Genesis 26:1-33

Isaac repeatedly ran into confrontation with the herdsmen of Gerar over the digging of wells. He knew quite well that that part of the world could not have survived without wells. Every effort by Isaac and his servants to have a productive life at Gerar were punctuated by the herdsmen of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Gera. The herdsmen of Gerar kept taking away the wells that were dug by Isaac servants and would not leave them in peace. Genesis 26:27-28, ÒAnd Isaac said to them, why have you come to me, since you hate me and have sent me away from you?Ó V.28 ÒBut they said, we have certainly seen that the LORD is with you. So we said, Ôlet there now be an oath between us, between you and us; and let us make a covenant with you.ÕÕÕ Those who that have been tormenting Isaac with hatred turned around and looked for him to settle with a peace treaty. What happened? What was the cause of change? They saw God in him. They saw that the LORD was with him. His walk and work for God made the difference. He was shinning for God. How is your walk with God? How is your work in the LORD? Is their any difference when compared to your next door neighbor that does not want to hear the gospel? Go ahead and deceive yourself. You know the state of your identity. It does not take forever for you to be distinct. Also, it does not take forever for the enemy to turn his hatred for you into peace if indeed your walk and work is that of God. Proverbs. 16:7, ÒWhen a manÕs ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.Ó  The word of God is true and alive, take to the word of God and it will take over your life.
