ONLY FEAR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Keep the word of God in the heart to fear God.

Psalm 34

Live life to fear God by taking a position not to fail.
To fear God is rooted in giving attention to the word of God by inclining ear to keep the word of God in the depth of the heart, not just in the head.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 identifies fear God, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”
Are you one that keeps the word of God in the head, not in the heart?
It is the will of God for all to fear God and know to train children to fear God.
Deuteronomy 4:10 records, “…Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”
Know and understand to fear God in the whole matter.
The word of God speaks to all to fear and live life by the ways of God.
Job 28:28 records, “…And to man, He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding…”
Jeremiah 10:7, “Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For this is Your rightful due. For among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You. “
Who will not fear God?
One that does not fear God does not abide in the word of God, not dwell in the presence of God.
Abide and dwell in the presence of God, evidence of fear of God to experience the recodings of:
Psalm 33:18, “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.”
Psalm 34:7-9, “The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.”
Luke 1:50, “And His mercy is on those who fear Him From generation to generation.”
Let the fear of God keep you in the eyes of God.
Determination is not enough to fear God, but with a desire, God shall intervene in prayer before Him, to fear Him.
In life, in the place of determination, it is only the prayer before God (power of God) that will not disappoint one to become of desire before God.
The determination of Peter failed when he denied Jesus.
It was the prayer of Jesus that delivered Peter from his failure of determination.
Luke 22:32 records, “…But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail…”
In determination, let the desire to fear God become established in the heart and not deny and depart from God.

Prayer for today: Ask that the fear of God become established in your life.

KNOW NOT KNOW ABOUT

FAITH CAPSULE: It is not enough to know about God but to know God.

Exodus 14

Knowing about God is not knowing God.
Knowing about God does not know God to be mindful of God and His attributes.
Knowing God is the evidence of giving self to living life by the word of God.
Seeking God diligently in His word is getting to know God.
Deuteronomy 4:29 records, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Seeking God to know Him demands to seek Him with all heart and soul.
Knowing God will have trust and hope in God at all times.
Knowing about God will trust but not know to hope in God.
Do you know God to trust and hope in Him?
With trust, many know about God but do not have the hope to gain an answer.
Jeremiah 17:7 identifies trusting and hoping on God to claim the blessing of God, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.”
Knowing about God does not know God to submit in hope before God.
The Israelites trusted God to bring them out of the bondage of over four hundred years, but they had no hope in God when the fear of their enemy overwhelmed them.
Exodus 14:11-12 records the reaction of the Israelites to the enemy, “Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”
Moses responded to the lack of hope of the Israelites that prompted their negative confession before God, “And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exodus 14:13-14)
Get to know God in the pages of His word that is unfailing.
Trust and hope that God is not a partial God.
Give self to the word of God.
Gain understanding and knowledge to be approaching God that was, God that is, and will remain forever.
God is the unchanging changer that is not partial.
Romans 2:11 speaks to all, “For there is no partiality with God.”
It is not enough to know about God but to know God and become exposed to His revelation.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to know Him.

THE CALLING OF GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Are you questioning the calling of God?

Genesis 22

The calling of God over Abraham records, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” (Genesis 22:2)
The calling of God over Abraham asked for his only son, whom he loves.
God asked for his son as a burnt offering.
Abraham did not question the calling of God for his son.
Are you questioning the calling of God?
Questioning God with no demonstration of lack of faith is on track with God but asking with doubt is evidence of not having faith in God.
For example, with faith, Samuel questioned the calling of God over his life.
1Samuel 16:2-3 records the question and the response of God, “But the Lord said, “Take a heifer with you, and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do; you shall anoint for Me the one I name to you.”
Without faith, are you questioning the calling of God over your life?
Abraham did not question but answered the calling of God over his life.
The Bible records, “Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off.” (Genesis 22:4)
Abraham did not complain over the calling of God in his life.
The Israelites did not question the calling of God to the Promised Land but failed because of their complaint.
The complaint of Israelites converts the eleven days of journeying to forty years of journey.
The book of Deuteronomy 1:2-3 testifies, “It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea. Now it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month that Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the Lord had given him as commandments to them.”
Questioning God without faith or complaining before God can be rooted in careless thought or talking.
The Bible records against talking carelessly, “…let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.” (James 1:19)
Careless talking can lead to complaining before God.
Abraham kept focused on the command of God to disregard the challenges of the journey.
Abraham engaged in a reasonable sacrifice to God.
Abraham released Isaac unto God in each step of his response to the command of God.
Abraham demonstrated that he loved God with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his strength.
God declared Abraham as one who feared Him.
In the journey of life, the calling of God, there is a beginning and end. When God calls you, answer obediently with trust and hope to arrive at the calling of God, just like Abraham.

Prayer for today: Ask that you give your heart to God in all His calling over your life.

HIS TESTIMONIES

FAITH CAPSULE: Keep the testimony of God, to Know God, as the blessing of His assurance.

Deuteronomy 6

The testimonies of God are evidence of the doings of God.
The testimonies of God testify the word of to be living that does not fail.
All should know the testimonies of God to know God, not know about God.
Knowing the testimonies of God provokes to trust and hope in Him, to claim His blessing.
Jeremiah 17:7 points out, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.”
Having trust and not with hope is rooted in the lack of knowledge, and it does not complete to claim His blessing.
The fight of God for His children is His testimonies to know to stay in the peace of God.
Exodus 14:14 testifies, “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
The testimony of God points out that God thinks about all.
He is a precious God that cares for all.
Psalm 139:17 records, “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!”
Jeremiah 29:11 records the testimony of God, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
One that does not know to keep the testimony of God will not know to gain a position for the blessings of keeping the testimony of God.
All should know that God is mindful of all. In Psalm 8:4, King David questioned with faith before God, “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?” (Psalm 8:4)
Keep the testimony that God is mindful of all to claim His blessing.
All should know that God is the rock and refuge.
Psalm 62:6-8 testifies, “He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.”
All should know that God is always with all.
Matthew 28:20 records, “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Keep the testimony of God, to Know God, as the blessing of His assurance.
All should know that God is not a partial God.
One that keeps His testimonies is with the understanding of the caring of God.
Romans 2:11 encourages all saying, “For there is no partiality with God.”
Remember, the testimonies of God are the proofs of God.
The testimonies of God are evidence of His word.
What is denying you from giving yourself to keeping the testimonies of God?

Prayer for today: Ask God to open your understanding, keeping His testimonies.

WAIT ON GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Waiting on God can be defined as remaining unmoving until expected manifests.

Psalm 27

Know to be waiting on God.
Knowing to wait on God will not live a life of waste but live life for the glory of God.
In all your going and coming, in all your endeavors, ask God to enable you to wait on Him.
Waiting on God is asking from God.
Waiting on God will always lead to an unfailing direction of God.
The way to have the rest of God is in waiting on Him, and not waiting on Him is the way to go astray.
God is a good God and to end in an astray way is not of God.
God is a God of time and process.
The time of God is not the same as the time of man, and the process of God is not like the process of man.
The timing of God is perfect, and His process is a preparation for where He has time for everyone to be.
Waiting on God can be defined as remaining unmoving until expected manifests.
Waiting on God is also putting off further activity until later.
Waiting on God usually entails staying for a short or long time and for a definite purpose, that is, for something expected.
Without absolute trust in waiting on God, there will be no result emerging from waiting on God.
The Psalmist testifies, “O my God, I trust in You; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.” (Psalm 25:2-3)
Trusting in God is what energizes waiting on Him.
Trusting in God does have blessings, and not trusting in God will also generate curses.
God spoke in Jeremiah 17:5, “…Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord.”
Also, without having trust and hope will not experience the blessing of God. Jeremiah 17:7 records, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.”
How can one wait on whom such do not trust to have hope in Him?
Having trust and hope is bound to wait on God.
There is a consequence when waiting on God to know in your way of life.
Waiting on God will reveal where one is doing wrong in the right place.
Wait on God to know and correct when doing wrong in the place of doing right.
God is a God of the eleventh hour.
Know to always wait through in your waiting to experience expectations.
God waits to act for those who wait on Him. Isaiah 64:4 testifies, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
God cares know to wait on Him.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to be waiting on Him at all times.
