Seek Him

SEEK HIM< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>

2 Chronicles 26:1-23

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength (Deuteronomy 6:5).The word requires all, not half; no compromise or reservation, it is a command.  Loving God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength is all that it takes to seek God. When you begin to seek God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, you will be able to heed to Him. It is an error for an acclaimed believer claiming who seeks God, yet be filled with all kinds of bitterness, empty pride (because pride is empty), an unforgiving spirit, and all kinds of worldly identities that does not glorify God. If you are harboring any of these in your life, something must be wrong in your seeking after God. It does not matter how any days a week you go around fellowshipping, when you are not right with man, you cannot be right with God. In seeking God, there is so much to gain. When Uzziah became king over Judah, 2 Chronicles 26:5, ÒHe sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him prosper.Ó In seeking Him, Uzziah gained prosperity and was established. When he departed from seeking God, he entered into affliction. He became out of tune with God, started to violate sacrifices and ended up his life with leprosy. Have you been seeking Him but are beginning to fall out from it? Let not your story become like that of King Uzziah. Get back to God and ask for the grace to seek Him diligently regardless of any situation that you are dealing with.
