FAITH CAPSULE: This month, pray to be remembered by God.

Psalm 106

Psalmist prayed in Psalm 106:4-5, “Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people. Oh, visit me with Your salvation, That I may see the benefit of Your chosen ones, That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, That I may glory with Your inheritance.
Pray like the psalmist.
PRAYER TIME IS NOT A PLAYING TIME.
PRAYER GROUND IS NOT A GAMING GROUND.
Prayer time is with expectation for manifestation.
Prayer time is with the character of watching.
Jesus and the disciples repeatedly ask to watch and pray.
Mathew 26:41, Jesus said, “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”
Mark 13:33, “Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.”
Luke 21:36, “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
In Ephesians 6:18, the disciple states, “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”
1 Peter 4:7, “But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.”
Jesus or His disciple asks to pray without watching.
The majority pray without watching.
Watching is an open end.
Watching can be to hide when challenges call for.
Jesus attempted to be stoned or pushed from the mountain, but the Bible states He hid Himself.
Are you a believer who prays and does not watch?
I heard about a prayer team assembling to pray for rainfall when there was no rain.
In one of the prayer meetings, not watching was demonstrated.
When the prayer was over, the rain started, and no one watched (prepared) for rain.
The youngest one brought an umbrella to move forward under the rain.
Rain prayed for was not to stagnate but to gain motion.
Are you praying and not watching?
Are you an unbelieving believer not doing as the word of God requests?
Do you lack understanding and do not know?
Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge…”
Ask to be enabled to pray with understanding praying before God.
Ask against the spirit that marks one as an unbelieving believer.
God answers prayer. God answers with yes, no, or wait.
Know God and your character should be looking up to God.
Do not look up to God with one eye while the other is on the world.
Look up to God to gain the hand of God, which is deliverance and preservation.
Looking up to God is also the character of waiting on Him without a doubt.
God cares not to ignore waiting on Him. 
Isaiah 64:4 testifies God “…acts for the one who waits for Him.” 
Look up to God continually, acknowledge Him for all He has done, all He is doing, and all He will do.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to look up to Him for His hand to rest on you.

FAITH CAPSULE: The hand of God is deliverance.

Nehemiah 2

Pray that from this moment, you live by the established hand of God over your life.
In the last days of Jacob speaking into the life of his sons, he identified the greatness of the hand of God over Joseph.
Jacob said, “The archers have bitterly grieved him, Shot at him, and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong By the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob…” (Genesis 49:23-24)
The hand of God is great to deliver and preserve.
The hands of Joseph were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God.
Ask that your hand be strong by the hand of God that you become an overcomer in all you lay hands on from this hour.
ESTABLISHED HAND OF GOD OVER YOUR LIFE
When it was time for God to bring the Israelites out of the bondage of over four hundred years into His promise, “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand, he will let them go, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”
The HAND OF GOD is deliverance.
Pray from the depth of your heart that this new month, the hand of God shall locate you.
The same hand that delivered the Israelites from the bondage of over 400 years shall locate you to bring you out of every force holding you down consciously or unconsciously.
Ask that God, who is not partial, should extend His strong hand to locate you and bring you out of the bondage of stagnation over your life.
Ask that whatever holds you down not to live, for God shall lose its grip over your life.
Ask that any hand not of God stretched in your direction shall be withered permanently.
PRAY TO BEHOLD THE HAND OF GOD
The hand of God is to behold for deliverance unfailingly.
Joshua 4:24 records, “that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the Lord, that it is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever.”
Ask that from this moment, your life shall be evident to your world that the hand of God is mighty over you in all endeavors, in all your going and coming in the name of Jesus.
Ask that the fear of God that provokes carrying the hand of God shall become your portion.
Ask God to give you one heart and one soul to fear Him
THE HAND OF GOD IS ENCOURAGING
The hand of God is encouraging for one that receives His hand.
Ezra 7:28 testifies, “So I was encouraged, as the hand of the Lord my God was upon me.”
Nehemiah constantly testifies that the hand of God is upon him.
Nehemiah 2:18 records, “And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me.”
Ask that hand of God settle upon you as was established in the life of Ezra and Nehemiah.

Prayer for today: Ask that the settled hand of God upon you shall be encouraging you in the face of discouragement.

FAITH CAPSULE: Know and be committed to the word of God.

John 1

Who do you commit to?
One who is committed to the word of God commits to God.
One commits to the world and does not know what such is doing.
Jesus could not commit Himself to man. 
The Bible records, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24) 
Study instead of reading the word of God to learn.
Do not look over the word by committing yourself to the world. 
Working with someone in truth, with no deception, is your commitment to God that sees all.
LET THE WORD OF GOD BE YOUR MIRROR
The word of God is like a mirror.
As a daily routine, look into the mirror of God.
Identify what you will adhere to adjust your life for great exploits.
Allow the word of God to impact your perspective of life.
Daniel must have seen in Psalm 55:16-17, “As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon, I will pray and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.”  
Daniel adhered to praying three times a day and escaped death by Lion.
Daniel knelt on his knees three times that day, prayed, and thanked God, as was his custom since early days.” (Daniel 6:10)
See in the word of God and receive to escape the wicked world.
THE WORD OF GOD IS THE HEALING HEALER
God is a caring God that is not far from His creation.
Creation often takes the position of being far from God.
How far are you from God?
Life can be cumbersome with labor and discouragement that comes with pain.
Healing and deliverance will answer all kinds of pain.
The healing power of the word of God is encouraging.
Engage the word against the pain of the wicked world for healing and deliverance.
Psalm 107:20 encourages, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
The word of God is power yesterday, today, and forever.
Give yourself to the word of God that heals.
Ask to know the word of God that answers against the enemy that cannot be more powerful.
KEEP YOUR HEART DILIGENT
What is keeping you from studying to know God in His word?
The word of God is God. (John 1:1)
Know the word of God to keep your soul diligently.
Whatever keeps one from the word of God is the enemy harmful to the soul. 
Whatever engages the attention of one not to be meditating on God is exposed for injury to the soul.
Meditate on the word of God not to depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is of the word of God. (Joshua 1:8) 
Mind you, keep your soul diligently, meditating on the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to know the word of God as a way of life.

FAITH CAPSULE: Distraction is not of God but of the devil.

Genesis 11

Distraction is to deny.
Distraction is a silent derailer that comes as a diversion, interruption, disturbance, interference, obstruction, or hindrance.
When distraction has a place, it will delay or destroy an arrival at a divine assignment or destination in the life journey.
Distraction does have different ways of taking a position in the life journey.
Pay attention not to be a victim of distraction.
One answering as a believer is not an excuse not to be a victim of distraction.
Distraction is nothing but a weapon for the devil to destroy.
It is a prayer not to be a victim of distraction.
DIVERSION IS DISTRACTION
The story of Terah, the father of Abram, testifies as the victim of diversion (distraction)
Genesis 11: 31-32 records that Terah and his children “went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there. So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran.
Terah diverted his journey from Canaan to Haran until he was two hundred and five years old and died.
Terah is a victim of diversion, a silent distraction.
Ask that wherever distraction is militating against your life, you know and do not know to be permanently terminated.
Diversion is a distraction that derailed Terah not to arriving at his destination.
INTERRUPTION IS DISTRACTION
God had a plan for the life of Samson, but he was interrupted and failed to prepare for God.
Before the birth of Samson, the angel of God delivered the message of preparation to be engaged by Samson and the plan of God for his life to the mother of Samson.
Judges 13:5 records the message, “For behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.”
Samson was aware of the message of preparation for the plan of God.
Samson violated the command of God when his wife, Delilah, became an agent of interruption.
Samson was strong enough to deliver his people by not cutting his hair.
Judges 16:16-17 documents how Delilah interrupted the plan of God over the life of Samson, “when she pestered him daily with her words and pressed him, so that his soul was vexed to death, 17 that he told her all his heart, and said to her, “No razor has ever come upon my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will leave me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.”
Samson revealed the secret of his strength to his wife, and the strength in him departed.
Delila interrupted Samson as an agent of distraction.
Samson became a victim of distraction.
