It Is Well

It is well

2King4:8-37

The Shunammite woman had no child and husband was old. Elisha prayed for her and she had a son. After a while, the son was sick and he was pronounced dead. The Shunammite woman did not make any noise and there was no evidence of agonizing. When she was set to go and look for Elisha, the husband wanted to know where she was going but she replied that Òit is well.Ó 2King4:25 and so she departed and went to man of God at Mount Carmel. So it was when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to his servant Gehazi ÒLook, the Shunammite woman! V.26, ÒPlease run to her, and say to her, ÔIs it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with your child?ÕÓ And she answered, ÒIt is well.Ó The Shunammite woman confessed positive all through her agony. Most times, a consistent confession of positive will terminate every confronting negative issue. Positive confession is a demonstration of faith. There is nothing that pleases God like having faith in Him. Heb.11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. She went to the man of God; she was diligent in her confession; she received her miracle because, her son came back to life. What is the issue in your life? Confess positive if you believe. Say it, keep on saying it, till you see itÉit is well with your soul today, in Jesus name.
