CARELESS

FAITH CAPSULE: To be careless to the word of God is reckless to become wrecked in the life journey.

Job 21

The word of God located Jeremiah saying, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
All created belongs to God, and there is no place to hide from the only creator of all man.
As a creation of God, are you living life in His way?
Are you living life by keeping to the ways of God or living life in the ways that seem right to you?
The word of God warns about your way that seems right to you.
Do you have your way?
Proverbs 14:12 records the warning of God: There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Jonah, a prophet of God that supposedly knows God, did not go by the direction, the way of God as directed by God.
Jonah 1:1-3 documents the choice of the way of Jonah over the way God before him: “Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me.” But Jonah arose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.”
Jonah was careless and reckless when he responded in a way that seems right to him.
His obedience to the only God was to obey as commanded by God, regardless of what seemed right to him or not.
The disobedience of Jonah placed him in the position of untimely death, but he cried out to God to gain the mercy of God for his deliverance.
God knows you more than you know yourself, and you should know to live every moment by the ways of God, not to become a victim of untimely death.
It is an act of wickedness to know the direction of the word of God for His way, to move in a different direction.
The word of God that is not hidden but clear enough for any, but taken differently, is the evidence of ignoring God.
Are you living life to ignore your creator directly or indirectly?
Again, without any doubt, walking against the way of God is telling God to depart from you.
Serving God is living life in His way.
Job addresses the wicked: Yet they say to God, ‘Depart from us, For we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways. Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? And what profit do we have if we pray to Him? (Job 21:14-15)
Are you living life by your ways instead of the ways of God?
Come out of wickedness to live for God.

Prayer for today: Ask that God will enable you to live life in His way.

HAVE FOR GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Loving God is not possible for one that does not love a neighbor.

1Timothy 1

Do you have a conscience that can access you to the presence of God?
Conscience can be described as an awareness of right and wrong to guide actions to do right.
A good conscience is an action that is before God and all to see.
God sees all actions as 1 Samuel 2:3 testifies, “…For the Lord is the God of knowledge; And by Him, actions are weighed.” (1 Samuel 2:3)
What is your conscience before God?
What does it mean to have a good conscience before God at all times?
The inner sense of doing right according to the word of God is a good conscience.
Having a good conscience before God is living obediently before God as commanded for all to love.
One with good conscience will not fail or falter from finding God.
The commandment of God for all is to love one other.
To love all is possible for only one with the understanding and knowledge of the love of God.
Loving God is not possible for one that does not love a neighbor.
1 John 4:8 states, “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
Do you love God?
Do you love all?
The Bible records, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14)
Among the reasons for the commandment of God for all is to love from a good conscience.
1Timothy 1:5-6 admonishes, “Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk.”
Having a good conscience is having God in thought continually to carry a mark for God.
Among all of the will of God is the purpose of the commandment from a good conscience.
Do you have a good conscience in all your ways before God?
Having love from a good conscience comes with action and is not hidden from God.
One with a good conscience is the sense of doing right but not doing wrong before God.
It is a good conscience that governs thoughts and actions.
Conscience is what convicts man to turn from wrong.
One with no conscience will live life with pride, the evidence of the lack of love as commanded by God.
Conscience is responsible for conviction.
The Bible points out the Pharisees as an example of the lack of good conscience when they approached Jesus for judgment over a woman caught with adultery.
The need for good conscience for the Pharisees was in the response of Jesus.
John 8:9 records, “Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one…”
All should strive for a good conscience, not to become a victim of a lack of love as commanded in the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you to have a conscience.

TRUE IS TRUTH

FAITH CAPSULE: The way is the truth, not to compromise.

John 14

How you live life by the word of God will determine when and where you exit.
There is no reasonable excuse to journey outside of the way.
The way, the truth, and the life cannot fail when engaged in life.
In John 14:6, the Word of God admonishes all, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Christ is the only way to the truth of God.
In the journey of life, many ways seem right, but not exit to the presence of God.
Proverbs 14:12, 16:25 warns, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12).
Today, are you on the right way or journeying where it seems right?
It is not about what you think or what seems right, but knowing the truth is always right.
The Challenges will emerge on the journey of life, but standing on the right way shall be your way to overcome as Psalm 34:19 records, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”
The awesome God is more than able to see you through, and He has put in place deliverance plans for all that engage the right way.
God is never in a rush but is a perfect timekeeper.
Ecclesiastes testifies, “To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
Today, avoid distractions and focus on the truth of God, not to fail.
Remain steadfast on the way to the truth, but distractions shall not overtake your journey.
Remain steadfast on the way to the truth, but distractions shall not overtake your journey.
Giving self-outside of the way of God can lead to the wrong destination.
Do not compromise the word of God with the signs of the world that is outside of God.
For instruction to arrive in His presence, allow the word of Psalm 32:8 to have a place in your heart as it states: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”
In the journey of life, there is an exit time.
On your life journey, do not allow your existence to become corrupted.
It is of little or no importance how long it takes to journey in life if you do not get fuel by the living word of God.
Get on the journey, keep on the right path, and have God as the pilot.
He that goes in the way of God always gets to the presence of God.
In the life journey, make the right choice today by engaging the way of God.
Jesus is the Word of God, the truth, and the Way of God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you in the journey of life not to miss His place after your exit from this world.

SEE IN GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Always remember that the Word of God is God.

Joshua 6

The Word of God is God.
The Bible speaks that, in the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
The Word of God is sent for man to behold God in His Word, to see God.
The ability to listen to God in His word will make man behold (see) God for direction, live life for God, and not become wasted in the face of this wicked world.
Always remember that the Word of God is God.
Without a doubt, when one listens to the Word of God, one must behold (see) the word of God and be built up with boldness and character.
The combination of boldness and character is a winning combination.
Boldness and character are rooted in listening to see and be living life by the Word of God will make one a winner, a winner to the glory of God.
In the Word of God, there is a direction that never fails.
For example, Joshua needed to behold (see) the word of God to gain boldness and character for winning over Jericho.
Jericho posed as an enemy attempting to stop the advance of the Israelites to the Promised Land.
Joshua 6:1-2 records the calling of Joshua to see (to behold) in the Word of God, “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.”
See in what the Word of God speaks to you to receive what you see, to become of you.
Joshua moved by what he saw in the word of God as direction to go against the enemy (the challenge of the Jericho wall). For Joshua, the Bible record the result of seeing and action according to the Word of God: “The wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all.” (Joshua 6:20-21)
With listening, gain understanding to see in the Word of God, to address your challenge victoriously.
Joshua listened; he was able to behold (to see) direction in the word of God as he gained character and boldness to become the winner over Jericho.
At all times, God wants all to see in Him (His word) to engage in a direction not to be a failure.

Payer for today:

Ask that you begin to hear, see and receive in the Living word of God for victory, not to be a victim of fear of the enemy with its attempt to deny you from moving forward in the plans of God for your life.

Ask that the Living word of God for direction to victory become activated in your life, to bring down flat every work of the enemy to fail in your life just as the WALL of Jericho of the enemy fell flat in the name of Jesus.

KNOW AND UNDERSTAND

FAITH CAPSULE: Know and understand that God does not fail in His plans and promises.

Numbers 13
During the wilderness journey, the children of Israel could not trust and have hope to see in the word of God to take them to the Promised Land.
They trusted God to bring them out of the bondage of over four hundred years but had no hope for their arrival at the plans and promise of God.
While the Israelites were at the Wilderness of Paran, waiting to move into the Canaan, God spoke to Moses to send men to spy out to the land of Canaan. (Numbers 13)
Moses sent out spies to the land of Canaan.
The spies returned with a report and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless, the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.” (Numbers 13:27-29)
The spies reported with trust, mentioning the goodness of the land.
However, the report was without hope because of the fear of the people of the land. Numbers 13:31-33 states, “But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants), and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
The spy lacked trust and hope in the deliverance of God.
The lack of trust and hope prompted fear before God.
Except for Joshua and Caleb, the Israelites complained and confessed negatively before God.
God responds to the negative confession of the Israelites: Numbers 14:28-30, “As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in.”
Know and understand that God does not fail in His plans and promises, but it is the man that voids the condition to claim the promise of God.
Give full attention to the word of God that says blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord. (Jeremiah 17:7)

Prayer for today: Ask God to locate you with trust and hope at all times.
