GRACE AND MERCY

FAITH CAPSULE: The grace and mercy of God brought you this far.

Philippians 4

What are your thoughts so far? God has brought you.
One who can think will know to thank God, for He is merciful.
Romans 9:15 informs all, “For He says to Moses, ‘I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”
From the first month of the year to this hour is a great privilege of God
that have brought you this far.
Continually thank God for His grace and mercy, which is not partial.
Acknowledge God for your going and coming is His grace and mercy.
Ask for the grace and mercy that brought you this far, and they shall not expire over your life.
Know God so that you do not live by sin.
God has brought all thus far.
Pray to fear God. One who lives by the fear of God is evidence of one who lives by His word.
The majority know about God but do not know God.
The evidence of not knowing God is sin and sinning before God.
The whole world is full of sin.
Sin and sinning are evidence of not fearing God.
When there is no fear, sin takes over in the form of wickedness.
Wickedness ravages the world.
God saw the wickedness of all.
Genesis 6:5-7 records, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually….”
Knowing God will strive against sin.
Search if the self is continually evil.
Deceive yourself not, pray against sin in your life, not to live wasted.
Keep in mind that God has brought you thus far.
In the coming days, weeks, months, and years, with desire, strive to live a life of responsibility.
Seeking God is not only about attending or engaging in church activity.
In life, the desire to pursue creates the purpose to achieve.
Pursuing with purpose demands an investment of responsibility.
Responsibility is a price to excel for the glory of God.
Are you responsible before God?
To live a life of responsibility with a commitment to God is to seek God with all heart, soul, and strength.
Deuteronomy 4:29 records seeking God to find Him, “…you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and, with all your soul.”
Responsibility is a choice to find God and to gain His presence.
Pray that you will live a responsible life, all the days He has given you.
Be responsible, running after the things of God, not of the world.
Have the desire for your need to be in the way of God.
Live satisfactorily by trusts and hopes in the word of God to settle needs.
Philippians 4:19 records the promise of God, “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Seeking God for wants instead of needs demonstrates trust in God but no hope in the promise of God.

Prayer for today: Ask to be a vessel with a spirit of satisfaction.
