Psalm 121
If you are someone that can still turn your neck up and down, all that you need is to turn it up. In turning up your neck, your eyes will be lifted up to the Lord God Almighty. The Psalmist testifies in Psalm 121:1-2, ÒI will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the LORD who made heaven and earth.Ó What you will get in turning your neck and lifting up your eyes is an unfailing deliverance and preservation from the Lord God. If you have not stopped in turning your neck around, looking for help in what or who the Creator has created you to be will not be a difficulty. It is only through the direction from God that help will come. The creation does not have help to offer. It is only until the hand of God is extended through His creation that help will be delivered to you. Have you sincerely and not religiously asked for Him to help in your particular situation? Psalm 32:8, ÒI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.Ó Inside the instruction of God is His hand to move you to where you will get answer for your need. His instruction is the direction that will come forth to you when you turn your neck and lift up your eyes up to Him. Also, inside His teaching is packaged for you when, where and how to take each and every step that will enable your getting help. In turning your neck and lifting up your eyes, deny pride and arrogance. Let them not filter into your mind because the One you will be lifting up your eyes knows every thought of your heart. He alone will determine how to respond in helping you. This is what Hannah said in her prayer after getting out of bareness, 1Samuel 2:3, ÒTalk no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the LORD is the God of Knowledge; and by Him actions are weighed.Ó God will instruct you and teach you and His eye will be the One that is guiding you from every form of hindrances. Turn to Him and you will find out that He is consistent with His Word.
