LEARN TO KNOW AGAINST WRONG DECISION

The Bible records, “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. ” (Romans 15:4)
When there is no learning in the written word of God there will be a lack of knowledge. The lack of knowledge is also the identity of those who KNOW ABOUT but, not KNOW the written word of God.
Jesus demonstrated the reason for all man to know the word of God.
Just like Jesus, it is a must to learn, to know the word of God for decoration and declaring the word of God as stated in Matthew 4:3-4, “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
Are you learning the word of God to become decorated by the word of God and be living life declaring against any WRONG DECISIONS concerning your life?
A decision is a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration.
Making a right or wrong decision will prompt consequence in the journey of life.
In the journey of your life, a decision that was made on your behalf yesterday or decision which you made for yourself will affect or determine where you are today and where you will be tomorrow.
Today, many are living in a position (painful position) which is the consequence of a decision made by grandparents or parents.
Also, many are living in a position which is the consequence of a self-decision.
Is it a right or wrong decision that is the consequence of your position in life today?
Every position of life that is rooted in the wrong decision of yesterday or today must be addressed prayerfully to reverse the pain of wrong decision of yesterday, today or future.
Among wrong decisions in the Bible with pain consequence are written for our learning:
Jephthah made a decision, making a vow that took the life of her only child.
Judges 11:30-31 records, “And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord, and said, “If You will indeed deliver the people of Ammon into my hands, 31 then it will be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the people of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord’s, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.” What kind of decision have you made to affect your children today or to affect your children’s tomorrow? Jephthah’s vow was the decision for his only child to become the burnt offering before God.
Apostle Paul made a decision to affect his life.
Apostle Paul was warned by the Holy Spirit not to go to Jerusalem. It was his decision that made him go against the Holy Spirit. Bible records: “…They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.” (Acts 21:4) “And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea. 11 When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” (Acts 21:10-11) Apostle Paul was repeatedly warned not to go to Jerusalem but, his decision drove him to Jerusalem, which set him for his death.
In the journey of life, decision making by self or on behalf of one is possible to deliver kinds of pain that can deny, derail or destroy one’s journey of life.
Also, making right or wrong decision as a result of unexpected situation will prompt painful decision to derail, deny or destroy any journey of life.
It was an unexpected situation that prompted the Israelites’ decision to move to Egypt. At Egypt, the Israelites became the slave for over four hundred years. While in slavery, God’s intervention answered for the calling of the Israelites’ deliverance, by His stretch Hand.
Bible records: “So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst, and after that, he will let you go.” (Exodus 3:20)
“And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”” (Exodus 7:5)
It was the stretch hand of God that brought the Israelites out of the decision rooted in challenging which brought them into Egypt where they lived the life of bondage for over four hundred years.
Know and believe that God is the only God that reverses irreversible.
God answered the crying out of prayer of the Israelites that prompted God’s stretch out hand which delivered the Israelites from the bondage of over four hundred years.
Prophesy to your new month as the month of STRETCH OUT HAND OF God.
Prayerfully ask before God that before the end of this new month, you shall come out of every decision that is holding you down not to live life for the glory of God, in Jesus name.

APRIL 2019 FAITH-MAIL

THIS SEASON COME OUT OF THE ROUTE OF THE LOST

God is near to all, but man is continually far from God, taking to the route of the LOST by missing out of God’s promise for REST.
The route to be far from God is the route of LOST.
God’s mindful for all man is the reason why He left His place to come for all man not to LOST but yet man did not get the understanding to live life for the glory of God.
Jesus said, “…for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10) From this day, why not begin to gain understanding and knowledge to seek Jesus and find a place in Him for your salvation?
WHY IS THE LOST OF MAN NOT TO GAIN THE PROMISE OF GOD FOR HIS PEACE?
Jeremiah 50:6 points it out, “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray; They have turned them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill; They have forgotten their resting place.” According to the above Jeremiah’s verse, Shepherds are the contributing role for the LOST ones, but that will not excuse the LOST ones before God from experiencing the consequence of living life as the LOST one.
Jesus came to seek and to save the LOST sheep and the sheep that seek Him in return, will find Him and be saved.
In the man’s calendar of the yearly Easter celebration of Jesus’ price to seek and save the LOST demands understanding that will make the life of a believer be with REST, the promise of God.
For all man, there is no excuse to claim or place acquisition of being led wrong by the shepherds. John 8:31-32 clearly point out that individual should know the truth and not become a victim as the LOST one. John 8:31-32 states: “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
There is no excuse to have been wrongly led if: “…YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH…” From today, seek God to know the truth to keep you save and not become a victim of being led wrong by the Shepherds. All should make the choice not to become the LOST one but, with desire seek God. Psalm 27:4 of David said it clear, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.”
The way of the LOST is the route which leads the LOST one not to gain the REST promise of God for all man.
The REST promise of God is the peace of God.
Hebrews 4:1-3 records, “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, [a]not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest…”
The Hebrews 4:1-3’s prompts questions for all man with the desire to come out of LOST into God’s promise of His PEACE:
Do you have the fear of God to avoid missing His promise?
Have you been hearing to do the word of God enough to be profited by His word?
Do you have the understanding to know that what you hear to mix with faith is the way to gain REST, the peace of God?
The choice of REST in this wicked world is to come out of the LOST by seeking Jesus that have paid the price to seek and save the LOST.

HIDE IN THE LIVING WORD OF GOD!

When the devil thought it was over for the ministry of Jesus on earth, our Lord and Savior rose on the third day. On the third day, the grave of three days led to the birth of new grace. In this third month, if you will continually look up to God for the newness of His mercy, then His grace shall recover all that the enemy has buried concerning your breakthrough.
In this journey of life, have you at any time felt that it is over? Are you experiencing the loss of a ground that has held you high in the community or at your profession? Is it becoming clear to you that there is no way for you to regain your lost ground? Trust and have hope in God for the grace of the third day which answered for Jesus will also answer for your breakthrough.
Experiencing the breakthrough of God’s deliverance and preservation is hiding self in the living word of God.
Among ways of waiting on God is hiding in the living word of God. By waiting on God, it is not possible to become wasted in the journey of life. Waiting on God encourages that God, “…acts for the one who waits for Him.” (Isaiah 64:4)
Are you waiting on God by hiding in the living word of God for His act on your behalf?
Studying to gain understanding in the written word of God will enable one to know and be hiding in the living word of God.
Romans 15:4 records for all man to know that: “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” Having hope is for those who waits on God by hiding in the word of God. If any man will begin to spend time in the word of God as a hiding place continually the agenda of the enemy shall not prevail. In hiding place that is gained in the living word of God there is no way to become exposed for evil agenda.
It is understanding gained in the living word of God that will make one be a believer with prudence. Some verses in the Bible identifies SIMPLE ONES as BELIEVERS while PRUDENCE means one is to be sensible, being cautious in matters. A believer that is not with prudence is a believer that is not complete and limited to gain deliverance available for a believer with prudence. A believer with no prudence is a believer with no mind that considers. Proverbs 14:15 records: “The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps.” The word of God warned against being a believer (simple one) with no prudence (careful one) as stated: “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, But the simple pass on and are punished.” (Proverbs 22:3) Study to learn and know in the word of God that there is a hiding place in the living word of God if you will be a believer with prudence. One that is not hiding self in the word of God is exposing self to the world of wickedness. Wait on God, hid self in His living word for His deliverance and preservation in the living word of God.
The word of God located Elijah to hid in the living word for his deliverance and preservation.
ELIJAH was commanded by the word of God to HIDE not because God cannot shield him, but Elijah must do his part. Elijah hid in the commanding living word of God as stated in 1 Kings 17:2-3 records: “Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”  For Elijah, hiding in the word of God, DELIVERANCE AND PRESERVATION answered. Hiding in the word of God is rooted in full Obedience to the word of God. Elijah’s obedience was his hiding in God’s command when raven was providing bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. (1 Kings 17:6) Begin to hide in the living word of God for your deliverance and preservation.
Jesus demonstrated the need to hide when the challenging situation calls for hiding. Despite the truth that He knows the end from the beginning of His journey through Calvary for His crucifixion, He did not expose Himself to any danger but hide. Matthew 12:15-17 records, “But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great [a]multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. Yet He warned them not to make Him known, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying…” Jesus’ warning not to make Him known is the evidence of not exposing Himself for evil’s agenda to deny the fulfillment of God’s plan. The hiding of Jesus is for all man’s understanding that hiding is wisdom, not foolishness.

FEBRUARY 2019 FAITH-MAIL

THE FEAR OF GOD

The complication of knowing to fear God is not a complication with one with an understanding of God in His word.
It is wise to fear God which no man can hide from His sight.
Psalm 33:13-15 buttressed, “The LORD looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling, He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works.”
Is your works in the fear of God?
God looks from above, to see those who fear Him or those who do not fear Him. It is true that one with no fear of God cannot see Him in His word to observe God with obedience.
Psalmist buttressed: “The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one.” (Psalm 14:2-3) One with the fear of God walks away from corruption which is not hidden from god. To fear God is in studying Him to understand and know His word which the conclusion is of all that matters in living life.
With the fear of God, there is understanding, and two things cannot be denied in the life of one with understanding:
Firstly, “…But knowledge is easy to him who understands.” (Proverbs 14:6) One with the understanding of God will always have a knowing edge over challenges and a peace that surpasses all understanding becomes of one.
Secondly, “Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding…” (Proverbs 14:33) Wisdom is the instruction of God. 1Corinthians 1:30 states, “But of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…” The wisdom of God in the heart of man is Jesus in the life of man to fear God. With fear of God, meditate the word of God day and night to remain in God’s presence.
King David a man identified by God as one after God’s own heart volunteered to teach the fear of the Lord when he stated, “Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” (Psalm 34:11) David knew what he was up to when he made his statement to the ones who have an ear to hear. The fear of God kept David through life’s terminating challenges because of his fear of God.
DO YOU FEAR GOD?
Psalm 34:13-14 identifies four points in one who fears God:

  1. Keep your tongue from evil,
  2. Keep your lips from speaking deceit,
  3. Depart from evil and do good,
  4. Seek peace and pursue it.

In this wicked world, one should meditate what it means to fear God; to gain understanding to know and have the fear of God. The Bible pages pointed out what it means to fear God:
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. (Proverbs 1:7)
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. (Proverbs 8:13)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10)
The fear of the Lord prolongs days. (Proverbs 10:27)
He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, but he who is perverse in his ways despises Him. (Proverbs 14:2)
In the fear of the Lord, there is strong confidence. (Proverbs 14:26)
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snares of death. (Proverbs 14:27)
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom. (Proverbs 15:33)
By the fear of the Lord, one departs from evil. (Proverbs 16:6)
The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. (Proverbs 19:23)
By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4)
The fear of the Lord is His treasure. (Isaiah 33:6)
Psalm 2:11, Serve the Lord with fear.
In the journey of life, Abraham served God because he feared God. Hebrews 11:8 testified, “By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.”
To be living life year after years without the fear of God is not God’s will for all His creation. Just like Abraham, fear God to be obeying His word for remaining in His presence.

JANUARY 2019 FAITH-MAIL

YEAR TO SEEK GOD DILIGENTLY

REST SOLUTION, not NEW YEAR RESOLUTION is all man’s solution to navigate this wicked world without becoming a victim.
For your rest solution, desire, decide and declare the New Year as YEAR OF SEEKING GOD DILIGENTLY. Standard to seek God diligently demands seeking God to please God but not seeking God just by mouth. To be seeking God diligently is driven by faith. Hebrews 11:6 buttressed, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Seeking God diligently is taking a position to find God for man’s life. To seek God diligently is to find Him. Deuteronomy 4:29 buttressed, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Name your New Season or the New-Year as Year of SEEKING GOD DILIGENTLY.
In this wicked world, seek God by serving God to dwell and abide in God.  Psalm 91:1-3 buttressed, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Highest Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.” As a believer, not an unbeliever, it is a secret to seek God by dwelling and abiding in Almighty God.
Seeking God diligently to find God is serving God. Serving God is living life for God.
Seek God is following righteousness as pointed in Isaiah 51:1, “Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the Lord…” With today’s world of wickedness, it is wise for one to listen and to give self to God’s word. One that is not giving ear to hear will not gain an understanding of Him. Jeremiah 16:12 testified, “each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart so that no one listens to Me.”
Seeking God diligently is serving Him. Serving God is also following Him with no hidden agenda because He knows all man. Word of God demands and declare what it means to follow Him. John 12:26, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”
Give self to seeking God diligently to find God. Believe and know that if it is not possible to seek God diligently for finding Him, He would not have asked us to seek Him diligently. One that follows God is not possible to walk in darkness as declared by God’s word which will not lie. John 8:12 confirmed, “He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
God is true. Seek God diligently to find Him. David was a man like us and sought-after God. 1 Kings 14:8 testified, “…My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only    what was right in My eyes.” Are you with the desire to seek God diligently, following His righteousness in His word? Unchanging changer God, yesterday, today and forever once warned against not seeking to follow Him in 1 Kings 9:6-7, “But if you or your sons at all turn from following Me, and do not keep My commandments and My statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will cast out of My sight. Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.” Think and search who or what you have set before your way of living life outside of living life, following God.
Listen, obeying God is seeking diligently to keep self in God as His treasure just as He spoke in Exodus 19:5, “Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.”
Seeking God with heart and soul is to disallow seeking God unpleasingly.
Seek God diligently is fulfilling God’s required condition to see God.
Keeping God’s command is not chasing after world activities.
Keep God’s word to do as commanded in God’s word and to live life for God’s glory.
