MOVE FOR HIS CALLING

FAITH CAPSULE: God has a purpose for every one of His creations.

Exodus 3:1-12

When the calling of God sounds in your direction, there shall be no excuse or hiding to disregard the calling of God.
When God speaks to you, what He wants to do with you will be to introduce you to yourself and know who you are in the hand of God.
When it was time for the calling of Moses, God spoke to Moses to have a new change.
Moses knew himself to be what the Lord wanted for him to be.
At the time Moses was running from Pharaoh, at his hidden location, God located Moses for his divine assignment.
Before God, one can run from the calling of God but not possibly hide. God called to send Moses to Pharaoh, “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” (Exodus 3:10)
Moses does not know himself as His creators know him.
Moses responded to God, “…Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11) You are thinking about who you are, not knowing that God knows you more.
In the calling by God, it is not about who you are but who God says you are by what He calls you to be.
God has a purpose for all His creations because He does not create by accident.
Once, He told Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
As much as Moses tried to avoid the calling of God over his life, God made Moses realize that He would certainly be with Him.
God spoke to Moses, “So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” (Exodus 3:12)
For Joshua, it was not about who Joshua sees himself to be.
It was about whom God called Joshua to the count.
After the death of Moses, God spoke to Joshua, “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.” (Joshua 1:3)
Moving from convenience to commitment is not a cordial move.
When it is time for one to become moved, situations will force one, and God will give such a formal call of who you are and what He wants for you to be.
Moses was relocated from the palace to a place of nowhere to hide and to respond to what God called him to be.

Prayer for today: Ask God to guide you so you will not miss your divine schedule.
