Consequence

Num.20:7-13

God is a faithful God. Whatever God makes you to see, He wants you to receive it. The choice to receive is in your hands by virtue of the steps you take. When God called Moses to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, it was meant to get to the promise land. Moses, the leader saw the promise land but did not get to the promise land. With sin, there is forgiveness; and there are consequences. God asked Moses to take the rod; speak to the rod before the eyes of the children of Israel; and water would be yield by the rock for the children of Israel to drink. Moses got to the rock and called the children of Israel rebels; struck the rock twice instead of once just has the LORD have sent Him. He disobeyed God and there was no excuse but consequence followed him. In Num. 20:12, then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, ÒBecause you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them. You might see the light at the end of the tunnel, until you get there; you are yet to receive it. It is one thing to see the promises of God; it is another thing to receive it. The choice is yours. Ask God for grace not to miss the mark of the race.
