Location

Gen.19:1-13

The people of Sodom and Gomorah were consumed by sin. The people were living a life outside of GodÕs commandment. When it was time for their destruction, God sent his angels to go and destroy Sodom. Abraham knew that the angels were on mission to destroy Sodom where Lot, LotÕs wife, and children were dwelling. There was no way Abraham could have warned Lot to run out of Sodom at the time that he found out about GodÕs plan. Lot needed salvation from destruction because he was for the LORD. As a man of God, he needed to be at the right location so he can be delivered from destruction that was meant for the land. As a child of God, are you conscious of your location? Do you pay attention to who you are and where to be and not to be? In order to constantly avoid untimely and sudden destruction, there are some places where a committed child of God should not be found. Also, when agents of destruction are on the loose, there are some places where a child of God should be in order gain salvation from destruction. Lot was at the right location to receive his deliverance. Gen19:1 now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. Lot insisted strongly that they should come to his house. If it was only that evening that Lot had plan to be a part of the sin of Sodom, he would have missed out and not be on location for his salvation. Be conscious of your location as a child of God.
