At every prayer meeting, you are the loudest; there is no prayer group in town that you do not participate in. You wonder why it seems your prayer is not being answered. Are you someone that does not have to travel across to every prayer session and yet your prayer seems to be hitting the roof? The word of God is true and amen. He has never lied and he will never lie. His words are what He says it will be. 2 Chronicles 7:14, ÒIf my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.Ó God wants to hear your prayer, but your pride has formed a cloud of denial for your prayer. Turning away from wickedness cannot be achieved because pride is having a place in your life. Can you now see why you need the Spirit of God to break into your life so you can make your prayer life a power house? God is a merciful God, and when you go back to Him, cry to Him for help and ask for a divine intervention that will help your prayer life. God meant what He said and until pride is permanently washed off from your life, you will not be clean enough to approach the ground where God answers prayer. You wonder why you asked for some things and get it despite your pride and wicked ways? God is longsuffering and He wants to continue to give you chances for redemption. It is time for you to move from the bottom of Prayer Mountain to the top. Ask God to take away every garment of pride and decorate you with garments of humility.
