RIGHTFUL PLACE

FAITH CAPSULE: Error erases disobedience from the rightful place in the Lord.

Numbers 20

God is a God of order.
The word of God is His command.
Obey the command of God with no negotiation to disobey.
Have you been commanded by God and not obeyed?
It does not matter who you are, but it does matter not to disobey the word of God.
To disobey His word is to be destroyed.
Proverbs 13:13 warns all, “He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.”
Disobedient to the word of God is the lack of fear for God.
Moses, as great as he was in the hand of God, could not step on the Promised Land because he disobeyed the command of God.
The disobedience of Moses is no excuse to deliver him from the consequence of his error.
Error erases disobedience from the rightful place in the Lord.
The Bible records the disobedience of Moses:
“Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.” (Numbers 20:7-8)
Moses was to respond to the children of Israel for water when God commanded him to speak to the rock.
Moses did not speak as God commanded him but disobeyed by pleasing himself against the command of God.
The Bible records in Numbers 20:11, “Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod, and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.”
Moses struck the rock in the place to speak as commanded by God.
The disobedience of Moses did not settle well with God.
As a result, God responded to Moses and Aaron, “…Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.” (Numbers 20:12)
A lifetime journey ended up in the wilderness for Moses when he struck instead of speaking to become denied from getting to the Promised Land.
Disobedient to God is evidence not to fear God.
Today, all live in the time of dispensation of grace, but it is not a reason to disobey the command of God.
The word questions all: “…Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2)
The sin of Moses is with no excuse before God, but it is enough for all to learn not to disobey the command of God.
Fear God, live by His word, and not become a victim of sin and sinning before God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be delivered from the spirit of disobedience.

GOD SPEAKS

Faith Capsule: When God speaks, His visitation of wonders shall visit you.

2 Samuel 5

Ezekiel 37:1-3 records the conversation of God with Ezekiel, “Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and indeed they were very dry. And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”
Ezekiel answered, but God promised to give life to the dry bone and caused Ezekiel to know that He is LORD.
God does not need to prove Himself to anyone.
The point to take out of this is that if He has spoken into your life, He shall perform it regardless of how long it takes.
King Saul created a hindrance mountain, trying to deny David from his arrival at where the word of God spoke to David.
After the death of Saul, David eventually became the king as the word of God spoke to David.
2 Samuel 5:1-3 records, “Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and spoke, saying, ‘Indeed we are your bone and your flesh. Also, in time past, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them in; and the LORD said to you, ‘You shall shepherd My people Israel, and be ruler over Israel.’’ Therefore, all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them at Hebron before the LORD. And they anointed David king over Israel.”
King David became anointed for the third time.
Samuel anointed David the first time, the second time was his rule over Judah, and the third was his rule over the whole nation.
The word of God came to pass in the life of David because the word of God does not fail.
Has God spoken into your life as He spoke to Ezekiel and David?
When God speaks His visitation of wonders in your life, you shall experience His visitation.
God spoke into the life of David challenges could not hinder or derail the manifestation of the word of God over his life.
2 Samuel 5:4-5 records, “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. In Hebron, he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem, he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.”
It is important to note that the challenges of David for running and hiding his life from the hand of Saul were nothing to compare with the years he spent reigning and ruling as one ordained.
Are you in doubt of the word of God over your life?
1 Thessalonians 5:24 also encourages all, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
Focus and not frail for the word of God that speaks to you.

Prayer for today: Ask that the hand of God shall rest over your life and place you at the center of His plan.

GIVE SELF TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Give self to the Word of God, live life for God.

Joshua 3

One with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding will gain to retain the magnify of the Word of God.
Psalm 138:2 testifies, “I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified your word above all Your name.”
The Word of God is God.
God, without His Word, there is nothing He does.
John 1:1-3 confirms the Word of God is eternal, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made.”
All should know God, to give self to God in His Word.
The Bible verses point it out:
The Word of God is God, and power belongs to the Word of God.
Without the Word, nothing was created.
The Word of God is everything for all to have life without becoming wasted.
The source of FAITH is the living WORD of God.
Word is the living power that produces a living proof in the life of one that is faithful.
The Word of God is the source of faith for one to be with a spiritual power but not a philosophy or ideology.
Jesus said, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63)
Are you spending time in the Word of God to become established in your life?
The Word of God is the power that gives light.
This world of wickedness and darkness demands all to become full of the Word of God, not to be a victim of evil.
The Word of God needs to gain entrance into life to give light and understanding.
Psalm 119:130 buttresses, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
The Word of God that gains entrance into the life of one will enable such to take a position not far from God.
One that the Word gains entrance takes the position of communicating God at all times.
With one that the Word of God gain the entrance and meditating on the Word of God day and night shall be established for the glory of God.
The Word of God is the law of God.
Joshua 1:8 speaks about meditating, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Give self to the Word of God, and live life for God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the living Word of God to locate you and be established in you.

LIVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Obedience to the word of God is to live life for God.

Genesis 22

What kind of a believer are you?
Is it your desire to live for God?
Are you questioning why the promises of God do not have a place in your life?
To claim the promise of God comes with a condition.
With God, the condition to claim His promises demands to live a life of obedience to His command, His word.
Obediently, live life as obedient to the word of God.
In the journey of life, live by the command of God.
Are you living a life of obedience or disobedience?
Obedience to God will drive the obedient one to arrive at the divine assignment, but disobedience will derail not to reach as expected before God.
Abraham lived a life of obedience to the word of God.
God called him out of his land and his family when he answered obediently God.
The test of God for Abraham was his obedience in answering the calling to go and sacrifice Isaac, his son. Genesis 22:1-3 records: “Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.”
The obedience of Abraham counted as a faith that positioned him for the divine assignment. (Hebrews 11:8)
Abraham obeyed; he could not fail before God but was able to claim the promises of God for his life. (Hebrews 11:17)
Just like Abraham, all should give themselves to live by the word of God with no excuse not to live by His word.
In the journey of life, there is no reasonable excuse for disobedience to God.
Claiming to be living a life of obedience is easier said than done.
Live a life of obedience before God that sees all ways of life under heaven.
To live a life with the fear of God is encased in the humble and become obedient to God continually.
The word of God will cause tenderness of heart to be a place for humility.
Without humility, obedience is not possible.
Philippians 2:8 record the experience of Jesus when He walked through the earth, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
The humble ones know to fear God.
Do you fear God in deed and truth?
To be lost from the word of God will be disobedient to lose the rightful position in God.

Prayer for today: Pray to Know God, to fear Him.

A NEW DAY

FAITH CAPSULE: God has brought you this far, and He will see you through all days bestowed on you.

Jeremiah 17

In this season, this day, this week, this month, engage the testimonies of what God has done and doing in life He has given you.
With wisdom, understand with knowledge, abstain from complaining but give yourself to complimenting God.
Give testimony of what God has done to provoke the visitation of God with His goodness over your life.
Are you counting on the challenges in the place of complementing God for His goodness and mercy?
In this new day, new month, begin to keep the testimonies of God that enable one to claim the blessings of keeping His testimonies.
Psalm 119:2-3 testifies, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways.”
Today know and understand that keeping His testimonies will make you seek Him with all your heart but not become a victim as one stranded with thoughts of past challenges.
No believer is immune not experiencing challenges.
Know that challenges will come, affliction will prevail, but the deliverance of God never fails.
Psalm 34:19 encourages, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”
God is faithful to His Word.
Give self to wisdom and knowledge in the word of God.
Understand that God does not fail in His word.
God meant what He said to do all His promises.
Without a doubt, when testimonies of God become what one is keeping as a portion, such will do no iniquity and walk in His ways as stated in Psalm 119:2-3.
In this season, seek the word of God, dwell and abide in His word to experience His promise.
The word of God is perfect and encouraging to those who give themselves to the word of God.
In looking back to where you have started and where you are, can you claim to have sincerely embarked and engaged yourself in doing good and not evil?
It can never be too much to be doing good; neither can it be too late to reap the fruitfulness of doing good.
Be encouraged in the word of God to be doing good while ignoring the wickedness of the wicked world.
Jeremiah 17:9-10, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.”
The word of God never fails and will never be late for manifestation.
All should remember that the privilege of God is the reason to have life.
God has brought you this far, and He will see you through all days bestowed on you.

Prayer for today: Ask for understanding and knowledge to continually dwell and abide in the word of God.
