Mark 2:1-12

It does not matter how much faith you have, without forgiveness, healing will be delayed. This is evident in the life of many who received healing when Jesus was on the face of earth. A man with paralysis tore the roof to get to Jesus when all roads were blocked. He had faith but he needed forgiveness to get healed from paralysis. Paralysis is not the loss of a body part; it is the loss of the ability to move a body part. Where you are going is set for you, but you lack the ability to get set for where you are going. If your case sounds like this, you are having paralysis. Are you physically or spiritually paralyzed? With your faith you will need forgiveness from God. Mark 2:5, ÒWhen Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, ÔSon your sins are forgiven you.ÕÓ There is nothing for you to reason about this, it is the word of God. Jesus taught it in the LordÕs Prayer. You always have to ask for forgiveness when you go to Him in prayer. He demonstrated it many times when He delivered some from sickness and diseases. When you reason in your heart like the scribes did, what He said to the scribes is essentially being said to you. Mark 2:9, ÒWhich is easier, to say to the paralytic, your sins are forgiven you, or to say, ÔArise, take up your bed and walk?ÕÓ The paralyzed man had faith, received forgiveness, and was healed. Call on Him, because you have faith and ask Him for forgiveness that will convert all your stagnation into motion.
