FAITH CAPSULE: There are many reasons to pray before God.

Psalm 14

Have the understanding to exercise a knowing edge.
Two points to be encouraged are paying attention to and backed with prayer not to become a victim of ignorance in the wicked world.
Ignorance makes a destitute of a believer.
FOOLISHNESS OF A FOOL HAS CONSEQUENCES BEFORE GOD
Among ways of living wasted is living as foolish, consciously or unconsciously.
It is worthy to pray against not to live as foolish.
Living life outside of the word of God is ignoring God, the character of a foolish one.
Psalm 14:1-2 records, “The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good. The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.”
Action, thought, or communication outside of the word of God is evidence of foolishness. 
Pharaoh is an example of a blatant fool.
The actions and ways of Pharaoh in response to the Israelites ignored the message of God through Moses. 
God said, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness.” (Exodus 7:16)
Foolishly, Pharaoh ignored God to bury his people in the Red Sea.
Be wise, and live by the word of God. 
PRAYER
Ask God to take over your mind so as not to live foolishly.
Pray that in all your thoughts and actions, you will not entertain foolishness against the word of God.
Pray not to act foolishly (like Pharaoh acted against the Israelites) by denying the word of God in any way of life.
KNOW AND LIVE TO COMMIT TO GOD ALONE!
God alone is available for all to live a life of commitment to Him.
Looking away from God is not committed to God.
No one can engage one eye to the world and the other eye up to God in His word with the expectation to gain the presence of God.
Psalm 37:5 advises, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.” 
The wife of Lot looked away from God, an act of no commitment to God.
Lack of commitment to God is open to self-destruction.
The Bible records that Jesus did not exempt disciples and none He committed to.
John 2:24 warns, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them because He knew all men.” 
Know to walk along with man, but be committed to God alone.
PRAYER
Pray that your desire for the spirit of God, which enables commitment to God continually, shall be your way of life.
Ask that in all your looking up to God, distractions that lead to failure shall become your portion.
Ask not to be a victim of commitment to the evil world. 
Ask that this year, the leading of God over your life have a place in you so as not to become a victim of destruction like the wife of Lot.
God answers prayer. Open your mouth to pray from the depths of your heart.

FAITH CAPSULE: Make it a way of life, seeking God to find Him.

Exodus 3

Seeking God is the purpose of finding Him.
Seeking God demands seeking Him in His way, not seeking God in the way of such.
There is understanding in place for one to seek God and find Him.
Jeremiah 29:13 records, “And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
How the heart set for God will find Him.
Deuteronomy 4:29 states, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
When you seek God, make it a way of life, seeking God to find Him.
Seeking God will serve God.
Are you serving God to find Him or serving Him to impress your world?
God creates all to serve Him.
God is the only creator and wants to be glorified and honored.
Revelation 4:11 records, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
God is waiting for His creation to seek Him diligently, denying hindrances of the wicked world.
God is jealous that He wants nothing but for all to be free and serve Him.
What does it mean to serve God? 
To serve God demands all seek Him diligently and set their mind on things where God is above.
The book of Colossians 3:1-2 clearly states, “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Seeking God will come with the challenges of this world.
Among the reasons not to seek God diligently are:
-One that is yet to be dead in their trespasses will not rise to serve God.
-Inability to put off the body of the sins of the flesh.
-Setting the mind on worldly things more than things above will not serve God diligently.
There is no excuse for taking one’s mind off God’s things to avoid missing God’s presence.
Are you willing to serve God indeed and in truth?
Have you separated yourself from worldly things you once walked with as a way of life? 
The word requires all to put to death members on the earth, such as fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 
The members on earth will bring the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience. (Colossians 3:6-7)
The word also points directly for all to put off: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of our mouth, do not lie to one another. (Colossians 3:8-10)
Be renewed in knowledge according to the word of God. 
Serve God diligently to experience the power of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to serve Him and seek Him diligently.

FAITH CAPSULE: What God cannot do is: “God cannot fail.”

1 Samuel 13

God alone is available for all to live a life of commitment to Him.
Who do you commit to besides to God? 
Know to commit to no one but God.
Jesus selected few to walk with Him day and night.
The few elected to walk with Him is not evidence for Him to commit to anyone.
Jesus could not commit Himself to any man. 
The Bible records, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24) 
The documentation of the experience of Jesus is for all to learn.
It is possible to walk along with man but not commit is wise of God.
Are you studying instead of reading the word of God to learn?
Study the word of God.
Know Jesus. Do not commit to anyone but to Jesus alone.
God does not fail.
Be committed to God.
He does not fail, but man will fail.
God waits to act when we wait on His committed love and caring. 
Isaiah 64:4 testifies to God, “For since the beginning of the world, men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
God is enough to be committed. 
God alone is the Helping helper of man that has never failed. 
Looking for help from the wrong sources is evidence of limiting God for His loving care. 
Your help will not come from where you are looking, nor will it come from your thinking. 
King Saul became the King over the children of Israel. 
Saul was to fight the Philistines but could not wait for the Prophet of God to carry out the burnt offering. 
Samuel confronted Saul about the presentation of the burnt offering, “…What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.” (1 Samuel 13:11-12) 
Committing to man instead of meditating on the testimonies of the care of God will compel one to become a failure like King Saul.
Meditate on what God can do, what He has done, and what He is doing. God is enough to look up to in all areas of life. 
God alone has brought you this far, and He will not leave you, and He shall not forsake you.

Help from God is sure and unfailing for one who will be committed to God alone.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you not to commit to anyone but only to Him.

FAITH CAPSULE: The characters of God are in the message for good.

1 Corinthians 13

The message from God is for all to live by the word of God. 
If the acclaimed believers know God, darkness should not prevail over the world today.
Do you know or know about God?
Do you love the character of God?
Expecting the power of God where there is no love for God and not keeping to the word of God is self-deception. 
1 John 4:8 admonishes, “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 
The message from God is for all to live by the word of God.
Today, seek and give self to the message of God for all His creation.
1 John 1:5 records, “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declares to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.”  
God is light, and one that knows Him, not about knowing about will reflect Him. 
Love according to the word of God.
One that loves is with the character of God.
With that character of God is of light.
John 8:12 states, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Today, the darkness of wickedness is hoovering the whole world.
With self-sincerity, today, search yourself as David did in Psalm 139:23-24 stating, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” 
Search to know God by His word to identify the character of God.
Know God by keeping His commandments. 1 John 2:3-5 testifies, “Now by this, we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this, we know that we are in Him.”  
Get to know God, and live by His command.
Love for God should not be limited to the mouth or head but be demonstrated by walking in the word of God. 
1Corinthians 13:4-8 identifies, “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.”  
Having the desire to live by the character of God will take charge of your life.

Prayer for today: Ask that you live by the word of God and not be a victim of darkness.

FAITH CAPSULE: Before God, there is no half-obedience. 

Deuteronomy 28:1-14

With obedience to the word of God, such takes a position as having the password to claim the blessing of God.
Be obedient to the word of God and be exposed to the promises in the word of God.
Psalm 107:20 records God, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”  
The word of Jesus records, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) 
Indeed, Jesus, the living word of God, brought healing and deliverance that is evident in having life abundantly.
On every issue of life, one that walks His word, the word will work for such. 
The word of God is the power to deliver the blessing of God for one who will live life by the word of God.
Live a life of obedience before God.
Will you give life to live by the word of God?
The word of God comes with a blessing.
The word of God will not deliver a promise if there is a failure to obey. 
Obedience is the password to opening the door of blessing. 
The standard for obedience is unceasing and steady in obeying the word of God.
Before God, there is no half-obedience. 
Obeying the word of God will deliver such unnecessary, costly, and painful situations in the walk of life.
In life, many avenues lead to disobeying the word of God. 
Among many reasons for disobedience is pointed out in Nehemiah 9:17, “They refused to obey, and they were not mindful of Your wonders that You did among them. But they hardened their necks and in their rebellion…” 
The word of Nehemiah 9:17 refers to the children of Israel, but it also speaks to all today. 
The word of God identifies that disobedience is caused by not being mindful of the wonders of God.
One that lacks mindfulness of the wonders of God gives the mind to the hardness of the heart. 
The hardness of the heart will cause one not to live life by the word of God.
The word of God is a way to gain and retain His presence.
A hardened heart lacks belief that denies one the ability to gain the way.
Make it a way of life, live by the word of God, and not be a vessel of waste. 
The word of God is the source of faith, and when one does not believe in the word, having faith is not in place.
Are you a vessel with a hard of heart or a full-blown hardness of heart? 
Pray against having a hardened heart.
Have a desire for wisdom, knowledge, or understanding of the word of healing and deliverance. 
Take careful note the hardness of the heart is evidence of unbelief.

Prayer for today: Ask to obey fully before God as a way of life.
