IT IS A MUST!

FAITH CAPSULE: Seek God sacrificially and please Him in His way but not in your way.

Numbers 22

Man must seek God in His appropriate to seek Him and see Him. It is important for man to seek God for man’s attainment before God. Are you seeking Him diligently or carelessly? God is the Creating creator we must seek Him diligently. When Balaam was moving in opposite direction to God’s word, God opened mouth of donkey where there was no man to speak correction into Balaam’s life. Numbers 22:28, recorded “Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” Seek God, be available for Him and disallow seeking any outside of God. Who are you seeking? In the place of seeking God, are you seeking prophet-liar or false apostle?
When man is not available for God, God will make use of stone or donkey.
Waiting on God is seeking God by waiting on God that waits to act for those who wait on Him. Isaiah 30:18 testified, “Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore, He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” Man must seek God with attention, expecting to find God and receive from Him. (lame man in Acts3:1-10 is an example)
Jealous God is not a slave master that will force man to seek Him but a saving God. Seeking God demands understanding to seek Him sacrificially and to please Him to see Him. SACRIFICE: Sacrificially to seek God must be worthy and costly. Abel’s worthy and costly sacrificial offering to seek God made him to attain respect from God. It is written, “Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering.” (Genesis 4:4) God cannot be deceived to receive from Him. Cain the brother of Abel could not seek God with a worthy and costly sacrifice.
PLEASING: Pleasing God is in man’s action. God sees in our action and it measures in weight before Him. It is written, “…For the Lord is the God of knowledge; and by Him actions are weighed.” (1 Samuel 2:3) Action was the faith of a paralytic man that was carried by four men tearing through the roof to seek Jesus. Mark 2:5 recorded Jesus’ response, “When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” Jesus saw the paralytic man and he was healed. Without doubt, without faith God is not pleased but with faith, God is pleased.
Find God by seeking Him sacrificially and please Him in His way but not in your way.
