BELIEVE AND BEHAVE
John 4:46-54
It is not enough to believe the word of God and not behave His word. Jesus, the One and only Word of God was described, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’” 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.”” (John 1:14-16) The word of God is God and in the Word inhabits all the power to make and unmake. The same Word that was in the beginning is still the same Word that is today. Jesus gave the word of direction for protection from embarrassment at a wedding in Cana of Galilee where there was an unexpected lack of provision for the marriage celebration. Having departed from the wedding scene, the Bible mentioned that He went back again to Cana of Galilee. John 4:46-54, “So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.” Jesus’ second coming was different from the wedding celebration. Jesus had to deal with the situation where a child of a nobleman was sick and at the point of death. Jesus alone is capable of confronting every situation for those that will wait to see manifestation of the Word. At His second coming to Cana of Galilee, Jesus gave His word to the nobleman on behalf of the nobleman’s sick child, “Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.” (John 4:50) The nobleman did not doubt nor question the validity of the word when he turned back and went his way as the Lord commanded. The noble man’s turning back and going his way was an evidence of behaving the word that was released for his child. Have you experienced the word sounding in your direction and needed to see a sign before behaving the word? Jesus’ mother warned the servants at the wedding of Cana of Galilee, “…Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:5)The word will undoubtedly work for you when you walk just as you are commanded. If you will stay away from waiting to see the word at work before you behave (believe) the word, your miracles will become undeniable.
Prayer for today: Lord I ask this day help every area of my unbelief that I may enter into my undeniable miracles.
