Mark 10: 46-52
Any roadside beggar must be covered with dust. The bible mentioned about one blind Bartimaeus Timaeus; a blind man sitting on the roadside. His situation had him grounded; dust and unacceptable conditions must have been robbing on him. Mark 11:47 said when he heard that it was Jesus of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Nazareth (passing), he began to cry out and say, ÒJesus, Son of David, have mercy!Ó Despite his condition, all he needed to do and have his condition turned around was to listen; hear and be able to see in his hearing that his deliverance was at hand. He cried out. You have been hearing but could not see in your hearing. The day that the blind man heard that Jesus was around, his ground of stagnation gave up on him. V.50 mentioned that he threw aside his garment; his garment of shame and dust departed him. Mr. Bartimaeus Timaeus cried out to Jesus and received his sight. V. 52 pointed out that he immediately followed Jesus on the road. It is not possible to follow Jesus with good sight or open eyes and remain the same. You will remain in your situation if you continue to let Him pass by you without crying out for His help. Mr. Brother, stop hiding when you cry for His helps; ignore what the multitudeÕs reaction to your cry will be. After all, you are crying to the healing healer not a man. The road duster became the road master when he received his sight; he followed the Master of the road. Pray to God to open your eyes in hearing.
