Acts 9:1, John 14:6, 8:12
Shine on me
Saul has always been on a journey, but the one to Damascus marked the end of a journey that was full of bitterness and anger generated by bad intentions towards the servants of the living God. On his way to Damascus, he was breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord (Acts 9:1). While breathing threats, he inhaled peace because the light shone on him. His life was turned around and his name was later changed from Saul to Paul the apostle. On the way, he encountered the light. In John 14:6, Jesus said, ÒI am the wayÓ, John 8:12 ÒI am the lightÓ. Which way have you taken today? Ask God to lead you to the Way. On your way to your Damascus, ask God for the same light that shone on Saul; the light that terminated the darkness in SaulÕs life will shine on you, for GodÕs name to be glorified in your life.
