Numbers 32:8-15
The goodness and mercy of God was provoked when the cry of the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel reached God. Exodus 3:7, ÒAnd the LORD said: ÔI have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.ÕÓ God did not plan to get them stranded in the wilderness when He took them out of the bondage of over four hundred years. GodÕs plan was to get them out of bondage through the hand of Moses to a better land — a land flowing with milk and honey. God brought them out of bondage, but they could not leave Egypt behind. They could not follow God fully; they failed to let Egypt go. Let the past be past before your past turn you up as history. Numbers 32:11-12, ÒSurely, none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not wholly followed Me, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, for they have wholly followed the LORD.Ó It is not impossible for you to be in a rightful mind amongst thousands of people who arenÕt. When thousands are in one agreement, you can be the only one in disagreement and still be right. Know whom you believe. Stand on His word of direction and do not compromise your faith. Ignore the dictates of your heart and you will not be surprised that you are the only one on His ground. God will enable you to take a rightful stand when situation demands it.
