OPEN YOUR HEART

FAITH CAPSULE: Let the Word of God gain entrance into the heart.

Ezekiel 3

The destination of the word of God is the heart of all.
Repeatedly, verses in the Bible record that the word of God is for the heart.
Deuteronomy 11:18 records, “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart…”
Job 22:22 states, “Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart.”
Psalm 119:11 states, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.”
Proverbs 4:4 records, “He also taught me, and said to me: ‘Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live.”
Revelation 17:17 states, “For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.”
The truth to know and live by is in the Bible.
The heart is the place, the house for the word of God.
Do you have a place for the word of God in your heart?
The heart is where the word of God resides when the heart opens.
A heart that does not open for the word of God is empty and not able to live by the word of God.
Jesus, the living Word of God, testifies to the need to gain permission for the entrance of the Word of God, not to force it.
Revelation 3:20 records the word of God, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
What holds you to deny the entrance of the Word of God into your heart?
Make the right choice, that your heart be the house of the word of God.
In the word of God, there is healing, deliverance, and preservation.
It is the wisdom of God to have the desire for a room for the word of God.
Ezekiel 3:10 records, “Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears.”
Every time we hear the Word of God, the heart works in tandem with our ears to receive the living Word of God for living life for the glory of God.
Hearing and listening are evidence of receiving, which ultimately reaches the heart.
Before God spoke to Ezekiel, He caught his attention by opening the heavens for him to see visions of God (Ezekiel 1:1).
The visions that Ezekiel saw enable him to focus his ears, to listen wholeheartedly.
Do you know how to open the heart as an entrance for the Word of God?
Taking time to study the word of God is a valuable resource.
Any word that enters and does not produce a result should be suspicious since the word did not enter only to arouse emotions.

Prayer for today: Ask for the Word of God to carry you and set you for His glory.
