THE MULTITUDE

FAITH CAPSULE: The Israelites were mixed-up with the multitude and could not arrive at the promise of God.

The multitude is a crowd, a state of many.
A journey with the many is bound not to arrive at the calling by God. Matthew 20:16 admonishes, “…For many are called, but few chosen.”
There is a tendency to be crowded, not to see or rise over challenges to derail the called one.
The crowd in life can be a hindrance.
The calling of the Israelites to the Promised Land was delayed, derailed to deny because they mixed with a multitude that was not of God.
Exodus 12:38 records, “A mixed multitude went up with them…”
Pray against accompanying yourself with the crowd.
What role is the multitude/crowd doing in your life?
Multitude could be a hindrance.
If a multitude is allowed in life, it will deny one from getting to where the LORD has destined for one to be.
The Israelites exposed themselves to the multitude that denied them not to arrive at the destiny of God for their life.
When a mix-up with the multitude is allowed in life, confusion is bound to experience failure.
Where there is a mix-up with the multitude, disorderliness shall predominate.
In the place of a mix-up with the multitude, confusion, mistake, and misunderstanding will be in place.
As an acclaimed believer, are you searching for yourself to identify the multitude in your life?
For the Israelites, at the onset of the journey to freedom, Exodus 12:38 said, “A mixed multitude went up with them…”
God did not call the Israelites to go with the multitude, but they went with them, and the consequence led them to destruction.
Numbers 11:4-6 records the damage of the mixed-up multitudes that went with the Israelites, ” Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!”
The Israelites were mixed-up, confused, confessed negativity before God, and could not arrive at the Promised Land.
Numbers 14:27-29 records the cause of the Israelites before God, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. 28 Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: 29 The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.”
What is it that is confusing you to be confessing negative in the place of positive before God?
The Israelites were mixed-up with the multitude and could not arrive at the promise of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will not become a victim of the multitude.

GOD REVERSES IRREVERSIBLE

FAITH CAPSULE: God alone is the only unchanging changer that reverses the irreversible.

Psalm 34

Genesis 5:2 records, “He created them male and female, and blessed them…”
God alone created all!
With understanding, know that God alone is the only unchanging changer that reverses the irreversible and has brought you this far.
Praise and thank belong to God for He have brought you thus far.
Affliction can be a challenge to discourage not waiting on God for deliverance.
Psalm 34:19 encourages, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19)
Despite your challenges, do right before God.
God creates all to reverse irreversible.
Good God that is consistent in His mercy will not fail in His goodness that is merciful towards one that consistently seeks His intervention.
In times of challenges, who do you call on?
Who do you remember to call on besides the merciful God?
Psalm 20:7 records, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”
Prayerfully, give self to calling on God by His exalted name alone (Psalm 148:13), remind Him by His magnified word that is above all His name (Psalm 138:2)
With understanding, know that the word of God does not return to Him void (Isiah 55:11)
Remind God to contend with Him faithfully (not in doubt) as Isaiah 43:6 encourages, “Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted.”
Know God to call Him with the understanding gained in His word.
It is not too much but possible and worthy to call Him at every breath as a prescription to have life.
Psalm 150:6 prescribes, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!”
With the desire to experience the presence of God, it is never too much or not impossible to praise God with every breath.
The word of God encourages everything with breath to praise the Lord.
Praising God is worshipping God.
Worshiping God can be thanking, praying, singing, and living life by the word of God.
Live life for God at every breath.
Are you calling on Him with doubt, not knowing if He answers you?
Have faith, and know that God hears you.
The word of Psalm 94:9 encourages, “He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?”
Prayerfully, call on God without a doubt.
God is a good God, and He is merciful to call on.
God will speak except one is not hearing Him.
God knows best and does have the reason to do as it pleases over all of His creation.
God is a merciful God!
If you have been calling on God and yet no answer, keep faith to keep on waiting to hear for His calling.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to be waiting on Him at all times.

WALK BEFORE GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: The life journey demands to walk before God to gain His presence.

1 Samuel 15

Life is a journey.
In the journey of life, it is worthy to walk before God.
Enoch walked with God to have a healthy 365 years and had sons and daughters.
Enoch did not die a sudden or untimely death as God took him. (Genesis 5:21-24)
Noah walked with God at a time of corruption and destruction.
Noah walked with God to find grace before God.
Genesis 6:9-10 testifies, “Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. And Noah begot three sons…”
Abraham walked before God when God called him out to walk before Him. (Genesis 17:1)
Abraham walked before God to be blameless to gain the promises of God.
Walking with God is walking before God also to walk in Him.
The word of God points out that walking with God, walking before God, is walking in Him. Colossians 2:6 states, “As you, therefore, have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.”
How is your walk with God, before God, or walking in Him?
Life is a journey, do right and not just know about God.
King David knew God the evidence that he walked before God to become recognized as “a man after God’s own heart” (1 Samuel 13:14)
King Saul could not walk with God.
King Saul disobeyed God.
1 Samuel 15:1-3 records the disobedience of King Saul: “Samuel also said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now, therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt. Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”
Saul walked in his way and did not walk before God.
I Samuel 15:7-9 records, “Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.”
Walking with God is pleasing God, but disobedience to God does not please God.
Failure to walk before God shall experience rejection by God.
Samuel delivered the consequence of the disobedient of Saul before God,“…Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.” (1 Samuel 15:26)
A life journey is worth walking before God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable your walk before Him.

GOD IS NEAR

FAITH CAPSULE: Be near God, the Word of God, the power of God.

Joshua 1

God is near to all.
Are you near to God?
God is the perfect creator of all that is not far from no one but the choice for anyone to be far from God.
The book of Genesis to Revelation records that God is not far but near.
Deuteronomy 30:14 states, “But the word is very near you, (A)in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.”
Romans 10:8 records, “…The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)
Are you giving yourself to the Word of God that is near but not far from all?
The Word of God is God.
John 1:1 testifies, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
The Word of God answers to living life.
The Word of God is near for one that will establish self in the word of God to experience the power of God.
Know that the Word of God is near and is power.
Hebrews 4:12 states, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
The word of God is near to gaining entrance if there is a desire to receive the word of God.
Psalm 119:30 encourages, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
God in His word is near to gain entrance.
All should enable the self to be near the word of God continually.
Paul admonishes in Acts 6:4, “but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
God is near for all to engage His presence day and night.
One that mediates the word of God is near to God.
After the death of Moses, the Lord spoke to Joshua in Joshua 1:8, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
One that meditates consistently in the Word of God shall have the Word of God established in the self.
Be near God, to know God, not to know about God.
Daniel 11:32 informs us, “the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.”
Moses and Daniel engaged the Word of God to have the Word of God established in their life to live a life of strength and carry out great exploits.
Be near God, the Word of God, the power of God, not to live a life of waste but to live to the glory of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that you shall live in the near of God all the days God bestows on you.

FEAR GOD TO BECOME STABLE

In the challenging times, knowing to fear God shall experience the stability of God.
Give regard to fear God by inclining ear to keep the word of God in the depth of the heart, not just in the head.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 identifies fear God, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”
Know and understand to fear God in the whole matter.
The word of God speaks to all to fear and live life by the ways of God.
Proverbs 1:7 records, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge…”
Proverbs 9:10 states, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…”
Isaiah 33:6 confirms, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
One is bound to be stable in times of challenges if rooted in wisdom and knowledge of God, the evidence that such have stability in this wicked world.
To Fear God is the treasure of God, and such shall be stable in the challenging times.
Ask that to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
To fear God from the depth of the heart is not by the mouth but is established by asking God to give the spirit to fear Him.
Matthew 7:7 records the word of God, “Ask, and it will be given to you.
God that says ask confirms that He will give.
Jeremiah 32:39-41 records, I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them. 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. 41 Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’
Pray that God will give you one heart and one way that you will fear God forever for your good and your children.
Ask God to put His fear in your heart that you will not turn away from doing good and not depart from God.
It takes a desire to fear God, believe in Him, and abide in Him to know the truth of God.
John 8:31-32 states, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
One living by the word of God (acclaimed believer) fears God from the heart, not in the mouth.
The character of fear of God abides in God as His disciple.
To abide in Him knows the truth.
To know the truth is free from the agendas of the wicked world because such is full of the fear of God.
Pray that you will live life by the word of God with growth in His fear in your life.
Ask that God shall enable you to dwell and abide in Him continually.
Ask that you shall know the truth of God that makes one free not to become a victim of evil agendas of the wicked world.
One that does not know the truth knows the lies.
The character of the liar one is a lack of fear of God.
To fear God gives self to God but not fear God does not give self to God.
Abraham fears God and could not withhold himself from God.
Genesis 22:12 records the word of God to Abraham, “Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now, I know that you fear God since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
Pray that whatever in your life that is consciously or unconsciously withholding not do according to the word of God be permanently cease.
Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit that kept them from God.
Acts 5:1-4 document, “But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
Ask against what opens to become filled up by Satan shall not access your life.
Who will not fear God?
The challenge of today demands to fear God to experience the promise of God.
Psalm 33:18 records, “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.”
Psalm 34:7 states, “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them.
Live life for God, fear God.
