Dan.1:8-16

Purpose

What is your purpose in serving the LORD God almighty? Think for few seconds, come back and continueÉÉ.Now, one thing is to know your purpose; another is to purposely live to your purpose. Purpose is huge in this race of salvation. All that Daniel needed to excel, be distinct, and overcome every trouble of his walk in the LORD was, he purposed that the name of God be glorified. He would not have been able to purpose if he had not known his purpose of living. Dan.1:8 says, Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with a portion of the kingÕs delicacies, nor with wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he would not defile himself. Purpose (To resolve or settle) When you resolved in your heart; that is to settle for God to be glorified, God will set you up for great exploit. You shall run and not be weary; you shall walk and not be faint. Wherever a wild animal is consuming them, you will be commanding the wild animal to go to sleep. After he purposed for God, God brought Him into the favor and goodwill of the eunuchs (Dan.1:9). God will give you a heart to be purposeful for His name to be glorified and the favor of God will reign in your life.
