TAKE NOTE

FAITH CAPSULE: Take note of two things by giving attention.

1 Samuel 13
1. Know to trust and hope
2. Avoid making the wrong choice.

1. Know to trust and hope:
Claiming to have hope in God is not only by mouth but must be rooted in the heart.
One that does not keep heart diligently as the word of God demands from all cannot and does not understand and know to have trust and hope in God.
Proverbs 4:23 states: “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
Do you have a heart with trust but not with hope in God?
With the expectation for manifestation, acclaimed believers visit the gathering of believers because of trust but do not demonstrate hope for the expectation.
It is not complete to expect or receive the blessing of God by having trust but not having hope.
Jeremiah 17:7 records it, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.”
Know and understand that God is not talkative that fails in His word.
The word of God does not return to Him void. (Isaiah 55:11)
What God says He will do is a done deal!
Do you have a heart with trust and hope in God?
PRAYER
Ask that the strength in the word of God will answer in you, keeping your heart with all diligence.
Ask that in every way of seeking God, you shall keep trust and hope continually.
2. Avoid making the wrong choice:
Making choices in the life journey is possible to live in pain or not arrive at the divine assignment of God.
Saul was chosen as King by God, but he made the wrong choice outside before God when he disobeyed the word of God.
Saul repeatedly disobeyed God.
First, he engaged in unlawful sacrifice against the word of God. (Prophet Samuel instructed Saul to wait for a sacrificial approach when he was at war with his enemy. Saul did not obey but made the wrong choice to carry out the sacrifice)
Saul states his excuse that the people were scattered when Samuel did not arrive on time ( Saul compelled to disobey).
Samuel identifies him as FOOLISH. (1 Samuel 13)
Secondly, God directed Saul to destroy the Amalekites. (1 Samuel 15)  Saul spared King Agag at his choice against the command of God.
Saul made his own choice to spare, not destroy, as commanded by God.
One that is unwilling to obey disobeys.
Disobeying the word of God is turning from God.
Saul was 30 years old when he became king, and he reigned 42 years over the Israelites.
At the time of disobedience of Saul, the presence of God was absent for him.
God turned to David as His choice while Saul was king. (1 Samuel 13:13-14)
For forty years of reign, Saul was on his own.
The disobedience of Saul to the command of God was his sin against him.
God made Saul retain the throne, but his descendant could not carry on his dynasty.
PRAYER
Ask God that reverses irreversible will have mercy on your wrong choice taken against His choice for you.
Ask that you live a life of obedience constantly.

GOD TREASURES

FAITH CAPSULE: God treasures those who fear Him.

Job 1

The fear for God will move one to obey and not become a victim of evil in challenging times. Hebrews 11:7 testifies to the move of Noah, “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
Live life by fearing God without ceasing shall find and gain access to God without failure.
Do you have fear for God?
None is born to this world with the fear of God.
To fear God is rooted in studying the word of God, knowing God, and having faith in God.
God treasures those who fear Him.
To fear God is the way not to live a wasted life.
With the fear of God is taking a position to be claiming the promise of God.
Among the promises for those who fear God are:
The fear of the Lord prolongs days. (Proverbs 10:27)
In the fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence. (Proverbs 14:26)
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death. (Proverbs 14:27)
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom. (Proverbs 15:33)
By the fear of the Lord, one departs from evil. (Proverbs 16:6)
The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. (Proverbs 19:23)
By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4)
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them. (Psalm 34:7)
The fear of the Lord is His treasure. (Isaiah 33:6)
To fear God is a must for all to avoid living a wasteful life.
For all is to serve the Lord with fear. (Psalm 2:11)
Are you serving God with fear?
With desire, not just determination, God shall deposit His fear in one with a desire to fear Him.
Jeremiah 32:39 records the word of God, “…I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.”
Pray earnestly to God to give you one heart, one way to fear Him.
Make it a serious point to live life with the fear of God.
One that fears God obeys God.
In the journey of life, Abraham served God because he feared God. Hebrews 11:8 testifies, “By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”
Living life year after year without the fear of God is not the will of God for all His creation.
Know to fear God, obey Him like Abraham to gain and retain the presence of God.

Prayer for today: Ask that God shall give you one heart and one way to fear Him in all days of life.

SELFISH-MINDED

FAITH CAPSULE: The world is invested by selfish-minded.

Psalm 8

Selfishness is what to become separated from if one is to turn to God, to answer the calling of God, to engage the divine assignment of God over the given life that God creates one to live before Him.
Selfish one is with wicked spirit having a sealed conscience not available for others except when to gain for self-interest.
A selfish one is uncaring for others with a dubious wicked character.
Live life for God, not for self!
Be mindful of God, a care-minded, in your way of life.
Are you mind-full of God or mind-full of yourself as a self-centered soul?
A selfish-minded lacks consideration for others to be concerned chiefly for self to be profit
above others at all times.
A selfish-minded is never with the character to take a position of sacrificing for others.
A self-minded is not with the mind of God that creates all.
Are you selfish and not know you are?
The character of a selfish one is not mindful of anyone but the self, especially when nothing is at stake to gain.
A selfish-minded does not accept constructive criticism and always believes to deserve everything, one as self-centeredness the evidence of self-ambition.
The word of God in Philippians 2:3 speaks against self-ambition, “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.”
One with selfish ambition is as selfishness, self-centeredness that is not of God to be absent from the presence of God.
Selfishness is not a spirit of God.
Selfishness is sin and not being able to God.
Are you a self-minded soul?
Is selfishness your character of life?
Search yourself, check to know if selfishness is your character against the word of God in the way of life that cannot hide from God.
A selfish-minded is unconsciously closed to self hardly listens to others with the character to achieve better than all involved.
A selfish-minded avoids being responsible for any out of self.
It is a self-minded character to criticize behind the others.
One that lives life as selfish-minded does not have consideration for the time for others.
Selfish ones are not mindful of others, the evidence of self-centeredness, not the spirit of God.
Can one that is not mindful of others be mindful of God?
Psalm 8:4 questions“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?”
Does the question speak to you?
Are you mindful of God?
The wicked world is full of self and empty of God.
The emptiness of God in one is the evidence of not living by the word of God, the lack of fear of God.
The majority no longer fear God with heart but with the mouth.
Is it possible that your selfishness has closed you not to be mindful of God and not know Him the evidence of living life as a foolish one?

Prayer for today: Ask that the fear of God be your ways of life.

THE TIME OF MIRACLE

FAITH CAPSULE: The visitation of God, redemption, and resurrection is the miracle of the third.

Esther 5

Exodus 19:10-11 records, “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow and let them wash their clothes. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the LORD will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.”
The third day was the time of God to visit His people.
Something about the third has to do with the time of visitation, redemption, and resurrection by God.
The life of Moses, Esther, and Jesus Christ of Nazareth testify to the miracle of the time at the third.
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and He will answer with the manifestation of the third miracle of the time.
The time of the third over the life of Moses:
When Moses was born, the pronouncement of the death penalty for every son born by Hebrew women was in effect.
As a result, the mother of Moses decided to hide him.
The mother of Moses, “…Hid him for three months.” (Exodus 2:2)
When Moses was out of hiding in the third month, he ended up in the compassionate care of the palace, where his murderer became a law.
The of mother Moses, “… took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank.” (Exodus 2:3)
In the third month, the daughter of Moses saw the ark of bulrushes at the bank of the river, and when she opened it, “…She saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children” (Exodus 2:6)
The coming out of an ark of bulrushes into the palace of Moses was his time for his redemption.
The time of the third over the life of Esther:
The favor that brought deliverance for Mordecai and the Israelites in the hand of the wicked Harman began on the third day as Esther stepped on the court of King Ahasuerus.
Esther 5:1-2 records, “Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. So it was when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand…”  The favor gained on the third answered for the deliverance of Mordecai and the Israelites.
The time of the third with Jesus:
Jesus does nothing by accident to have taken the third day as the resurrection time.
The time of the third is a miracle.
Claim the miracle of the third, remind God as stated in Isaiah 43:26, “Put me in remembrance; let us contend together; state your case that you may be acquitted.”
God is not partial but will attend to your case.

Prayer for today: Ask that God give you the miracle of the third.

WHAT DO YOU CARRY

FAITH CAPSULE: What are you carrying that you do not know?

Exodus 4

Many do not know what they carry to turn to God.
Moses does not know what he carries and could not turn to God instantly.
Physically, spiritually or emotionally, where have you turned, turning, or about to turn away from God?
One that turns from God is taking a position to be lost from God and not arrive at the calling of God.
Moses was stubborn before he answered to the calling of God and needed to turn to God.
Exodus 3:3-4 records, “Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn. So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”
PRAYER
Ask that wherever you have turned away from God consciously or unconsciously, God shall have mercy to make you turn to Him.
Ask that whatever is keeping you not to turn to God shall become separated from you.
Ask that you be enabled to live life for God.
WHAT IS IN YOU THAT YOU CARRY BUT DO NOT KNOW TO LIVE LIFE IN DIVINE ASSIGNMENT OF GOD?
Moses was carrying a ROD ( that is simple, not look important) in his hand, but when the calling of God sounded in his direction, he answered with boldness and character to resume the calling of his life.
Exodus 4:2 records, “So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.”
God responded to Moses in Exodus 4:17, “And you shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”
PRAYER
Ask that the word of God that will open your understanding to engage what you carry to live life in the divine assignment should answer in your direction.
(BOLDNESS AND CHARACTER ARE A WINNING COMBINATION)
Ask that boldness and character of God shall be activated in your life to resume for the glory of God.
The rod in the hand of God answers as a force of navigation for the Israelites.
The rod in the hand of Moses answers as the miracle in the hand of Moses.
What is holding you from turning to God?
What is in you that you carry but do not know to live life in the divine assignment of God?
One can run but will not be able to hide from God.
When the appointed time of the calling of God is up, there will be no more place to run or hide from God.
Moses could not run away from the calling of God.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 assures about the calling of God, “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
Do you have any reason to run from answering the calling by God?

Prayer for today:
Ask for wisdom and knowledge to answer to the calling of God.
Ask that you will not live a life of waste but live life for God.
