Certainity

Acts12:1-19

The miracle of certainty is rooted in the prayer of gathering in togetherness. Peter the Apostle was in a challenging situation, he was in a position where the life of James, the brother of John was taken by King Herod. There was no way out for Peter to escape the hand of Herod. Acts 12:6, ÒAnd when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison.Ó Man shut the door on Peter, only heaven could open. Acts 12:7, ÒNow behold, an angel of the Lord stood by Him, and a light  shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, ÔArise quickly!Õ And his chains fell off his hands.Ó With no way of escape, Peter went into sleep. When the angel brought deliverance, it was like a dream. During his walk with the angel through the gates of the prison, Peter was not himself because he was asleep instead of praying. Have you given up your hope for a sleep? God has never failed and your deliverance will be certain in Jesus name. The angel led Peter through the iron gate for deliverance in the hand of Herod. Acts 12:11, And when Peter had come to himself, he said, ÔNow I know for certain that the Lord had sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.Ó Peter was able to escape and he went to his brethren that kept in prayer.  Acts 12:12, ÒSo, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying.Ó PeterÔs escape was a miracle, it was a miracle that was certain, because there was a gathering together in prayer on his behalf. Any gathering that is not together can not generate a miracle of certainty. Enter into gathering that is together and the miracle of certainty will become your portion.
