Trust And Obey

Trust and Obey

Luke 9:12-17

At the feeding of five thousand, disciples asked for the multitude to be sent away after they have been fed by the word. They were concerned because: it was a desert area; it was a late hour. The concerns were based on the need to be able to feed the multitudes. Jesus requested that the multitudes be fed with five loaves and two fish. The request sounded impossible; in an impossible location; at impossible hour of the day. Having mentioned to the disciples to feed them, He gave a clear command Luke 9:14 for there were about five thousand men. Then He said t o the disciples ÒMake them sit down in groups of fiftyÓ. Always catch His direction in full or else you will be short in miracle. In this situation, just sitting down would not have been a complete obedience if they had left out sitting in order (groups of fifty). Luke 15 recorded that, Òand they did so, and made all sit down. After they had followed direction fully, He blessed five loaves and two fish to feed multitudes of Five thousand, and they ate in abundance. Can you see? Until His command and order was received indeed He did not bless the bread and fish. The scripture is neither story nor letter, it is meant to give life. Trust and obey, avoid half obedience and all impossibilities in your life will be converted to possibilities, it does not matter how impossible your situation presents itself. The LORD is God, the LORD is God, and the LORD is God.
