Building

Gen.11:1-9, Ps.127:1, 2

Ps.127:1 says, unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it: Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. Anything that is built outside of God can never stand. He alone is the almighty builder. He alone builds and it stands. When you let God build you, you will stand. When God builds for you it will not fall. What is it that you are building that is so important than spending a reasonable quiet time before God? Early in the morning you rush out to work, late in the evening you are still out. No quiet time with the LORD that gives you life. Remember Tower of Babel? In Gen11:4, the people call on each other, ÒCome, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earthÓ. They were self centered and God excluded. When you are self centered in your building you will be scattered and confusion will reign. Are you going to let God? It is never too late to commit whatever you are building unto God. It could be relationship, career, or anything you can think of; get God committed let Him be the builder in your life.
