FAITH CAPSULE: Responsibility is the price for greatness.
Joshua 1
Live responsibly, seeing in the Word of God.
Living a life of responsibility can be exceedingly costly and laborious, requiring strict discipline.
One that engages it as is described shall excel to the glory of God.
Indeed, responsibility is a price for greatness.
Responsibility is the price to excel for the glory of God.
It is a responsibility to see in the Word of God.
To see in the Word of God will gain unfailing direction.
Navigating in the world of wickness shall not have a place.
An acclaimed believer who does not see in the word of God will live as an unbelieving believer, that is, set to live a life of waste.
Seeing the word of God is rooted in listening to understand and having knowledge, living according to the word of God.
What kind of a believer are you?
Are you responsible enough to be seeing in the Word of God?
It is responsible for mediating the word of God.
One who meditates on the word of God day and night is hearing and hearing the word of God to see what God says in His word.
Be responsible, engage in meditating with God, a way of communicating with God.
Joshua 1:8 states, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Responsibility is a choice, not to force on one with no desire to engage in the labour it demands.
Praying before God is a responsibility to locate God.
Responsibility demands watching in prayer.
The word of God repeatedly commands all to watch and pray.
One who is not watching and praying is not in a position to see God, who waits to act for those who wait on Him.
Isaiah 64:4 records, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
Elisha was responsible and waited on God in prayer on behalf of his servant to see the deliverance plan of God over his life, not to become a victim of evil.
2 Kings 6:17 states, “And Elisha prayed, and said, ‘Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
It is ignorance of a believer not to hear, see, and do according to the word of God.
What kind of a believer are you?
As a believer, let it be a way of life, a responsibility to see God with His plan for deliverance and preservation over the life of such.
Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live a life of responsibility to the glory of God.
