Sacrifice

Sacrifice

2Sam.24:1-25,Rm.12:1-2,

Besidestithes or offering, what else have you given unto God lately? In your life, what is costing you that you in your giving unto God? What is your sacrifice toGod? Is your sacrifice costing you or it doesnÕt cost you when you give it toHim? Think about this, the cost of your sacrifice to God will determine theamount of anointing that surface in your life. There has never been any kind ofsacrifice like the one Jesus gave; as a result, the kind of anointing in thelife of Jesus is yet to be found. King David, having numbered the children of Israel, God moved against the children ofIsrael with plague. David needed to erectan altar to the LORD, to stop the plague. When King David approached Araunah,he was offered a free threshing floor to build an altar to the LORD, that theplague may be withdrawn from the people. 2Sam.24:24 Then the King said toAraunah, ÒNo, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offerburnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.Ó So Davidbought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. Those that know Him know well enough not to live a satisfied life but asacrificial life. In all of your presentation to Him, let it be a sacrificialone. Rm.12:1 I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, whichis a reasonable service. ÊÊÊÊÊ
