ENGAGE YOUR CALLING

FAITH CAPSULE: Hear and see in the word of God to engage His calling over your life.

Acts 9

Answer the calling of God by seeing in the word of God.
Consciously or unconsciously, do you know what is holding you from serving in the calling of God over your life?
Have you given yourself to worldly materials or activities that occupy many not to serve God?
What must be in place to come out of holding force that denies serving God?
TO HEAR AND SEE IN THE WORD OF GOD
The ability to hear and see in the word of God will set one to serve the calling of God.
Saul of Tarsus (Apostle Paul) was going to wreak havoc on the disciples of the Lord in Damascus when he heard and saw in the word of God.
Acts 9:1-5 records, “Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
As he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4 Then he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. [a]It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
Saul of Tarsus heard and saw in the word of God to gain knowledge and understanding of Jesus that set him to serve in the calling of God upon his life.
Saul responds to Jesus: “So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Acts 9:6)
Saul answered the calling of God and had his name changed from Saul to Paul.
With a new name, Paul received instruction from Jesus that made him serve God.
WHAT MUST BE DONE TO SERVE THE CALLING OF GOD?
One must give self to the prayer of wisdom and knowledge.
Prayer is like a key for ignition to get motion started.
Praying with understanding will gain a knowing edge to serve God according to His calling.
Prayerfully, give to the word of:
Colossians 1:9-10, “…ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Give yourself to answer the calling of God.
The calling of God is for the called one to live life for the glory of God, not to live a life of waste.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to live life for His glory.

ABOUT THE HEART

FAITH CAPSULE: Give your heart to fear God.

The word of God that gains enter the heart shall fear God living for God.
God treasures those who fear Him.
Having wisdom and knowledge, the source of stability and the strength of salvation is evidence of fear of God.
Isaiah 33:6 testifies, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times and the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.” God treasures it when one fears Him.
Fear God by your way of living life.
To fear God is taking a position not to be a victim of a wicked world.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 points out the need for all to be living life by the fear of God, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”
Are you one that keeps the word of God in the head with no space for the word of God in the heart?
In life, let the fear of God become your identity before God.
The fear of God is the identity of Job before God as God testifies, “there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still, he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.” (Job 2:3)
To fear God in the heart will be pleasing God.
Have a heart of fear for God to shun the evil not to have a place in you.
One that does not fear God does not abide in His command to dwell in the presence of God.
Through the pages of the Bible, word records what will become of those who fear God:
“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.” (Psalm 33:18)
“The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.” (Psalm 34:7-9)
“And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation.” (Luke 1:50)
Let the fear of God keep you in the eyes of God.
The desire and determination to fear God without prayer will not work.
Today, get to understand and know in the promise of God that when you fear God, you will fear none before God to claim the promises of God.
The book of Isiah 41:10 speaks to all, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Fear God is the will of God for all.

Prayer for today: Ask from God that you want to live life in His fear.

CLAIM THE GIFT

FAITH CAPSULE: What have you been giving back to God for the GIFT of God?

John 10

God is mindful of all.
God gave Jesus, His beloved son, for all to accept Him, not to be a victim of sin.
Are you giving back to God, living life for the gift of Jesus?
Ask yourself about what you are doing to give back to Jesus lately.
What have you been giving back to God for the GIFT of God?
Jesus is the GIFT of God.
Do you believe in God?
All acclaimed believers should walk in His righteousness, living obediently to His command as giving back to God for the gift of Jesus.
Living life should be serving God.
With understanding comes to sow self for God by serving Him.
What one sows indeed is what shall surely reap.
In life, it is impossible to sow the seed of deception and expect to reap the fruit of perfection.
Any man that sows the seed of lie will reap the fruit of being deceived.
A true believer of God should know Him and not be living life as a liar.
Word of God admonished, “He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him.
By this, we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” (1John2:4-6)
God invests so much in the life of all, but the majority extends so little in return to God.
Today, what do you sow in response to the GIFT of God?
Be mindful and know that there is nothing that passes outside of God that sees all under the heaven.
What are you giving back in response to the giving of God?
A failure not to accept the giving of God is evidence of not to sow self for God, to reap for eternal life, not damnation.
The thief is active, working to deny one not to sow self in the gift of God.
John 10:10-11 records, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I
have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep”
Living life to the glory of God will provoke the hand of God over one that sows self in God as a believer of God.
God creates all for His glory as stated in Revelation 4:11, “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will, they exist and were created.”
Are you living life for the creator of all?
It is your new turnaround to sow self for God and live life for His glory.

Prayer for today: Ask for God’s hand to draw you near for His glory.

THE SHEPHERDS

FAITH CAPSULE: To become wrongly led does not excuse for the consequence before God.

Jeremiah 50

All should be questioning themselves to know if one is far and lost from the presence of God.
God is near to all, but the majority are far from God and do not have the rest of God.
The rest of God is the promise of God in place for those not lost from God.
The route to being far from God is the route to being lost.
God is mindful of all to give His beloved son for all, but the majority did not get the understanding to live life for the glory of God.
Jesus said, “…for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10)
THE REASON FOR THE LOST
Jeremiah 50:6 points it out, “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray; They have turned them away to the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill; They have forgotten their resting place.”
The word points out that the Shepherds are the contributing role to be lost, but to be lost will not have an excuse for the lost ones before God.
To be lost is not living for God but shall experience the consequence of living life as the lost.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost sheep, and the sheep that seek Him will find Him to become saved.
To become wrongly led does not excuse for the consequence before God. John 8:31-32 records that an individual should know the truth and not become a victim like the lost one.
John 8:31-32 states: “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
There is no excuse to have been wrongly led if: “…YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH…”
From today, seek God to know the truth to keep you safe and not become a victim of being led wrong by the Shepherds.
Making a wrong choice is a way to become a victim of shepherds leading sheep into the track of loss.
Know the truth, and have the desire not to be a victim of a shepherd leading that leads into the track of lost.
The psalm of David states, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4)
What is your choice?
All should know to have the right choice, and with the desire to seek the truth of God, not being led wrongly.
The way of the lost is the route that leads the LOST one not to gain REST, the promise of God in place for all.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled with the strength not to walk the walk of the lost.

RIGHTFUL PLACE

FAITH CAPSULE: Error erases disobedience from the rightful place in the Lord.

Numbers 20

God is a God of order.
The word of God is His command.
Obey the command of God with no negotiation to disobey.
Have you been commanded by God and not obeyed?
It does not matter who you are, but it does matter not to disobey the word of God.
To disobey His word is to be destroyed.
Proverbs 13:13 warns all, “He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
Disobedient to the word of God is the lack of fear for God.
Moses, as great as he was in the hand of God, could not step on the Promised Land because he disobeyed the command of God.
The disobedience of Moses is no excuse to deliver him from the consequence of his error.
Error erases disobedience from the rightful place in the Lord.
The Bible records the disobedience of Moses:
“Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.” (Numbers 20:7-8)
Moses was to respond to the children of Israel for water when God commanded him to speak to the rock.
Moses did not speak as God commanded him but disobeyed by pleasing himself against the command of God.
The Bible records in Numbers 20:11, “Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod, and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.”
Moses struck the rock in the place to speak as commanded by God.
The disobedience of Moses did not settle well with God.
As a result, God responded to Moses and Aaron, “…Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” (Numbers 20:12)
A lifetime journey ended up in the wilderness for Moses when he struck instead of speaking to become denied from getting to the Promised Land.
Disobedient to God is evidence not to fear God.
Today, all live in the time of dispensation of grace, but it is not a reason to disobey the command of God.
The word questions all: “…Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2)
The sin of Moses is with no excuse before God, but it is enough for all to learn not to disobey the command of God.
Fear God, live by His word, and not become a victim of sin and sinning before God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be delivered from the spirit of disobedience.
