ÒÉFear God and keep his commandments for this is manÕs all.Ó (Ecclesiastes 12:13)              < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

ÒThe fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction: he will not be visited with evil.Ó (Proverbs 19:23) The word of God is true; it has never failed, neither would it go back to Him void. The fear of the Lord is all that is needed in a believer to posses all things marked for the believer. The fear of the Lord makes the difference between a believer and a non-believer. The fear of the Lord demarcates the foolish from the wise. No one says it better than the Psalmist in Psalm 14:1, ÒThe fool has said in his heart, ÔThere is no GodÕ They are corrupt, they have done more abominable work, There is none who does good.Ó Foolishness is not to fear God. Fearing God should be sincere and consistent, and is to be evident in a believerÕs conduct. Have you repeatedly confessed the fear of God with no integrity to back it up? Integrity is what counts before God, not a good intention. It is possible to have good intentions without the fear of God. The race of life is not about being good, but being righteous through the blood of Jesus. Job feared God, and this is the testimony of God concerning Job, ÒThen the LORD said to Satan, ÒHave you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.Ó  (Job 2:3) Just as God cannot overlook sin, so He will not overlook sincere and consistent obedience by any of His children. 2 Chronicles 16:9, ÒFor the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…Ó It takes a heart that harbors the fear of God to be loyal to God. It is also confirmed in the word of God that He will not overlook every operation of the heart of man. Just like Job, every man that has operated in the fear of God must have experienced undeniable proofs of GodÕs hand. In contrast, those that have not operated the fear of must have given themselves to self-destruction. Remember LotÕs wife? God specifically commanded Lot and his entourage not to look back on the way of escape from Sodom and GomorrahÕs destruction. Genesis19:17, ÒSo it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, ÒEscape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.Ó There is no excuse before God, but the best position to live is in the fear of God. Genesis 19:26, Ò But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.Ó  Looking back, in this case, is a demonstration of not having the fear of God. It is not possible to listen to the word of God when you do not fear Him. The fear of God is all that leads to life, an abundant life indeed. What is it actually to fear the Lord? David gave the lesson when He volunteered to teach what it means to fear the Lord, Psalm 34:11, ÒCome, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.Ó Having made the offer to teach, he went on to say, Psalm 34:12-14, Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? 13 keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit. 14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.Ó David humbled himself in the presence of God to learn what it means to fear God. Keeping tongue in check, lips from deceit, departing from evil by doing good while seeking peace says it all about what it means to fear God. Among all the benefits of fearing God, abiding in satisfaction is probably the greatest, as mentioned in Proverbs 19:23. Abiding in satisfaction is what we all need; it eliminates every reason for pressing needs. Having satisfaction in God will terminate every visitation of evil. There is no amount of determination that can put the fear of God in a manÕs heart except by prayer. Do you desire to have the fear of God in you so that you may not sin? Pray the prayer of David in Psalm 86:11, ÒTeach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.Ó God is a prayer answering God. If it is your desire to fear Him, He will deposit what it takes for you to fear God. Like He said in Jeremiah 32: 40, ÒÉbut I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.Ó Begin to hate evil. Fear Him and yours will be a fountain of life.

Without fainting or struggle in the face of lack, there will be a provocation of heavenly blessings of satisfaction.

Fear God; turn down manÕs reward for GodÕs reward will turn on showers of GodÕs reward.

ÒThat they may know that You, whose name alone is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth.Ó (Psalm: 83:18)< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

David said, ÒI will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.Ó (2 Samuel 22:4) David was not entertaining with words but he was gaining entrance into the court of God. David was gaining entrance into the presence of God through praise because it is praise that grants access into His court. Psalm 100:4, ÒEnter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.Ó Thanksgiving will get you to the gate and praise will get you into the court. David wanted to get to the court when He declared praise worship for His salvation from his enemies. Praise that is driven by joy, not mouthful praise, but praise from the heart is what will get you to His court. How do you call Him? He has so many names no other god shares because He alone is the great God. Which of His name will you call? It is the name of God that you call that will answer for you. If you call on Him as a God of provision, He will answer to you; and if you call on Him as God of salvation, He will not deny Himself. The question is do you know Him?  Romans 10:13 ÓFor whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.Ó The word says whoever calls, and whoever could mean anyone. Many respond to situations by screaming ÒOh my GodÓ, and sometimes you hear people say ÒOh JezÓ, but it is not an indication or demonstration of knowing Him. Many people know about His name and some actually know His name, but there is a significant difference. Knowing about the name of Jesus will not qualify one to be saved. Knowing about the name of Jesus is different from knowing the name of Jesus. Knowing the name of Jesus is not enough if the one who claims to know Him is not known in Him. To be known in Him is to be living the Word of God daily. It may sound impossible or challenging to be living the word of God, but it is possible to live the word. If the word of God were not livable, God would not have the expectation for us to live by His word. Jesus said, ÒIf you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.Ó (John 15:7) It is not enough to be fluent in His word if there is no abiding in His word. When you abide in Him you will be known in Him. The grace of God is sufficient, and it will make it possible to live the word of God. Whoever knows His name and call on His name shall be saved, and this salvation is not maybe or could-be salvation, it is certain salvation. It is impossible to know the name of God if you donÕt spend adequate time in His presence. Spending time in His presence is spending time in the Word. Which of His Names do you know? Is it the name you have heard Him being called, or His Name that you have encountered in the pages of the Bible? For Moses to be able to execute the assignment he was called for, he went and inquired from Him about His name. God responded, ÒAnd God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.Ó (Exodus 3: 14-15) His name has not changed. His name will not change and His name will continue to make changes because His name is for all generations. Do you know Him? Are you known in Him? Call on His Name and you shall be saved. After Pharaoh had turned down MosesÕ request the first time, Moses went back to God. God insisted and repeated His name to Moses as the only weapon that will bring forth result. Pharaoh, an agent of evil, persisted and Moses persevered. JesusÕ parable of the importunate widow (Luke 18:1-8) is a demonstration of the need to persevere in calling when the answer is yet in our hand. God insisted, the devil resisted, but Moses persevered. Proverbs 18:10, ÒThe name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.Ó Call on Him if you know Him and you are known in Him. His name will not fail you.

When you call on Him, and not on man, He will remember, rescue and redeem.

Jesus is the deliverer, and when He delivers, He will also defend those whose hearts are contrite.

He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20)

The will of God is for us to live, and He does have a guideline on how to live. His guideline is not by force but by choice. God is not an authoritarian nor a dictator but a creator. He is a creator whose word is perfect. He is the Commanding commander, Healing healer, Unchanging changer. God is referred to and He has demonstrated many times that He is a longsuffering God, and that testifies that the Almighty Creator is neither an authoritarian nor a dictator because no dictator can be identified as longsuffering. The Bible declares in John 3:16, ÒFor God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.Ó God is concerned for us having life, but if you cannot concur with His concern you have condemned yourself unto losing life. God wants us to live as the year, month, week, and days rolls on. He wants us to have life and to have it more abundantly. Jesus clearly mentioned it when He declared to us, ÒÉI have come that they many have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.Ó (John 10:10) Are you living in such a way to have the life that He has come to give? It matters that we live according to the will of the Lord of Host, the Ancient of days, the only God that inhabits eternity. To live according to His will is to fear Him, and fearing God is living by His will and by living the will of God, there will be grace to have life.

THE WILL OF GOD FOR US TO LIVE: Jesus was quoting from Deuteronomy 8:3, in response to Satan during the wilderness temptations, ÒIt is written, ÔMan shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.Ó(Matthew 4:4) For us to live, we are to live by every word, not the word that is most convenient, not only the word that we chose to live, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Do you wonder why the word of God is so important? The word of God is the power of God, and that power is enough to navigate us in the journey of life. The power in the word of God is the power that created the world, Jeremiah 51:15, ÒHe has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, and stretched out the heaven by His understanding.Ó Remember, there was no record of Him using a bulldozer or caterpillar or hiring any contractor in creating the earth as recorded in Genesis chapters 1 and 2.  Why not take the word and embrace it with consistent meditation then wait to see the result? The word that comes out of His mouth is the word we are to use to have life and as Isaiah 55:11 testifies, ÒSo shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.Ó The word of God has to be constantly operated and not just to be interpreted. The word of God is not for decoration but declaration when any situation or confrontation demands.

OPERATING THE WORD: Deuteronomy 30:14, ÒBut the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.Ó All that makes the word to work is by acting on it; the word will do for you exceedingly and abundantly. Are you living the word? Living the word is believing the word and believing the word is behaving the word. Receive the word of God, believe it and behave it, then you are set for exploit because the word of God will be your strength in this world. Moses encourages us through Joshua, ÒThis Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1:8). The book of the Law, which is the word of God, is the will of God for us to have life. Until we are able to live by every word of God, wickedness continues in its exploits. When the word encountered Simon and his fellow fishermen after toiling all night without a catch, it was the sound of His word that delivered breakthrough unto the failing fishermen. Just a word of His commands sounding in the direction of Simon, ÒÉlaunch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.Ó (Luke 5:4) At the sound of His word, emptiness turned to abundance. Ask for the grace of His word to sound in your direction and the grace to receive and live by every word that comes from the mouth of God. With His word you are bound to have a year, month, week, of celebration.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

He is coming back for the righteous not the good. Accept Him and have life.

ÒPut Me in remembrance; Let us contend together, state your case, that you may be acquitted.Ó (Isaiah 43:26)< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Remembering Him for who He is will grant an entrance into His gate because remembering Him is giving thanks and praises to God. In approaching God, taking a stop at the gate will not be enough and can never be satisfying without getting into His court. Entering His court requires praising Him. Praising Him should not be a mouth exercise but devotion from the heart. The Psalmist knew what it takes to pass through the gate and enter with praise, Psalm 100:4, ÒEnter into His gate with thinks giving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And is truth endures to all generations.Ó Is your praise constantly with understanding? There has to be meaning and understanding in every route of connecting with God or else it could be a race against the wind. The Psalmist talked about it when he says in Psalm 47:7, ÒGod is the King of all earth; Sing praises with understanding.Ó Remembering God should not be limited only to the time of need, it should be consistent. Those that know how to remember Him in thanksgiving will know how to receive from Him with praise. God will respond when you pray, but to remember to thank Him will bring perfection. It is impossible to remember Him and not be lightened up with joy. When you remember Him, you will glory in His name because His name is glorious in holiness and fearful in praises. When you remember Him, you will seek and find Him. When you remember Him, it is impossible to miss in the journey of life. You cannot remember Him and not meditate on His works of old, which are what guides you in your life. Remembering Him is trusting Him, and trusting Him is what will keep you standing where tens, hundreds, and thousands are falling. Psalm 20:7-8, ÒSome trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright.Ó Constantly remembering Him will bring constant joy in your heart because He is a covenant-keeping God. God cannot forget to remember His own especially when His own refuses to forget Him for all He has done, for all that He is doing, and all that He will do. He is faithful in His word and He will not fail to remember when we put Him in remembrance. ÒThen God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God Made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. Ò (Genesis 8:1) God does not sleep and He will not sleep concerning His children. The fact that He remembered is not a demonstration of a forgetful mind but an indication that God moves at His time, which is always better. God will always remember with favor and visits with salvation. God commanded Noah to build an ark of salvation before the time of the flood, and when it was time for Noah to land on dry land, He remembered Noah and made a way for him on the dry land. Have you ever considered the need to maintain your trust in Him knowing that He has not forgotten you? The children of Israel were in bondage for over four hundred years and they cried and groan for salvation, ÒSo God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.Ó (Exodus 2: :24-25). Salvation was not activated for them until God remembered them. What do you need for God to remember you? God is able to remember you and dry every tear of lack; He is able to remember in moving you forward from every ground of stagnation. Sarah was going to Shiloh yearly with her husband and Peninnah and she had nothing to show for because she was barren. She had no child until she encountered favor when Eli the priest prayed the prayer of favor for Sarah. ÒSo it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel saying, ÕBecause I have asked for him from the LORD.ÕÓ (1 Samuel 1:20) At the process of time God remembered Sarah. If you have been waiting on God for long, it will not be long for Him to remember you because He is a merciful God and no situation is hidden from God. Pray in the name of Jesus and the same God that visited Noah, the children of Israel, and Sarah, will not forget you; He will remember you with favor and He will visit you with salvation.

God is a God of order not blunder. When you reorder what He ordered, you would end up in blunder.

When you do not allow the word of God to make a change then world and its work will be in charge over you.

It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. (Lamentation 3:26)

 < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

Years have gone by, months have rolled out, weeks are not bringing forth expectations, and disappointments are by the day. Does that sound like you? Ask God for His grace to continue to stand as the season travails. One thing is certain, this season shall pass and your blessing will not pass you by as you continue to wait. Keep on waiting and know that He is waiting for you. Isaiah 30:18, ÒTherefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are those who wait for Him.Ó Indeed He waits for those that wait on Him. As regard to expectations that have remained manifested for years, rest assured that the Lord has been there for you just like He did for the children of Israel while in bondage in the hands of the Egyptians. God had visited them, yet they were still in bondage going through the process of time. God called on Moses and declared, ÒGo and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ÕThe LORD God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me saying, ÒI have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt.ÓÕÓ (Exodus 3:16) While they were still in bondage, crying out for deliverance, God had already visited them and concluded the plans for their deliverance. If you believe that the God they were crying and groaning to is same God who you call on, be rest assured that He had already visited you. The plans for your manifestation have been put into processing and it will come. God mentioned to Moses, ÒBut I am sure the that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not even by a mighty hand. 20 So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst; and after that he will let you go.Ó (Exodus 3:19-20) Yours is coming and the enemy will let go. The same God is on top of all and every situation that you have been waiting for.  The outstretched hand of God is on your side. It is testified throughout the Bible, all the great exploits that the hand of the Lord has delivered. Wars have been won where there was no weapon to be used for battle; ways have given up way where there was no way. God never sleeps and He will not sleep over every confronting situation. It does not matter how long you have been waiting, but it does matter that in waiting, wait only on Him. He alone has the outstretched arm to deliver and to preserve. Do you know what it takes to get going in your waiting? Take to the executions of those that have waited and became overcomers. King David is an example. He declared, ÒI will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praise; So shall I be saved from my enemies.Ó (2 Samuel 22:4) David understood quite well what it meant to be constantly praising God. Praising God will stop every hand of the enemy that is hindering your expectation. Every enemy that confronts you on a daily basis requires constant praise for them to fall down flat. Praising Him is not in the mouth, but in the heart through the mouth. David was confessing the kind of praise that delivers him from every hand of his enemies. The praise that provokes the hand of God is the praise that is embedded with understanding. Psalm 47:7, ÒFor God is the King of all the earth: sing praise with understanding.Ó Have you been singing your praise with understanding? The understanding that you have in praising God is the one that will carry you into His court. Access into His court will give you an edge over every area of life. Praise is power. If you will be constant and consistent in praising Him, you will be constant and consistent in being raised by God. Psalm 100, ÒEnter into His gates with thanks giving, And into His courts with praise, Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.Ó It is clear that thanksgiving will get you into His gates, but praise is what will actually get you into His courts. Praising God is power. Once in the journey of the children of Israel to the Promised Land, they encountered a wall of hindrance. It was the wall of Jericho. The wall did not just come down, but it came down flat just by praising Him. God inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3, But you are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.Ó What will it cost you to let praising Him be your only language as you enter into a new day, a new week and a new month? Constantly praising God is what will make all the difference in every walk of life. Praise the Lord!!

In the life of a believer, when the word of God fails to make a change the world will be in charge.

When your questioning Him becomes a complaint, you will fall into your destruction.
