Return

Lk.15:11-32, Jer. 4:1

When a child turns away from the right ways of his father he will be troubled. The prodigal son decided to turn to his own way. In the beginning it was good and fun. While in the course of his turning away, distance told on him and he could no longer stand on his own. He wasted so much and waste became his identity; famine reigned in his life and he began to want. A son that was destined not to lack locks himself out to lack. Lk. 15:14 says, ÒBut when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in wantÓ. Just like it was for the prodigal son, so it is when you turn away from God. It will trouble your ways. It could be that you have turned away from God consciously or unconsciously. It is not too late to return back unto Him. He is a merciful God. He never runs out of mercy it is you that have ran out of His mercy when you decided to turn away from Him. It is written; the prodigal son came to himself; rose and went back to his father with a request for forgiveness. With a sincere heart, you can do it now; it does not matter where you are. God will answer and accept you back.

Pray that God who made heaven and earth will make you and return you back to where

You have turned from Him.

LORD, have mercy
