DO YOU KNOW GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Do you know God or know about God?

John 1

Among the reasons not to know God but knows about God are:
Forgetting attributes of God
Lack of Understanding
Truth is not appealing to the world
Forgetting attributes of God
Forgetting attributes of God, not being thought about God will not know God.
Deuteronomy 4:5-6 buttresses, “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. 6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding…”
A failure to give self to studying the word of God will not understand the attributes of God, to know God.
Lack of Understanding
A failure to give attention to the word of God will result in a listening disability. Jesus questioned and answered why lack of understanding, “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.” (John 8:43)
It is not possible to understand who one does not know.
The world is too busy and not to give attention to God.
Are you giving attention to listening to the word of God?
One that listens will know to gain an understanding of God.
He is a good God, the only God that reverses irreversible.
Truth is not of the wicked world
Truth is not popular, is not acceptable to the world. It is not possible to know what is not accepted and not believed.
John 8:45-47 records the word of Jesus that speaks the truth about not knowing God, “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. 46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? 47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore, you do not hear, because you are not of God.” One that does not accept truth to believe does not know God that is true.
You must know God to come out of the religion of this wicked world.
The evidence of one that knows God is to be living by the word of God.
One must know God to come out of the religion of the wicked world.
One that studies the word of God will know God but is a costly sacrifice.
To know God is seeking God diligently, to please God in the ways of life. Hebrews 11:6 informs all, “But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
You must know God because knowing about God is not enough to escape the lasting pain for one that does not know God.

Prayer for today: Ask God to make you know Him and live life for God.

POWER OF GOD

FAITH MAIL: Power that belongs to God is in His word.

John 11:1-44

The word of God is God. (John 1:1)
The word of God is the power of God.
Hebrews 4:12 accounts, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
One that gives self to the word of God, the power of God is giving and getting the attention of God without failing in the journey of life.
Giving self to the word of God is worshiping God to gain His attention. Exodus 34:14 states, “For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
What is the challenge that is denying you from giving yourself to the word of God?
The power of God, the word of God, delivers and preserves in the challenges of this world.
The word of God is the power of God that will bring physical or spiritual death back to life.
For example, when Lazarus was dead for four days, it was the word of God that brought Lazarus back to life.
At the death of Lazarus, Jesus spoke the word with the command to bring Lazarus to life, “Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:41-44)
Is there any challenging situation with the need to gain life and not die in any endeavor of life?
Give self to the word of God that is more than able to give possibility in the place of impossibility.
Give self to the word of God, give thanks to God for what He is doing, and what God will do over your life.
With obedience to the word of God for the people to move the stone as commanded by Jesus, it was thanksgiving that activated the power that rose Lazarus from the grave of death.
Giving thanks to God with understanding is the powerful word of God that gave life in the position of death for Lazarus.
Do not be instigated, and let not anxiousness deny you from truth the character of the word of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be enabled to live life by the word of God.

CLAIM HIS PROMISE

FAITH CAPSULE: With faith with patience, claim the promise of God.

Romance 4

Life is a journey.
Engaging in the journey of life demands unfailing faith and patience.
Faith with patience is like the key to the ignition vehicle of the journey.
The Bible describes faith as: “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
ABOUT FAITH AND PATIENCE
FAITH
Faith does have a source.
The Bible emphasizes the source of faith: “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17).
Take to mind that the word of God which comes can also cease from coming when there is disengagement from hearing the word of God.
The journey of life demands constant engagement to the word of God.
To be having faith and patience shall make one as the just one.
Habakkuk 2:4 buttresses, “…the just shall live by his faith.
All that pertains to living life is living by the word of God (living by faith).
2 Corinthians 5:7 encourages walk by faith, not by sight.
1 Corinthians 16:13 records, we watch, stand by faith.
Acts 15:9 points out that faith purifies the heart.
Ephesians 2:8 records, we are saved by faith through grace.
Without a doubt, patience is crucial for anyone journeying through life to have faith in God.
PATIENCE
Patience is the ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.
Faith plus patience will be full of faith, to answer as faithful.
Many have faith, but the majority are not faithful.
As an acclaimed believer, do you have faith with patience to claim the blessings of God as one that is pleasing God?
Abraham is an example of one that engaged in the journey of life, having faith with patience to obtain the promises of God.
The Bible records the promise of God for Abraham in his journey of life: “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.” (Genesis 17:1-4)
Abraham had faith and patience that enabled him not to doubt the promise of God to make him a father, despite having passed the age of bearing a child.
Romans 4:20-22 records the journey of faith and the patience of Abraham:
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
Are you with faith and patience to claim the promise of God?
James 1:4 encourages, “But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”
God shall not fail you if you have and know to hold on faith with patience.

Prayer for today: Pray that faith and patience shall be your way of life.

WHICH WAY?

FAITH CAPSULE: Which way are you engaging?

John 14

Which way are you taking in your journey from life to the afterlife?
After the withdrawal of the breath of life given to you by the One and only creator, where will you land to spend eternal life?
In your life, are you moving by the assumption of the way you engage with yourself?
Proverbs 14:12 warns against the assumption, “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.”
Today, stop going by assumption the truth twister is with deception to deny your arrival in the presence of God.
Ask not to be a victim of the twister of the truth.
The twister of the truth can be constantly consistent with the effort to load one with confusion.
Often it operates giving attention to an opportune time to seize one to be captured with twisted truth.
Devil itself demonstrated what it means to seize with twisted truth.
When he approached Jesus with repeated temptations that failed, not able to seize Jesus, he promised to attempt at the opportune time.
Luke 4:13 records the response of the Devil before Jesus after he fails to tempt Jesus, “Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.”
The twister of the truth is exceedingly deceptive and will disguise to execute destruction.
Be warned, know that the twister of the truth operates with no exempt of who to approach to destroy.
The twister of the truth can be in your near or distance, looking for one to devour.
The twister of the truth operates with darkness to deny, derail one in the journey not to arrive at the presence of God.
Which way are you engaging?
The journey to arrive at the presence of God is in the way that is true and is with life.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life not to miss out on the presence of God.
John 14:6 records the word of Jesus, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Today, come out of assumption, give yourself the way, the truth, and the life.
In the way, the truth and the life is an unfailing way not to fail to arrive at the presence of God.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and demands all to know the truth.
John 8:32 testifies, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Many acclaimed believers are taking to the way they assume in the place of the way, the truth that leads to eternal life.
Many claims to know the truth, but not free.
Which way are you engaging in your journey while on earth not to miss the life in heaven?
The word of God is not a story but demands diligence to be engaged, knowing the truth to be free.
Stop assuming the way Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Prayer for today: Ask to know the way, the true, and the life.

IT BELONGS TO GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: Time belongs to God alone, not to any man.

Isaiah 40

Time belongs to God, but the clock belongs to man to turn forward or backward.
The appointed time of God is the fullness of His time.
Galatians 4:4 points out, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman…”
God has made everything beautiful in its time, not by the clock of man. Ecclesiastes 3:11 records, “He has made everything beautiful in its time…”
Time belongs to God is the reason for all to trust and hope in Him as Psalm 62:8 admonishes all, “Trust in Him at all times…”
Are you counting on God to wait on His time or waiting on man for a clock?
It does not matter how long you monitor your clock, but it matters not to make your move until it is the timing of God for you.
Mind you to know that time belongs to God.
God is not a slave master but a saving master. He alone is the perfect creator that knows time before time. God will not force you to focus on Him, but you focus on his face to reflect on you.
Time of God demands waiting on Him.
Waiting for the fullness of His time demands to have trust and hope.
In a time of expectation from God, do not assume to move outside of the timing of God.
With patient is to wait for the time of God as Psalm 40:1 testifies: I waited patiently for the Lord, And He inclined to me and heard my cry.
James 5:7 encourages by adding persevering to the patient when waiting on the timing of God: Therefore, be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.
The timing of God does not delay or disappoint to fail for one that waits patiently on Him.
In your waiting on the timing of God, do not compare your waiting time with others but remain patient not to move outside of the timing of God.
Waiting on the timing of God and not move by comparing to others, give self to the word of Isaiah 40:31, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
In your waiting for the time of God, do not run where you are to walk, do not walk where you are to run.
Keep the focus on the timing of God to discover that delay is not a denial to arrive at the destination.

Prayer for today: Ask that patient to be waiting on the time of God shall be your portion.
