Jeremiah 25:1-7

What is in your hands that are denying you from working the work that can provoke the hands of God to bless you? Jeremiah 25:7, ÒÔYet you have not listened to me,Õ says the LORD, ÔThat you might provoke Me to anger with works of your hands to your own hurt.ÕÓ Just as the work of your hands can provoke Him to anger, so also the works of your hand can provoke Him to favor you. God does not overlook sin; neither does His eye overlook the bearing a good fruit that gives Him glory. 1 Chronicles 16:9, ÒFor the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.Ó Which side are you on? You cannot escape, and you will not escape the consequences of whatever your hands build for you. It is very clear to you that manÕs judgment is different from God. The judgment that your brethrens has been passing on you concerning the works of your hands will not count when God makes His own judgments. You can only fake it for a period of time. Why donÕt you put your hands in the hands of God and ask Him to help you get into doing what will provoke Him to favor you rather than anger Him.
