FAITH CAPSULE: One that submits to God in the face of turning the situation around, God will subdue on behalf of such. 

Exodus 20:1-21

All that the Lord God asks from all is to comply with His commands. 
God does not ask for more or less but complete obedience. 
He has set His standard in obedience to His word with no disobedience.
Jesus strongly and repeatedly emphasized hearing and obeying the word of God. 
His mother and brother sought Him, but He could not reach Him because of the crowd. 
The Bible records the response of Jesus, “But He answered and said to them, ‘My mother and My brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.’” (Luke 8:21) 
If there was any way to emphasize obeying the word of God, Jesus has presented it above and beyond. 
Despite that, obeying the words of God has been reduced to the minimum, and obeying His words continues to be the least among us who confess Christ as our Lord and Savior. 
The act of heart is wickedness. 
God is a merciful God.
The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind.
Just as power belongs unto God, mercy also belongs to God. 
God will move, and He will not fail to respond just as He did not look over the acts of disobedience of the children of Israel. 
God once said to the children of Israel in Jeremiah 2:19, “Your wickedness will correct you, and your backslidings will rebuke you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and the fear of Me is not in you, says the LORD of hosts.” 
What the children of Israel did that led them into captivity is what the church today is doing today. 
Know to serve God in deed and truth complete submission to God.
God gave the Ten Commandments to all, but not many dutifully complied with them. 
The mercy of God is obtainable when one fears God.
Do you fear God by mouth or by your heart?
A heart that is not mindful of God is not possible to have fear for God.
Psalm 103:17 records for learning, “But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him…” Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.” 
To fear God will undoubtedly gain the mercy of God.
One with the fear of God loves God, living by His word. 
With understanding, know to fear God so His mercy will reign and rule your life.
All that the Lord God asks from all is to comply with His commands. 
Give yourself to the word of God, live life with the fear of God, to experience His mercy.

Prayer for today: Give thanks to God for Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, the redeemer of man.

FAITH CAPSULE: This new season is a desire to gain the mercy of God.

Know to do well by giving all to God to gain and retain His incomparable mercy. 
Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, the mercy of God has been consistent to see you this far, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
The mercy of God means God is compassionate and kind.
The mercy of God is with forbearance that does not run out.
The mercy of God is His loyal love; it is the conventional love of the covenant-keeping God. 
Just as power belongs unto God, mercy also belongs to God. 
God cannot be intimidated or manipulated by any of His creations to receive His mercy.
The mercy of God is not attainable by the work but by walking with God. 
Romans 9:14-16 testifies, “…I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. So, then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”
The mercy of God is in place for all, and nothing under heaven can displace or deny one that God will visit.
With mercy, God led the children of Israel out of the bondage of over four hundred years. 
Exodus 15:13 records, “You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed…”  
Know to understand to live life to attain the mercy of God as the Bible records His word.
TO OBTAIN THE MERCY OF GOD:
Live by loving God.
Joseph, who loved God, reacted against the temptation of the wife of his master to experience the mercy of God as the Bible mentions, “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor…” (Genesis 39:21).
Joseph loves God to obtain the mercy of God.
Know to plead for His mercy.
The Psalmist had to plead for the mercy of God, “Have mercy on me, O LORD! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death.” (Psalm 9:13). 
Plead for mercy before God.
Know to trust God for His mercy.
The Psalmist declared, “But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation” (Psalm 13:5). 
God is merciful.
Ask for forgiveness to gain the mercy of God.
Psalm 86:5  states, “For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.” 
God is good and merciful for one with the understanding that calls on God. 
To do good gains the mercy of God.
Proverbs 14:22 confirms, “…but mercy and truth belong to those who devise good. 
What one sows and to fear God will gain His mercy.
Hosea 10:12 buttresses the word of God, “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy.” 
Above all, fear God to gain His mercy.
Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.” 
To fear God will provoke all to do to gain His mercy.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to gain the mercy of God.

FAITH CAPSULE: The mercy of God does not run out, but it is consistently available.

Psalm 136, Luke 9:10-17

Psalmist declared, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 118:1) 
The mercy of God is endless; He does not run out of mercy. 
Having a life is never on merit but by the mercy of God. 
Regardless of situation or location, it is the character of Jesus not to look away from His children and send them empty. 
The love of God is truth beyond the comprehension of all. 
His love is His grace, an endless mercy. 
The mercy of God does not run out, but it is consistently available.
Can it be imagined of Jesus, in a deserted place, to send away a multitude that had been thronging on Him all day because of lack? 
When Jesus was on the face of the earth, He did not send His own away empty, and He will not do it now. 
At a time, in a deserted area, the multitude was to be let go emptily. 
When Jesus knew, He reacted to the disciples, “…You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish unless we go and buy food for all these people.” (Luke 9:13) 
Jesus would not let them go empty because they went to seek Him. 
Jesus will not let anyone go to seek Him empty. 
The disciples were concerned because there was not enough to feed five thousand, but with Jesus, there is always more than enough to give out.
The disciples said to Jesus, “For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.” (Luke 9:14) 
Jesus knew there was a lack for the people, but the power to replace lack into abundance belongs to Him.
He commanded how the people should be seated, while provision was not yet visible in the physical. 
Are you one who is experiencing a deserted situation? 
Does your situation seem to be un-resolvable? 
Trust and hope to obey the direction for lack be converted to plenty.
The Bible records that the people sat down as He had commanded. 
The multitude sat down in obedience to His command with expectation.Luke 9:16-17 records, “Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.”  
He is not an empty God; He will not forsake you if His command is not forsaken. 
As a believer, taking a seat of obedience is the blessing of His goodness and mercy. 

Prayer for today: Ask that obedience to the word of God shall be your portion.

FAITH CAPSULE: Obedience to the word of God is an avenue for deliverance. 

Mark 10:46-52, John 2:1-12

Do the word of God not to be ashamed.
Doing what God says to you is behaving His word, the evidence of faith. 
The book of John 1:14-16 records, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’” And of His fullness, we have all received, and grace for grace.” (John 1:14-16) 
The word of God has the power to make and unmake. 
The same word that was in the beginning is still the same word that is today. 
To behave the word is to avert from shame.
With the word one will experience light in the place of darkness and get deliverance from sickness and disease.
Jesus gave the word of direction to deliver the wedding celebration from shame. 
The wedding was out of wine when the celebrant sought help from the mother of Jesus. 
After having approached Jesus, she warned the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5) 
Just as she warned, the servants did the same when Jesus gave word to them. 
In John 2:7-8, “Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.” 
By behaving His word, the wedding became restored to a glorious celebration. 
Concerning your marriage or any other area of life, hear to do His word.
The blind man Bartimaeus needed to hear and behave for him to receive sight. 
While Jesus was passing by, the blind man at the roadside recognized that Jesus was passing
by and reacted by crying out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:47) 
The cry of the blind man gains the attention of Jesus. 
Jesus responded, “What do you want Me to do for you? The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” (Mark 10: 51-52) God will always wait to act for those who wait on Him. 
He does not ignore the crying of His children. 
Jesus touched the blind man by His word, “…Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.” (Mark 10:52) 
All you do is give yourself to the word of God, move from stagnation into glorious motion, and behave according to what you have heard from God.
God is still speaking, and if man is going to behave His word, such gain the attention of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to know and to behave whatever He says.
