IT IS OBVIOUS!

FAITH CAPSULE: Obviously, the word of God is His way; His way is His presence.

Isaiah 55

To obey the presence of God is to obey the word of God.
Isaiah 55:11 records, “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
The word of God is God.
The way of God is in His word.
The way of God is His presence.
God is true to His word.
Psalmist testified the word of God, “…For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” (Psalm 138:2)
Moses, in His journey, asked God for His way, and God responded in His word saying “…My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14)
Obviously, the word of God is His way; His way is His presence.
When God speaks, none should disobey.
Obeying the word of God is what delivers the promises of God in His word.
However, turning away from the word of God that sounds in the direction of one is an act of disobedience that sets man up for self-destruction. Interestingly, the world is constantly violating the word of God consciously or unconsciously.
Violating the word of God is disobeying the word of God, which denies accessing the presence of God.
Are you in disobedience to the word of God?
Are you in the process of walking away from His presence?
There is no excuse to turn away from where God is turning one to. Walking in the word of God, which is His presence, does not result in pain but gain.
Jonah received the word of God but turned away from God to bring pain.
Jonah 1:2-3 records, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, ‘Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.”  But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so, he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.”
Jonah disobeyed God when he rose as commanded.
The rising was in disobedience to God.
Is your rising in the opposite direction to the word of God?
In the presence of God, there is deliverance and preservation in the journey of life.
God promised Moses rest in His presence.
Obey the word of God to let His presence take charge in your life.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live in the presence of God all the days He has given you.

GOD WILL DO!

FAITH CAPSULE: God is not partial to not attend to you.

Jeremiah 52

What is holding you down?
Get to know that no challenge can go on forever.
When God is about to deliver one who is tied down, none can deny God.
The world will not deny the timing of God.
What is holding you down?
Jehoiachin was in captivity for thirty-seven years when the hand of God that is not short raised the head of Jehoiachin and brought him out of captivity.
Jeremiah 52:31 records, Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.”
God used Evil-Merodach of Babylon, the son of Nebuchadnezzar, to lift the head of Jehoiachin.
The same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow will send His hand to locate you for your lifting.
God alone will change the position of the persecuted to become one presiding as persecutors.
Also, when God remembers, He rescues.
Believe in Him that your position of pain will change to receiving gain from God.
Evil-Merodach was in the hand of God to lift the head of Jehoiachin.
By the hand of God, through Evil-Merodach, Jehoiachin was rescued.
Jehoiachin had a chance as a prisoner to become one who ate before the King of Babylon for life.
Proverbs encourage all about the hand of God, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.” (Proverbs 21:1)
Believe that God is good to perform and to perfect His word.
The position of God in charge of possibility is not limited.
God is the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Believe God, do not believe man for your deliverance and preservation.
God alone sought out Daniel in the den of hungry lions.
With God is His unmeasurable possibility; he caused the lions not to have an appetite for fresh meat, but not able to feast on fresh meat in Daniel.
Prayerfully, are you waiting on God concerning your challenge that seems unmovable?
Concerning your challenge, persist, insist, and resist in your prayer.
Your challenge today is not the time to stop waiting on God in prayer.
Trust and hope in the God of possibility.
Above all, know that God is not a partial God.
Remind God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do.
Know to remind God, to reconnect with Him.
Isaiah 43:26 reminds all the character of God that is not partial in His doing, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.”
Remind God, who works possibility over impossibility.

Prayer for today: Ask for the hand of God to turn all your impossibilities into possibilities.

SERVE GOD CONSISTENTLY

FAITH CAPSULE: Consistency with no compromise serves God consistently.

Job 1, 2:1-10

Is your life of integrity before God?
To be identified by God or live life before God with integrity is not by walking wrongly before God.
To answer with integrity before God is not an empty mouth, but a mouth full of the word of God, backed with action that is rooted in the word of God.
Any walk that does not count before God is without integrity.
God identified Job as one full of the word of God by his walk before God as a believer.
Satan attempted to tempt Job, and his assault on Job was not enough to derail Job from walking with the Lord.
Is your life of integrity before God?
What is it that is against your walk before God?
From the first assault to the second, and throughout the whole life of Job, it was clear that Job was a man that does not deviate from his stand in the Lord.
In all challenges of Job, the consistency with no compromising was consistent, serving God.
Serving God with consistency is evidence of integrity before God.
The Bible describes Job as one like no other, with character, stating, “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.” (Job 1:1)
At a time of bad news, Job did not complain to God.  Job 1:20 records the response of Job, “Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped.”
As if the first assault was not enough, Satan attacked the second time with boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
After the first assault, God had testified about Job as a man who holds fast to his integrity (Job 1:3).
The wife of Job knew that he was a man of integrity as she attempted to unplug Job, stating, “…Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” (Job 1:9)
Job refused to fall for the statement that his wife used to attack his integrity.
Abiding in the word continually takes a position not to fall into the trap, to stand against God.
Living life before God with integrity is the way to recover from all the adversity of the enemy.
The documentation of Job was recorded in Job 42:12-17: “Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning…In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job… After this, Job lived one hundred and forty years and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. So Job died, old and full of days.”
God is faithful to one who is faithful to His name.
Job was faithful, could not fail, or falter as a victim of the vices of the enemy.

Prayer for God: With desire, ask to live the life of integrity before God.

PRAY FOR ENABLEMENT

FAITH CAPSULE: Pray for enablement to hear and see what the word says.

Jeremiah 1

God creates all to walk in His way.
Are you walking in the way of God, or walking the way of the world?
To live life for God demands walking in His way.
One who lives for the glory of God, walking by His way, will arrive at the center of the calling of God.
Consciously or unconsciously, are you walking in the way of God?
Do you know the way of God to enable you not to live against a life of waste?
Answering as a believer or as one with a title does not make one know the way of God.
At times, the called will ask for the way of God, or the called one will get the calling of God to know the way of God.
For example, Moses asked for the way of God to navigate the calling of God in his life.
Jeremiah received a calling from God for him to know the way of God for his life.
Knowing the way of God is to hear and see in the work of God.
Seeing is believing, the character of one with faith.
What one sees is what is received and becomes of such.
One who hears the word of direction is bound to see and know the way of God, not to fall or fail in the calling of God.
Moses, despite his experiences with God, has to ask God for direction, the way of God, for his life.
Moses asked God, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight…” (Exodus 33:12-13)
Using the word SEE, is an attempt to call for attention to hear and to see in the word of God.
Moses wanted to know the way of God for his calling assignment.
Just as Moses needed to know, and Jeremiah also needed to know when God called for attention.
The life of victory for Jeremiah was rooted in the word of God, which calls for him to see. Jeremiah 1:10 records, “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.”
One who listens with understanding will see the word of God to gain a knowing edge, an unfailing direction (way of God).
Jeremiah saw the way of God for his calling in the word of God.
To know the way of God is to listen and see in the word of God and receive, to live for the calling of God, not live a life of waste.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will live by the way of God, not to become a victim of the world.

DO YOU KNOW?

FAITH CAPSULE: Get to know who you are before God.

Jeremiah 12

Identify or define who you are before God, who knows you.
Who are you before God?
Jesus, our Lord and Savior, sought to answer in His question from His disciples, “Who do men say that I am?” (Mark 8:27)
The question by Jesus was not to evaluate Himself, but a lesson for all to be aware of who they are.
On a serious note, who are you?
Are you a believer, or an acclaimed believer that does not live by the word of God?
Many claim to be a believer but have a mouth full of the word of God, with no heart for the word of God. Such is the character of wicked as Jeremiah 12:1-2 identifies, with a question of faith before God, stating, “Righteous are You, O Lord, when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth, but far from their mind.”
Does the word speak of you?
Does your life before God contradict what the world calls you to be, by how you live life?
Are you a Bible that people can read, or an acclaimed Bible that is not readable to anyone?
The world is deceivable, but no one can deceive God.
Many get promotions with titles before the world, but with no promotion before God.
There are titles, but no task that counts before God.
Today, forget about your titles, live life for God, engaging in tasks that matter before God.
The individual should be able to answer the question as stated: “Who are you?”
Get to know who you are before God.
It is you before God that counts for you to the glory of God.
God cannot be deceived!
As the wickedness of the world is glaring to God, all should know not to live wicked before God.
Genesis 6:5 records the word of God, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
Who are you?
You are not everyone; before God, each will answer to who they are before God.
Without a doubt, the walk, the stand, and where one sits are pointers of who one is before God.
Who are you in all endeavors?
Psalm 1:1 records, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” (Psalm 1:1)
When the word of God declares blessing, it is established in heaven and on earth.
It is how one walks, sits, and stands that provokes the blessing of God.
Life is a journey.
Be conscious of who you surround yourself with, for it shall determine what you get out of life.

Prayer for today: Pray to not live outside of the word of God but by the way of God.
