HIS CALLING TO SEND YOU

FAITH CAPSULE: Like Joseph, did He send you without you knowing?

Genesis 41

When God calls to send you, self-control shall be out of your control.
When He called Joseph, he became a slave; he could no longer move at his own will or control.
He came under obedience to authority he could not control.
When He calls, one will enter a position to learn the kind of obedience that adds humility.
Jesus, our Lord, the Savior of all, learned obedience through the things He suffered for. (Hebrews 5:8)
When He sends you, there will be the experience of chain, pain, and iron that restricts movement of the called.
When He sends you, there is no control over time and timing in your journey.
The time to journey through and get to the center of divine assignment is in the hands of God.
It does not matter how long it takes but know that nothing interferes with His timing.
The word points out that until the time of God came to pass for Joseph, there was no way out for Joseph.
Joseph began the journey at age 17 (Genesis 37:2) but completed it at age 30 (Genesis 41:42)
When one is answering to the calling of God, one becomes timeless. The attempt of Joseph to come out before the timing of God was a failure. Joseph attempted to come out when he pleaded to the butler (whom he interpreted as his dream) to remember Him for help.
Butler failed Joseph, his expectation until the appointed time of God. (Genesis 40:12-15)
All that represents failure, delay, mockery, stagnation, embarrassment, to be ridiculed and lied against are passages in the life journey to arrive at the center of divine assignment.
Those passages are also testimonies that enhance assignments in life.
In the calling of Joseph, the Bible repeatedly identified the source of empowerment for Joseph, stating, “But the Lord was Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave favor” (Genesis 39:210)
Just like Joseph, have you been called and sent by God without knowing you are on the journey to the center of your divine assignment?
God is ever faithful to back the called ones up in their journey.
Test which comes along in the journey to the center of the divine assignment will give birth to a glorious testimony in the life of ones that faithfully remain faithful by looking up and trusting God for direction in their journey.
Joseph did not know what was transpiring from the start of his journey. As much as he was a man who dreamed or interpreted dreams, there was no iota of understanding or idea of where he was going and how to get there.
Noting testified that he rebelled or complained against God throughout his journey.
Joseph kept his pace with peace for him could not cease, and he arrived at his center of divine assignment.

Prayer for today: Ask that you will not walk where you need to run and not run where you need to walk.
