Mark 4:35-41
Mark 4:35, on the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, ÒLet us cross over to the other side.Ó V.36, now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. It is a new day, a new week, a new month and a new year. Are you crossing over with Jesus in your boat or you are crossing over with Jesus out of your boat? For you to cross over, you will have to put every representative of multitudes in your life behind. Let multitude stay behind and do not bring them into your new day, week, month and year. Multitudes are agent of discouragement, denial and hindrance. When Jesus invited the disciples for cross over, there was a need to leave the multitude behind. The journey is long, and there will be windstorm; journey can also be destructive and life consuming. You have to let the multitude in your life out of your journey for the new beginning. In your last year, multitudes were nothing good but evil. Multitudes are not predictable in terms of where they will be hiding but Jesus is very predictableÉHe will not fail you in this New Year. Accept His invitation; cross over with Him and He will see you through.
