Calling

ÒAnd before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the LORD where the ark of God was, and while Samuel was lying down, that the LORD called Samuel and he answered, ÒHere I am!Ó(1Sam.3:3). Light going out was not enough to denied Samuel from hearing the call of God. The call came in a time when the word of God was rare; when there was no widespread revelation (1Sam.1:1). God called Samuel and he heard GodÕs calling in his life. God is still calling just has he called Samuel. Regardless of who is around you or where you are located, God will call if you are located in Him. Samuel was located in Him because the word says in 1Sam. 2:18 that Samuel ministered before the LORD, even as child wearing a linen ephod. Where are you in your walk with God? Are you ministering unto Him or you are restraining His hand in your life? Let God in your life; ask Him to give you the grace of hearing when He calls on you.
