This new season, know how to gain and retain the presence of God.
The presence of God is in the word of God.
In the Word of God is His direction.
In the word of God is His promise.
In the Word of God is His healing.
God sent His word to heal and deliver.
Psalm 107:20 informs, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
Why not gain and retain the presence of God?
The word of God is God.
All with the desire to gain and retain the presence of God should give regard to the word of God as a way of life.
Psalm 138:2 records that, “For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”
Gain and retain the word of God.
Hearing the word of God constantly to gain and retain His word shall live life for the glory of God.
Obedience to the word of God is a sacrifice.
Sacrifice is to live by the word of God with commitment, not when or how convenient or not.
Sacrificially, it is not convenient but a must to give to the word of God.
Sacrifice before God entails waiting on God to gain acceptance from God.
God is not a slave master to force on anyone, but a saving master for deliverance and preservation.
Disobedience to the word of God will expose one to the forces of the enemy.
Wait on God to gain and retain His presence.
Know that God is waiting on all with desire for the entrance of Him to one who knows how to wait for the entrance of God.
Revelations 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
Do you have ears to hear the knocking of God to gain entrance into your life?
One who waits for God will recognize His knocking to open the entrance for God.
Knowing God is not the same as knowing about God.
The majority, particularly acclaimed believers of God, ones that live life in the building in the name of the church, only know about God but do not know God.
Many are conversant in quoting the word of God, yet far from God that is near to all, at all times.
The majority only know about God but do not know God.
Without a doubt, one cannot love God and not know God.
How can a man know God and not love God?
Knowing God starts by listening to His word.
Listening to the word of God is the ability to gain and retain His presence.
Listening to the word of God will gain understanding and become a building for God.

Prayer for Today: Pray that God will enable you to gain and retain His presence in your life.
