.
How is your prayer life?
Are you praying to God from the head or heart?
Is your prayer rooted in the word of God or the word of your head?
Is your prayer at your convenience and without commitment before God?
Apostle Paul identifies the importance of how prayer should be to gain the attention of God, as he states in Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
Let praying before God become your priority as your way of life.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to always watch in your prayer.

TO KNOW GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Get to know God, continually wait on Him to walk in Him.

2 Corinthians 5

The character of one who gives self to the word walk in Him.
Acts 6:4 states, “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
Walking with God shall be committed to God to be built for God.
Acts 20:32 records, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”
Jude 20-21, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
Giving yourself to the word of God is to become built to retain walking with God.
With no exception, all should continually but not casually give themselves to the word of God.
Walk with God by praying the word of God, which is the power of God for direction not to fall.
Are you walking with God?
Proverbs 6:22 records the experience for one who walks with God, “When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you.”
Are you an acclaimed believer of God?
Search yourself to identify your walk with God.
In your walk, maintain yourself with God.
God is a good God who waits to act for those who wait on Him.
Give self to God continually.
One that gives self to the word of God is walking with God.
Are you waiting for God to be able to walk with Him?
One who waits for God, walking with God, is bound to be on the right track, walking right before God.
The word of God encourages all that good things will not become withheld From those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11)
As an acclaimed believer, how are you walking?
Is it your desire to walk with, before, and in Him?
Know that walking with God demands seeking God diligently to gain and retain the presence of God.
Walking with God will know God continually keeping track of the line of the word of God, not compromising the word of God.
Walking with God is the character of one who knows God, not just knows about God.
Walking with God demonstrates love for God by way of living life.
To know God starts by listening to the word of God.
With listening to the word of God comes understanding God.
The word of Jesus testifies to the importance of listening to understand God.
John 8:43, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
To know God is listening to His word, to gain an understanding of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to know God and walk in Him.

IN HIS WAY

FAITH CAPSULE: One that serves God in His way will walk in Him.

Daniel 6

To serve God continually sets one to be delivered and preserved by God.
Walking with God, walking before God, or walking in Him demands faith in the word of God.
Have faith, living continually by the word of God.
One that serves God in His way will walk in Him.
With continuity, Joseph served God with faith.
God sees all walks of Joseph from the sin that no one sees.
Joseph, in his way, could not yield to the pressure of the wife of his master, who wanted to lay with him.
Genesis 39:8-9 records, “But he refused and said to his master’s wife, “Look, my master does not know what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand. There is no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?”
Joseph did not engage in sin before God but walked with God.
Joseph testified his stand before God, “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God.”
Continuity should be a constant walk with God.
Daniel continually served God as his character when an unbeliever king recognized Daniel as serving the living God.
At the time of King Darius sentencing of Daniel to an untimely death in the den of lions, the king states: “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.” (Daniel 6:16)
The Bible documented the loss of the sleep of King Darius, waiting for the morning hour to check the demonstration of the faith of Daniel.
Daniel 6:19-20 records, “Then the king arose very early in the morning and went in haste to the den of lions. And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
King Darius, an unbeliever of God, recognized in Daniel living life for God consistently would not become a victim of the wicked world.
Daniel continually gives attention to God to gain deliverance and become preserved.
After all night for Daniel among hungry lions, he responded to the calling of King Darius: “O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths so that they have not hurt me because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” (Daniel 6:21-22)
For Daniel, serving God and waiting on God is walking in Him to provoke heaven to give him unfailing deliverance and preservation over his life.

Prayer for today: Ask that you shall live to serve God continually.

TITLE WITH NO TASK

FAITH CAPSULE: Answering the title with no task to engage is not of God.

Acts 19:11-41

Answering the title of your choice in the name of God, not of God, is self-deception.
Answering to the title with no task to engage is not of God.
Deceiving yourself or others is telling lies to manipulate the world.
Anyone answering to the assignment of God when God did not call one in His assignment is self-alone.
Did God call you in what you are doing?
Who is your caller?
1 Thessalonians 5:24 reminds all, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
Does the word of God speak to you?
Search yourself if you are on the assignment of the calling of God over your life.
Avoid living a life of waste!
The Bible records the story of Apostle Paul answering the calling of God, with the title as Apostle of God, healing the sick, and calling out the evil spirit in the life of many.
The Bible also records some Jewish exorcists who took it upon themselves to answer out of the calling of God.
Acts 19:11-17 records, “Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them, and the evil spirits went out of them. Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” Also, there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus, and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.”
Are you assuming a title or taking up an assignment not of God?
The written word of God is for learning to understand and know how to navigate this wicked world and live for the glory of God.
What is your title in the name of God?
Are you self-appointed or man-appointed Apostle, Prophet, or Pastor, parading as in answer to the calling of God?
You need no one to help you to deceive yourself.
Also, you will need no man to stop you from deceiving your world.
Stop yourself from deceiving your world.
Give yourself to the given task of God in your life, not just answering to the title.
Come out of religion and give yourself to the reality of Christ.
The judgment of God is not asleep but will come at His appointed time.
Live right, engage the tasks of God, and not give yourself to the assigned title to you by any man.
Your task will count before God, not your title.

Prayer for today: Ask to live life according to the calling of God.
