FAITH CAPSULE: To wait on God can be persistent to experience the faithfulness of God. 

Matthew 7:1-12, Luke 18:1-8

To be persistent and seeking God for manifestation is not a sin before God.
God is faithful to fulfill according to His word.
Know God, not only know about God.
Manifestation of expectation yet to be is not the issue of how long of waiting but how far God has brought one.
Waiting on God can be long, but never too much to keep asking from God.
Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-9) 
God is not a talkative that wastes words. 
Whatever He says He will do is a done deal. 
The psalmist testifies to the word of God, “I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.” (Psalm 138:2) 
God honors His word for one that gives to His word.
The assurance of the word states: “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him? (Matthew 7:9-11)
Have you been asking and not been receiving from Him? 
One should not stop asking.
To stop asking demonstrates a lack of faith.
Do not stop asking in the place of expectation for manifestation.
In the parable, Jesus speaks to be persistent.
Jesus spoke, “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward, he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”  (Luke 18:2-5) 
Waiting on God with no manifestation is not too late to return to the prayer altar.
Be persistent and see that the Lord is faithful to fulfill according to His word. 
The parable of the persistent widow states, “…men always ought to pray and not lose heart…” 
In times of challenges, it is the time to keep an eye on God and not look away from His creation.
God has brought you this far.
In your expectation, present all to the Lord in prayer and see how the Lord will move with an answer. 

Prayer for today: Ask God to open your understanding for asking, seeking, and knocking before Him.

FAITH CAPSULE:Living as a foolish one is living a wasted life.

I Samuel 13

What do you say?
Do you communicate there is no God?
Those who say in the heart that there is no God are the ones who speak it from the mouth that there is no God. 
Jesus buttressed, “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.” (Matthew 12:34-35) 
It takes a foolish-minded one to take a position as a speaker for a forum that claims there is no God. 
Psalm 14:1 buttressed, “The fool has said in his heart that “there is no God” They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.” 
It is always evil to say there is no God. 
Are you one that says there is no God by your actions and not only by speaking it out of the mouth? 
Are you saying there is no God by your verbal communication or body language?
How do you relate with others, communicating that there is no God?
Psalm 14:1 identifies the foolish ones:
Those who are corrupt (Lack of honest practices such as bribery and lack of integrity)
Those who engage in wickedness (revolting and miserable work)
Those who do not do good (they are evil in approach)
Does any of the above sound like you?
As a believer, you cannot afford to live life foolishly. 
A believer should not answer to the wicked world as foolish do by the way of life. 
Proverbs 26:4 warned, “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him.” 
In this wicked world, every ungodly act that demands an answer from one must be with wisdom, not as foolish. 
Always live with a godly act to avoid being marked as foolish.
Foolishness is a sin, and sin does not stand before God.
Saul was foolish when he offered the burnt offering that did not belong to his office as a King but belonged to a priest. 
Saul could not wait for Samuel as commanded by Samuel. 
At the arrival of Samuel, Saul gave an excuse for the burnt offering as a result of the late arrival of Samuel. 
For Saul, the impending danger provoked his violation of the command of God (carrying out the burnt offering). 
Samuel responded to foolishness act of Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you.” (I Samuel 13:13) 
Regardless of any reasonable excuse, it is foolish to violate the command of God when responding to the challenges of the wicked world. 
There is no reasonable excuse to justify disobedience to the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled not to live outside of the command of God as a foolish one.

FAITH CAPSULE: The power that belongs to Jesus is the power over all creation. 

Matthew 8:1-13, Matthew 21:1-17

Questioning the authority (Jesus) where He gets His power is an absolute lack of knowledge.
Jesus is Lord! 
Honor belongs to Him; glory belongs to Him. 
Above all, authority (power) belongs to Him.
Psalm 62:11 records, “God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.” 
It is safe to say that authority is undeniable power. 
All authority is with Jesus. 
Jesus confirmed that all authority is with Him. 
Matthew 28:18 states that after His resurrection, He appeared to His disciples and said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” 
All authority is power. 
The power that belongs to Jesus is the power over all creation; it is the power to heal and to deliver; it is the power in His word and the authority that no man can deny.
The authority to cleanse all that is due for cleaning so that God may reign and rule in life belongs to Jesus.
The Bible records how He went to clean the temple at a point in His ministry. 
Jesus overturned the tables of the money.
He drove the changers and all buying and selling.
Jesus cleaned the temple by driving out all the irrelevancies, and He left. Matthew 21:23 states, “Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, ‘By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?’”
The priests and the elders realized there was an authority in place that was not deniable from delivering His agenda.
Jesus Christ is with authority. 
However, to be questioning authority (Jesus) where He gets His authority from is an absolute lack of knowledge.
Are you questioning His authority? 
While Jesus was here on the earth, the chief priests constantly questioned His authority. 
The Bible testifies that “He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes” (Matthew 7:29) 
The teaching of Jesus was with authority, and the majority are yet to recognize Him.
Today, many are still questioning His authority. 
Inside and outside of the Church, His authority is constantly questioned. Are you questioning His authority? 
The word of God says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” (Deuteronomy 6:5) 
Are you seeking God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength? 
A failure not to love God with all heart, soul, and strength is evidence of questioning His authority.
The word of God is not a talk active but the testimony of His demonstration yesterday, today, and tomorrow, evidence of power.
The authority is with power that is not questionable.

Prayer for today: Ask God that His authority will reign and rule your life all the days He has given you.

FAITH CAPSULE: Diligently seeking God will find God.

Luke 10:25-37

God is good.
The character of God is good, and He is not evil doing.
In the goodness of God is the creation of His hand.
At the time of creation, God repeatedly demonstrated His goodness.
For example, Genesis 1:3-4 records, “Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good…”
God alone is good.
Is it in you to know how to do good when a need calls for doing good? 
Jesus identified what it means to be a good one in the parable of the Good Samaritan. 
In the parable, a stranger from Samaritan saw another stranger from Jerusalem who fell among the thieves, was wounded, and stripped off his clothing. 
The Samaritan could not walk away from doing good as others before him did not do good but walked away, not engaging the stranger from Jerusalem.
The Samaritan spent his resources to do good for the stranger from Jerusalem as he received proper medical attention. 
Jesus, the compassionate savior, referred to the doing good of the Samaritan: “But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.” (Luke 10:33) 
Doing good is having compassion. 
Compassion is the heart of Jesus. 
It is good to be doing good as a way of life. 
James 4:17 encourages, “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.”  
Knowing to do good as a way of life cannot be emphasized enough. 
Think about this: if knowing to do good and not doing it is a sin, then learning to do good and doing it must be a blessing. 
Galatians 5:22 states doing good is also a fruit of the spirit, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” 
Many scriptural passages emphasize the importance of doing good. Romans 12:9, “…Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15, “See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.” 
2 Thessalonians 3:13, “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary in doing good.” 
Hebrews 13:16, “But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
As an acclaimed believer, become one that consciously allows your concern for doing good to be alive. 
Let your caring to do what is good be activated. 
Show concern for doing good and being active. 
To be concerned is from the heart, but to care is by action.
Action is faith, and faith is action that counts before God. 
Go ahead and act with care, knowing fully well that what you are doing is for the glory of God.
Gain the understanding that doing good glorifies God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to do good and not ignore when need to do good calls for it.

FAITH CAPSULE: Do not turn away from seeking God diligently.

Exodus 33

Seek God diligently to know Him.
Knowing God is knowing His way.
The way of God is in His word, His presence. 
Moses sought God diligently by asking for His way.
Moses requested from God, “Now therefore, I pray if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is our people.” (Exodus 33:13) 
God responded to the request of Moses, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14) 
Diligently seek the way of God.
The word of God is His way; His way is His presence.
He is God whose word does not return to Him void. (Isaiah 55:11) 
Turning to the word of God is evidence of obedience and adds blessing with no evil.
Joshua 21:45 testifies of the word of God: “Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” 
Glory be to God!
Awesome God, gracious God.
The word of God will not fail any good thing.
Seek God diligently, and obey His word that delivers the promises of God.
Do not turn away from seeking God diligently.
To turn from God is violating the word of God consciously or unconsciously. 
Turning away from the word of God is turning away from His presence. There is no excuse to turn away from God that will prompt painful consequences.
The book of Jonah 1:2-3 records, “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.” 
Half obedience is the same as failure to seek God diligently. 
In the scriptural verse, the word of God refers to God as His presence. Jonah rose as commanded by God, but his rising was in the opposite direction to the presence of God. 
Are you riding in the opposite direction to the word of God? 
Know to always turn to the word of God and maintain His presence. 
One with an expectation of manifestation in the life journey is the testimony of deliverance and preservation to see through. 
It is time to seek God diligently.
Seek God diligently to find God.
Jeremiah states, “And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
Know to seek God diligently.
