LIVE FOR GOD Part 2 (Continued from May 1)

FAITH CAPSULE: Have the desire to live for God.

Psalm 27, Ecclesiastes 12

Is it your desire to live for God?
To fear God will live for God to excel for His glory.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 states, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.”
Are you serving God in fear?
Is it a lack of understanding that denies you not to fear God?
Understand and know to be serving God with fear.
Psalm 2:11 admonishes, “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.”
The evidence of a believer that claims the promise of God lives life to fear God.
Why not allow the fear of God to become your priority?
In your life journey, let the fear of God become your compass to arrive at the center of divine assignment.
Pray that the fear of God becomes established in your heart not to depart from God.
What kind of a believer are you?
Are you a believer not studying the word of God but only reading the Bible?
Are you one with quotes or claims to know the word but walks outside of the word of God?
What kind of a believer are you?
Are you with a title but no task to gain and retain the presence of God?
Seek God, not man.
Those who seek God with all their heart and soul seek God diligently to find Him and to live for Him.
To find God will live for God.
Deuteronomy 4:29 reports, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Always strive to be a believer that prevails.
Pray to live life by the word of God.
For you, know God to fear and obey God.
The majority fear God by the mouth, not by the depth of the heart, and living by the way of the world.
One with the title in the name of God, quoting the word of God, or making the place of worshipping God their home is not evidence of the fear of God.
Ask God to enable you to fear Him.
Jesus commanded all to ask, and God said, “I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever.” (Jeremiah 32:39)
God is not partial.
God will give to those who ask.
To fear God is evidence of obedience to the word of God.
Joseph testifies the reason to fear God, “…Do this and live, for I fear God.” (Genesis 42:18)
Pray for the desire to fear God.
King David, a man after the heart of God, states, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4)

Prayer for Today: You have asked God to give you a desire. Now ask that desire for Him be established in you, to seek Him and live for Him.

MAY 2024 FAITH MAIL

THE DESIRE TO LIVE FOR GOD

From this moment, let it be for you that you will live life for God.
One who lives for God will gain and retain the presence of God.
To be able to live for God is not just word of mouth but praying with desire.
Often, words are easier said than done.
Determination to execute living life for God can fail.
The determination of Peter not to deny Jesus as he promised Jesus failed him by denying Jesus three times.
A desire to live for God will provoke God to deposit what it takes not to fail before God.
Have the desire, not just determination, to live for God.
LIVE FOR God
Live for God, avoid the path of sin which destroys.
Follow the word of God to keep you off the path of sin.
One who follows the word of God does not despise God but takes a position to see God in His doing over faithful one.
Despising the word of God will set one for self-destruction. (Proverbs 13:13)
In life, one who despises the word of God will sink into sin.
With sin, one is not seeking God and will not see God.
Claiming seeking God but telling lies to deceive and manipulate is taking a position not to see God, to experience His visitation.
Does the word speak to you?
Pray not to live a life of sin.
Live for God more than ever before.
Seeking God in your chosen way is not living for God.
Attending a church building on your own time is not evidence of living for God.
Does that speak to you?
Day after day, being alive is the privilege of God, not your power.
Know that God alone is the giver of life, to live life for His glory. Revelations 4:11 confirms, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will, they exist and were created.”
Who or what are you living life for today?
Know that your existence is for God, the Creator.
Live for God and have no excuse not to live for the glory of God.
Pray that God will enable you to live life for His glory.
Is it your desire to live for God?
To fear God will live for God to excel for His glory.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 states, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.”

You have asked God to give you a desire.
Now ask that desire for God be established in you, to seek Him and live for Him.

LIVE IN HIM

FAITH CAPSULE: To be dwelling and abiding in Him.

Psalm 15

Dwelling and abiding in Him demands more than quoting the word.
The word of God declares, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). Knowing this scriptural verse and quoting it is not evidence that one is dwelling in the secret place of God or abiding under His shadow.
To be dwelling and abiding in Him demands more than quoting the word of God but to be constantly living the word of God.
Living the word of God is behaving His word.
The word of God demands that all be holy 1 Peter 1:15 “…He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
If living holy is not possible, the word of God would not have demand from all to live holy.
Are you living the word of God or constantly quoting the word from the head, not from the heart?
One that quotes from the heart, not by the mouth, shall live by the word of God.
One that quotes: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty,” is not the same as dwelling in the secret place of the Most High and abiding under His shadow.
Do you live by the word, or do you live to quote the word?
Many received the word as a story, not as a revealed secret that makes one dwell and abide in God.
WHERE IS THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH?
Psalm 25:14 – “The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.”
The commands of God and all that it takes to fear God are across the pages of the Bible.
However, the lifestyles of most people who claim to be readers of the word do not complement the commands and all that it takes to fear God.
Isaiah 45:19 states, “God have not spoken in secret…”
God has not spoken in secret, but most do not study to engage His secret and do not dwell in His secret by how they walk, stand, and sit.
How one walks, stands, or sits testifies to dwelling and abiding in Him.
Psalm 15 identifies the character of those who may dwell in the secret place of the Lord.
He who walks uprightly; he who works righteousness; he who speaks the truth in the heart; he who does not backbite with his tongue; and he who hates what God hates.
Do you desire to dwell and abide in the secret place of God?
Devote to your desire, and God will commit Himself by depositing in you your desire for Him.

Prayer for today: Ask for His word to have a place in your life.

See God in His word to become registered in you to live for God.
2 Timothy 2:15 speaks to all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. “
Reading the word of God will KNOW ABOUT God.
Studying will know God.
The word of God is God. (John1:1)
In studying, there will be hearing of God, to see God in His word.
Job testifies, “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees You.” (Job 42:5)
know God by His word, live obediently not to lose the rightful position in God, but to claim the promise for obedience.

Prayer for today: Ask for the strength of studying the word of God.

PRAYER

FAITH CAPSULE: Embrace praying and giving yourself to the Word of God.

Acts 12

Prayer is simply making a petition to God.
Faith is belief with trust and hope in God.
Faith is belief with trust and hope in God.
Payer and faith compromise each other.
Jesus demonstrated the need for prayer as the constant engagement and communication with God.
Faith is what pleases God.
Faith is the evidence of having faith.
Hebrews 11:6 confirms, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
One with prayer constantly is the character of remembering God for what He has done or doing in the life of such.
Isaiah 43:26 records the word of God, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; state your case, that you may be acquitted.”
The word of God encourages all to approach Him in prayer.
How is your prayer life? Are you a believer who always approaches God in prayer?
Challenges of this world in the past and today will respond to prayer.
Harassment, mockery, manipulation, and deception are among the representatives of the evil one.
Any agent that represents the evil one has the goal and agenda to steal, kill, and destroy.
Any of these evil agents will always show up because they are looking for whom to devour.
The agents have no limitation on whom to approach, but there is a limitation in operation where prayer prevails.
Once, harassment was accessible to James, the brother of John, and Peter, the disciples of Jesus. It is written, “Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword.” (Acts 12:1-2) Harassment, an agent of evil, struck in the church against one of the disciples of Jesus.
Inside or outside of the church, there will always be harassment, and if anyone engages in prayer and the word of God, you will no doubt become an over-comer.
The evil success in killing James prompted him to advance his mission towards Peter. Acts 12:3, “And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.”
After the death of James, Peter became eminent to the disciples.
Acts 12:5 records, “Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.” }
Church woke up to prayer on behalf of Peter, and the agenda of the enemy ceased.
In the journey of life, agents of evil demand the need for the church to be constantly awake and not wait till the evil one strikes.
How is your prayer life?
What about your prayer group?
Embrace praying and giving yourself to the Word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled with constant and consistent prayer.
