Theyhave heart a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed Children2Peter 2:14

As a child of God, when you begin toloose a battle that God has already delivered into your hand, there is a needfor check up. Also, when you are on a victory lane in every area of yourbattle, be conscious of forces that could derail you from the winnerÕslane.ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊ

The wallof Jericho was supposed to be one of thegiant confrontations for the children of Israel. The LORD gave them victory by shouting and blowing trumpets. Inaddition to the victory, God gave a commandment. Josh. 6:18 ÒAnd you, by all means abstainfrom the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of theaccursed. Havingbrought down the wall of Jericho in your life, you will expectvictory to be your identity. When you fail to identify with the commandment ofGod, you will loose your identity as a winner. On our way to Canaan, war is a frequent engagement. Afull compliance with the word of God is your only vehicle of transportation toyour Canaan Land. After bringing down the wall of Jericho, the children of Israel moved against the people of Ai.Being a winner, they assumed victory because the people of Ai were few innumber. The war turned out to be a thorn in their flesh. One person violatedthe LORDÕs commandment; all the people paid the price. Have you violated any ofHis commandments consciously or unconsciously in any area of your life? YourPast victory will not compliment for your present battle. Every battle demandsa different approach. Past victory could not compliment for the children of IsraelÕs future victory. They werestruck; they were chased; the heart of the people melted.

Joshua, the leader, turned to God for directions to get back on victory lane. God saidto Joshua ÒIsrael has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. Forthey have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen anddeceived; and they have also put it among their ownstuff (Josh.7:11).ÊÊÊÊ

ÊIt doesnot matter how long ago you have taken the accursed; it could be the cause foryour current failures. Set yourself unto God, ask for His light that willenable you to see and destroy the accursed things in your life.

InJosh. 7:21 Achan the one that took accursedthing confessed that he coveted and he took. Covetousness is the root ofaccursed. God said in His ten commandments; thou shall not covet. Cry unto Godand ask for covetousness to die in all areas of your life.

~Discovered?~

When youdiscover yourself, you will recover all that has wasted away in your life.

Rememberthe prodigal son? He could not wait and he wasted in a far country. He went tohis father and got the portion of goods that falls to him. He was moving aheadof time because he could not wait for the appointed time. He journeyed to a farcountry and wasted all his possessions. When you move out of GodÕs plan foryour life, you will waste. He promised He will supply your need according toHis riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Why the rush? Has he ever failed you orare you yet to discover that He is the almighty over all that is all?

Theprodigal son spent all, famine started, and he gladly fed himself with thepods. He settled himself with less because he reduced himself. As a child ofGod, your current predicament is the result of your disability to wait. It hassettled you for less. It settled you where God has not placed you. Lk.15:17,ÒBut when he came to himself, he said,Õ How many of my fatherÕs hired servantshave bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! He discoveredhimself and went back to recover his beginning. Ask God for the grace ofwaiting. Discover yourself and recover.Ê

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊIf you move before He moves you, you will be removed.

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊAlso, if you do not move when He moves you, you will

ÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊÊbe removed. He acts for the one who waits for Him (Is. 64:4)Ê

ÔSetyour house in order, for you shall die, and not liveÕ (2King 20:1)

After overfour hundred years of bondage the children of Israel did not depart from Egypt just any way. At the time of their departure from bondage, Godled the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the Children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out ofthe land of Egypt Ex. 13:18. Because God was leading, there hasto be order in place. At every time He is in a position of leading in ourlife.Ê It has to be according to His order. Are you allowing Him to take theleadership? Do you assume that He is leading when you are not letting Him? Godis waiting to take a lead in your life. Are you willing to move according toHis order? His order is direction. It is the password that will access you toyour breakthrough in the journey of life. In the area of life you have beenfacing opposition, hindrance, confusion, or every other forces of stagnationyou need to retrace your step.

Ê~Disorder~

Walking indisorder can take life. 2Kin. 18:4-8 pointed out all that Hezekiahdid. God was leading Him and he was able to remove idols, broke their sacredplaces; he trusted in the LORD God of Israel; he held fast to the LORD; the LORD was with Him. Ê2Kin. 20:1Hezekiah became sick and near to death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to Him and said to him,Ó Thus says the LORD: ÔSet your house in order, foryou shall die, and not live.Õ Ó Are you dying fromlack of order? Turn your face to the LORD and pray. Hezekiah did, and God heardHezekiahÕs cry.Ê God added fifteen more years to Hezekiah. It is never too latefor you to cry to Him for your life to be restored.

Walking indisorder will deny you from getting to the promise land if you let it. Numbers20:2 Now there was no water for the congregation of Israel; so they gatheredtogether against Moses and Aaron. In verse 7, God gave Moses directionto be carried out in order. ÊMoses was to speak to the rock; he went and spoketo the people by calling them rebels in (Verse 10). Out of GodÕs order is outof GodÕs ordination. Moses was to lead the Israelites to promise Land.He was denied because he went out of the order that God gave him. He did not getto the promise land. Moses was a giant in the LORD. It is a serious issue andit has to be taken with serious attention. It does not matter how strong orweak you are in the LORD. Whenever disorder sets in your journey, you will beoff set in that Journey. God in His goodness and mercy will keep you fromtaking a step of disorder.

~Calendar~

Ex.12:1,2 Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, ÒThis month shall be yourbeginning of the month; it shall be the first month of the year to youÓ. This is an indication of a changein calendar. God gave them a new order of month arrangement. ÊGod was about tomove them out of years of bondage. It was time for change.Ê The old way of readingtheir months was to be replaced by a new way of reading their months. God wasabout to exchange their calendar with a new

calendar. Itwas a calendar for a new beginning in their journey. A new calendar will give anew purpose in life, a new testimony, a new direction, and focus on thegreatness God. God changed their calendar.Ê The angel of death passed throughthe land without touching them or any of their belongings. God can change yourcalendar for good and for better. Where ever hundreds, tens are falling, youwill remain standing. He is not a partial God. God is a perfect God. God is aGod of new beginning. I pray this day as you set your eyes on this good news,God will start a new calendar in your life and in every area that concerns you.Great is His faithfulness. I pray that the newness of His mercy shall be added untoyou in Jesus name.Ê

Ps.107:20He sent His word and healed them.

Anddelivered them from their destructions.

Many heardand saw His word. Only few received

His word.Receive His word and He will heal and

deliver you.

Theydid not remember the multitude of Your mercies, But rebelled by the sea (Psalm106:7)

Quite a number of places mentionedin the bible that God is a jealous God. Na 1:2 mentioned that God isjealous, and the Lord avenges; God Himself declared in Ex. 20:5that you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God,am a jealous God. The antidote for jealousy is attention. One that doesnot remember can not give attention. God deserves your attention. God wants youto be mindful of His wonders. After four hundred and thirty years in bondage, the children of Israel had a breakthrough from the houseof bondage but were not mindful of the wonders that delivered them. Psalm106:7 mentioned that they did not remember the multitude of Your mercies, Butrebelled by the sea Ð the red sea. To lack to remember God is an act ofrebellion to God. 1Sam15:23 mentioned that rebellion is as the sin ofwitchcraft. The only way not to remember Him in time of challenges iswhen you forget His works. Give God lot of attention and He will attend a lotto you.

~Whenyou forget~

**When youforget His work you will miss His counsel and exceeding lust will reign andrule your life.

**When you forget, you will envy. Toenvy is to covet. To covet is an act of wickedness and it only leads to death.

**When you forget, you will complain. The act of complain will cause you not to heed to the voice of (God Psalm106:25). One that is busy complaining will be busy not to hear Hisvoice when He speaks.

Are youcomplaining about a pending situation now? Get out of it because it will shutyour heaven and you will fail to hear Him.

**When you forget to remember youwill reverse to being ruled by your enemies and oppression will reign.

I pray toGod in the name of Jesus Christ that the spirit that causes a man to lack inremembering God will die to its root in your life.

~He remembers~

Gen 8:1Godremembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with himin the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waterssubsided. Ipray that water of affliction in your life will subside as you become mindfulof the works of God in your life.

1Sam.1:19 Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD, andreturned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. Bareness ceased. I pray that every area ofbareness in your life-spiritual, financial, and unfruitfulness will give way tofruitfulness in Jesus name.

~Aboveall~

Rememberto keep His command in every battle you face.1Sam. 13:1-14 Saul as king was tobattle the Philistines at Gilgal. He was to wait for seven days. He failedbecause he saw that the people scattered from him and Samuel did not show upwithin the appointed days. He went outside the command of God. He forgot Hisworks and he missed the counsel of God. Saul was looking at the people todeliver him. Let me tell you today that God is able in every battle that youare fighting; if you will remember not to look outside of Him. He will sendhelp at His appointed time. People will scatter but GodÕs timing will notscatter if you do not scatter from it. Samuel came after SaulÕs departure fromGodÕs command. Samuel then told Saul that SaulÕs kingdom will no longercontinue. Saul will no longer be a commander because God has sought for Himselfa man after His own heart. Saul failed to remember the command given to him sohe could no longer be in command. Psalm 27:14 says Wait on the LORD; Beof good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD.

Rememberto always remember Him. He remembered Noah, Hannah, and He is stillremembering. God will remember you in Jesus name Amen.

When we walk with God it is not comfort before obedienceÉ

it is obedience before comfort.

Now bythis we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments (1John 2:3)

It is recorded in Psalm 119:130that the entrance of the word of God gives light; It gives understanding to thesimple.

One willwonder if the thousands or millions that go to church on Saturday, Sunday orany day of the week are actually letting the word have its entrance. It isimpossible to know the word without knowing God because the word of God is God.So many people claim to know God but it is evident in the world today that onlyan extremely few number actually know God while huge numbers only demonstratethe knowledge about God. If the numbers of believers today actually know God, darknessshould not be prevailing as much as it is prevailing in the world of today. 1John1:5say God is light and in Him is no darkness. It is not possible to knowHim and not reflect Him. You can agree with me that if most population ofSaturday or Sunday knows God indeed and in truth, darkness would probably havedisappeared on the face of the earth. You can not know Him and not reflect Him.

~Areality Check~

Can yousincerely check yourself if you know Him? I am not asking if you know aboutHim. I ask this because anything that is short of Knowing God is a cut off fromgoing to God at the appointed time.

The book of1John 2:3 declared that now by this we know that we know Him if we keep Hiscommandments.

~ Commandments?~

ÊJesussaid in Matt. 22: 37-40 ÒYou shall love the LORD your God with all yourheart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Vs. 38 ÒThis is the firstand great commandments. Vs.39 ÒAnd the second is like it: ÔYou shall love yourneighbor as yourself.Õ Vs.40 ÒOn these two commandments hang all the Law andthe ProphetsÓ. It is very clear with no interpretation that, when welove as God requires us; then we know that we know Him. The love that isrequired of you is not in word or in tongue but it is the love in deed and intruth.

1Cor.13:4-8pointed out what it is to love. Love suffers long; does not parade itself; notpuffed up; not behave rudely; not seek its own; not provoked; thinks no evil;rejoice not in iniquity but in truth; bears all things; believes all things;hopes all things; endures all things; never fails

~APossibility? ~

All thatlove requires seems to be impossible. Be encouraged, it is possible to love asGod requires because with God nothing is impossible. When you desire it, Godwill deposit it. Determination will fail and your strength will not stand. Onlythe grace of God will prevail. It is written in 1Sam.2:9 for by strengthshall no man prevail.

Ê~RememberPeter? ~

Peterwalked with Jesus man to man and he witnessed the entire miracle you can thinkof. He was very determined that he will not deny Jesus. Jesus knew that Peterwould deny Him three times before the cock crows. ÊPeter denied Jesus because determinationfailed Peter when he needed to stand for Jesus in love and in truth. Grace ofthe Lord Jesus Christ passed Peter.

Oursalvation is in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. However, should we ignorethe commandment or act like we do not recognize or consider the commandment toochallenging to abide with?

Paulsaid in Rm.6:1 shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? He answered invs. 2 certainly not.

The wordof God pointed out to us that the Lord is coming back for a spotless church; achurch without wrinkle. You are the temple: the church of God.

Purposeof the commandment is love from a pure heart,

Froma good conscience and from a sincere faith (1Tim.1:5).

I praythis day that God in His goodness and mercy will endue

you withHis spirit of love indeed and in truth.

Butwhen the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand and thegirl arose

(Matt.9:25)

What role is multitude (crowd)playing in your life? Multitude could be a hindrance. If you let multitude, itwill not let you get to where the LORD has destined for you to be. Multitude willridicule you, discourage you, delay you and deny you from rising above yourcircumstances. When you fail to recognize the representative of multitude inyour life, ÊÊyou become stagnated and your miracle becomes an obstacle.

Taking thelife of Zacchaeus and Bartimaeus into consideration, much can belearned in breaking hindrances of multitude that frequently deny you.

~Zacchaeus~

Zacchaeus,a tax collector, was short in stature; a physical limitation that has been inplace to deny him in inviting Jesus into his home. He recognized his limitationbut rejected it from being an excuse for not seeking Jesus. Zacchaeus ran aheadof the crowd because he wanted to see Jesus. He was not attempting to join thecrowd in knowing about Jesus. He wanted to see Jesus because to see is toreceive Jesus into his house. Zacchaeus recognized that it requires more thanrunning to see Jesus. He stepped up his effort in attempt to see and receiveJesus. What are your efforts to see Jesus? Your pastorÕs knowing you, payingtithes, going to church on Sundays is not enough to overcome the crowd in theworld of today. Zacchaeus (Lk.19:4) did not just run heclimbed up into a sycamore tree. Can you imagine a man of short statureclimbing a tree in an effort to see and receive Jesus into his house? Luke19:5 recorded that when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw and saidto him, ÒZacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at yourhouseÓ. You cannot have Jesus in your house and be short in any area oflife.Ê Ê

~Bartimaeus~

A certainblind man used the crowd as an indicator but not an accommodation. Lk18:36 Bartimaeus heard amultitude passing by, he asked what it meant. Multitude told him that Jesus waspassing (theyserved as an indicator for Bartimaeus). In vs. 38 he cried out saying ÒJesus,Son of David, have mercy on me.Ê ÊThe same crowd that gave him indicationabout JesusÕ passing warned him to be quiet. He refused to accommodate thecrowdÕs direction but cried out even more. In vs. 42, Jesus said to himreceive sight your faith has made you well. Use multitude as anindicator but never accommodate multitude in your situation. Ask God to put thecrowd outside of your life so you receive sight to rise for His calling in yourlife.

ÊÊÊ

~Putting-Out~

Jesus putout the crowd in an attempt to restore Jairus daughterÕs life Matt.9:25 But when the crowd was putoutside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl rose. Just like in many other miracles,Jesus put the crowd out before the miracle took place.

LikeJesus, Peter also put out crowd. Dorcas described as full of good worksbecame sick and died. Peter was requested to come and raise her. In Acts 9:40 Peter put them all out, and kneltdown and prayed. And turning to the body he said, ÒTabitha, arise.Ó Andshe opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

Putting-Outcrowd is the wayup to Jesus. As you have set eyes on this letter, I pray that God in Hisgoodness and mercy will putout every thing that is representing multitude orcrowd in every area of your life. I pray that every one of your obstacles beconverted into miracles in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.Ê

Greatbattles in the Bible were not won by multitudeÉ.but

by thehand of God. Let us extend our hands of request

togetherand He will raise us from obstacles.
