Ex.2:11-22
Moses, from the palace to desert demonstrated the spirit of a leader. He attempted torescue his people from bondage before GodÕs calling in his life. He saw anEgyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. He killed the Egyptian, thinking none had seen him. When he went out the second day, in his effort to settlea fight between two of his Hebrew brethren, the killing of the Egyptian wasmentioned to him. Moses knew it was no longer a secret. In an effort to escapefrom getting axed for killing the Egyptian, he fled from PharaohÕs palace tothe desert. When Moses had escaped to Midian he helped in delivering thedaughters of Midian priest from their oppressor. He was granted a place to stayby the priest of Midian for helping his daughters. Ex.2:21 then Moses wascontent to live with the man and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses. For Moses to be able to continue in his journey of life there was a need forhim to be content in every stage of his journey in life. You never know whereGod is taking you or how He will take you in the journey of life. Yoursituation is not a set back; it is a set stage for where God is taking you. Inhis journey from the palace of Pharaoh, into the desert among sheep, MosesÕ life style wasaltered; but life continued. Does that apply to your case? ÊFocus on God, Godlinesswith contentment is a great gain (1Tim.6:6). God will see you through.Ê
